Rooms were hot, hot HOT!! I wish they’d put a window in or something to stop us from propping the corridor door open at night. We paid for the room which gives access to the lounge. Lounge had great food and drinks of the first night - I wa impressed. They then closed the lounge on our second night and opted to give us a takeaway box which was no where near the value of paying for the executive room. Luckily, the hotel agreed to give us a refund for our remaining nights and we went to a different hotel. I think in Normal times - when covid is well and truly finished - this hotel would get a revisit. Staff were friendly and like I said, lounge served some good food.

The hotel is located on Development Avenue. The room was clean, especially the balcony had a good view overlooking the whole old street. But the air conditioner was not strong, the room was cold, and the bathroom was open and there was no door, so there was no bath that day, it was too cold.

Traveling this season is really comfortable. It is also an unexpected surprise to stay at this homestay. The room is spacious and the windows are bright and clean, the environment is beautiful and the air is fresh, and I will come again in the future!

We ate in the main building of Dapengshan Hotel in the evening. The menu was released. Everyone was very satisfied with the meal and the price was not expensive. The next day, we went to the scenic spot of Dapeng Mountain and visited the Xianfo Valley, which also contains the Buddha Temple and so on. Especially the Dapeng Villa next to the parking lot, where there are barbecues, farm dishes, and B&Bs. The farm dishes ordered a lot of food at noon that day.
