Dangerous situation late at night
We has a group of people knocking on our door at midnight. Really scary expericne when they banged on our door at 2 am to come out to party. It was a real dangerous situation. We left in a hurry in the morning and forgot food items, couple of bottles of loquor and most importantly some of our clothes. Called the property to arrange pick up by our couries for our clothes and things. spoke once but no further contact from hotel.
Everything aside, we found it a real uncomfortable situation late night and really concerned of our expensive car outside and what would happen if we opened the door to confront the bad crowd. We stayed there trapped in floods but would never consider this motel if passing by again.

A nice little country motor inn - clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Comfy bed, good shower. Curtains are not block out, bring an eye mask if it bothers you. The owners/staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the motor inn’s restaurant Red Hide Bar & Grill (Tue-Sat from 6pm), wow what a lovely restaurant in such a small town! It had a lovely vibe, cosy & classy - white linen tablecloths, pretty tea lights on each table. Excellent menu, quality dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Beer & wine per glass very good price, highly recommended. For a Tuesday evening, it was quite busy, probably best to book a table.

Good spot and an even better Restarant and chef . After a big couple of days and meals on the run , the group of 6 from the Agricultural industry arrived at 7.30 pm in Clermont in Queensland and we were hungry. Rooms were good and we all could have slept on a Barb wire fence at that stage . However we were treated to a brilliant meal of high quality that would fit in a capital city restaurant. That sparked us up no end and after those two long days , we regained our happy dispositions for a wrap up of previous meetings. Big thanks to the European chef and his European waitress for their skills and engagement.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff and a great spot for dinner just a short walk away.
Only negative is that it is a little dated but that certainly didn't impact on our 1 night.
Clermont has a couple of fantastic shops to look through as well.
