Had a lovely stay there last week staff were lovely and helpful food was great I must say it was a lovely stay the rooms were lovely and clean bed very comfy the staff could went out of their way to help you and tell you nice places to visit the weather was lovely as well

We passed through Lisdoonvarna and was recommended this restaurant. It was excellent all round, food was great, very quick and great service. Staff were very lovely especially the manager. She was so helpful, kind and checked up in us after we received the food. Will definitely make sure to come here again.

Two days prior to arrival as advised by a phone call price of room was €320, upon arrival advised room was €400. When returning to hotel, requested a drink, only to be subjected to a verbal assault by security totally unwarranted. As a result, 2 female staff attempted to apologise for this altercation but advised they did so on their own behalf and not on the perpetrators behalf. Overall, unpleasant experience and left feeling unsafe. Not to mention stained sheets and alcohol bottles in room upon entry. Will not return.

Stopped for dinner here one midweek evening. Food was fabulous. Goats cheese salad/Beef stew. Staff lovely and helpful and it seems like a family business. Will definitely return again in the near future.

On était trop tard ce soir-là pour le Roadside Tavern à 100m, alors on nous a acceptés de justesse au Ritz pour le dîner. C'était ça ou rien vu l'heure tardive (21H20). Salle immense, pas hyper cosy. Carte sans intérêt, des basiques, j'ai pris un morceau de boeuf irlandais, pas énorme, pas cuit comme j'avais demandé. Posé sur un vague lit de champignons/oignons. Bof. Le plat de ma compagne (plutôt thai) était correct, type cantine. Ca ne doit pas être fait maison ou si ça l'est ,c'est sans âme. Personnel hyper jeune (période estivale donc étudiantes sans doute), au petit bonheur la chance, l'une souriante et serviable, l'autre qui devra chercher un autre job qui lui convient mieux (aucun sourire, anglais approximatif, me fait répéter 3x quand je lui parle en disant "mmm?" au lieu de sorry ou what did you say.) Repas plié en 1/2h, au revoir et pas de pourboire.

Terrible welcome or no welcome at all. Rude manager. Although younger staff very nice and friendly. Their manager very rude. The bar is quite smelly and needs a refurbishment. There are other businesses in the village, best give them ago to no doubt experience a good welcome and friendly environment.

„The Ritz“ klingt schon originell und ist eine Kombination aus B&B, Pub und Restaurant. Wenn in dem Pub Stimmung ist, dann sollte man besser in den (zB) Zimmern 24 oder 25 wohnen, denn die sind im Seitentrakt, da ist es dann ruhig. …..teilweise, denn unter diesen Zimmern sind an der Hauswand Bänke, auf denen rauchende Gäste sitzen, die dann bis früh in den Morgen dort sitzen mit einem Bier aus dem Supermarkt gegenüber. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist einfach, klar, sauber und funktionell. Die Chefin ist aufmerksam und engagiert, das Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend. Das Restaurant bietet eine ziemlich bescheidene Speisekarte in noch bescheidenerer Qualität. Pech ist, dass die Alternativen im Ort auch nicht besser sind. Der Ort ist ist unbedeutend, außer seiner Lage relativ zu den touristischen Attraktionen der Umgebung gibt es dort nichts.

We were staying in Lisdoonvarna for the weekend we decided to pop in here for a change of scenery,the bar was packed and the bar was brilliant craic, the staff were Brilliant and the music was fantastic, will definitely return next time there

While spending several weeks cycling on Ireland's beautiful West Coast, I had the good fortune to stay at the Ritz for several days. This family-run hotel is a real treat, sitting unpretentiously in a quiet little one street town. Heather (the owner) and her staff are extremely gracious and so very welcoming, the rooms comfortable, the bar beyond cozy and there is a good chef running the kitchen. At the end of each day's cycling, coming "home' in the evening was a truly wonderful feeling every time. I cannot sing the Ritz's (and its staff's) praises enough!
