Breakfast is a typical American motel breakfast with sausages, bacon, yoghurt, juice, and coffee. The room was tidy, there was no microwave in the fridge, two beds, only one stool. There are enough parking spaces. Nearby is the Hannaford supermarket.

Abigail the supervisor at the Portland maine locations verbally accosted my husband and her co-worker. She was immature, abusive, unprofessional and abusive. We spent 2 days of our 3 day stay dealing with her nonsense and requested a call from GM Abraham on sat to date the following Friday we have not been contacted. We rented 2 rooms for 3 nights 4 days. Spent $2300 and was offered $230 as compensation for the abuse we endured. Hotel housekeeping staff, and the other women at the desk were amazing. Marcia front desk should be the manager. Abigail should be fired. Management was not responsive, our concerns were not met with a solution worthy enough of what happened.

My wife and I came to Portland Maine to visit family. We stayed at the Sheraton Sable Oaks and we were very pleased we did. I would like to thank Chris Merriam Exec Chef for his kind and generous hospitality. What a gentleman! Meg Poulin Sales Manager happened to come by our table just to say hello. Imagine that? And Suzie our waitress took very good care us. Through our conversations we determined that between the three of these wonderful people there was over 90 years of hospitality expeience at this single property. Can you imagine? That ”is” the testament of this matchless property. We...will...be staying there again. Thank you all

Not worth the money they charge. The gentleman at the front desk did not seem to like or know his job his job. He made errors at check in by. Hanging the wrong credit card, never sent luggage to the room and did not seem to care in the least each time we tried to get the situation rectified. At checkout we were mistakenly charged for a meal. There was total confusion on the hotels part to resolve. Spoke to the front desk manager at the time of checkout, called and spoke to Pat the front desk manager a few day later. He told me he would look into the charges and call me back that same day, he never returned my call. Call a few day later and asked for the hotel manager, Micheal, explained the situation about the incorrectly charged meal. He said he would look into it and call me it two days, he never returned the call as he said he would. Had to call the hotel again, no more than a week later. Spoke to another manager who said he figured out the issue and credited my credit card a few days earlier. Still have not seen the credit. Not impressed with the service at all. Anyone can make a mistake in a bill but it is how it is dealt with that determines the customers experience. The managers at this hotel don’t seem to understand customer service. Very surprising but true.

GGuest UserThis is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Amazing breakfast, friendly welcoming staff, fun pool, and a huge outside area around the hotel to stretch your legs or play games. Lots of parking. The hotel is like a labyrinth that the kids will enjoy exploring. The rooms are a bit small and outdated but all the other qualities make the rooms dust in the wind. Oh and they just put in all new matresses while we were there.

Nice large rooms with a sitting area, kitchen area (microwave, fridge, and countertop), suitcase area, work desk area, clothing closet, separate bathroom vanity and shower/toilet areas, and bedroom area. Plenty of room for work, play, relaxing, and eating. Nice parking area. Watch airplanes come and go right from your bed. Breakfast buffet available (cheese omelets, strawberry yogurt, spicy sausage patties, pancakes, packaged muffins, and more.) Beverages available in the lobby include coffee, tea, cocoa, and hot apple cider. I would stay here again.

RRelax36101416745My first trip to Maine was amazing. This hotel was beautiful. I understand it only opened less than a year ago. The lobby was lovely, free breakfast, and a nightly happy hour with drinks and food. Gym and laundry facilities, and water/ice dispensaries throughout the hotel. The room was beautiful and so well led out. It was obvious the designers of this space understood the importance of maximizing space. It was one of the few hotels that did not have an alarm clock, which is so redundant these days. Had a room with 2 beds, very soft and spacious. 3 night stands, kitchen area, spacious bathroom, large closet, desk space...really, it was a perfect stay. 10 minutes to downtown Portland!

GGuest UserWe were in shock with our stay. The rooms were filthy. Black mold and mildew on the shower heads and in the groove lines on the shower wall with a black shadow on the bottom of the tub. There were hairs all over the bathroom. The floors were nasty with dirt and debris everywhere’s. The furniture in the rooms and in the main areas were all stained up. The desk chair in one of our rooms was a fake leather chair and it was completely cracked and pealed and if you sat on the chair it stuck to your clothing and pieces fell onto the floor. The rugs had not been cleaned at all. The walls and the vents were dirty even outside the room. The hall vents were black as could be around the vents, walls and ceilings. The lobby bathroom walls were dirty had old soap dripping down the wall dried and caked on. The trash can was all rusted and dirty. The floors were covered in dirt. We got two towels that had brown/red stains on them. We asked for a bag of trash and a plunger used for a back up toilet be taken down the first night of our stay and it was left outside our door because we were told housekeeping would pick it up and it sat there our whole stay. The pool and hot tube room windows were covered in green and black growth also and the worst part is the pool and hot tub chemicals burned our skin.

When we asked if they had a room we thought great its 7:30 pm we were all exhausted and we actually have a place to stay with my puppy. When we got over to our room just entering into the hallway to go upstairs there was garbage all over the carpet. Ok so I let that go because its a main entrance so I figured through the day things got dropped or whatever. Go up to our room and open the door the first thing i saw was coffee still sitting in the coffee pot. Yuck 🤮 obviously wasn't cleaned. Hubby and I checked the beds to make sure they didn't have bugs that was fine. Sheets seemed ok. On the corners of the bed was all kinds of crumbs. Obviously no vacuum was used. So my teenage daughter wanted to watch TV and guess what it wasn't working. I called the front desk to let her know after trying everything to fix it. The girl at the desk was very pleasant and I dont blame her at all. She did say she was relatively new and would call her supervisor to find out. Well she called me back to tell me she had a message to her supervisor but no one had responded. Ok so no tv whatever. Later I went to shower and noticed the curtain looked off and the rod was barely hanging on the wall. I get in and showered and noticed the tub didn't drain so I had water to my ankles. So now we are all getting ready to go to bed as its been a long day and the darn beds were like rocks. Hard and very uncomfortable. About 2 hrs later my husband wakes up saying he was hot and he is never hot he rarely uses ac. When i got up the ac unit was blowing hot air. Then I realized it kept shutting off through the night. Well maybe some of my complaints are because I was a housekeeper for 4 years but I dont think that's what it is. When we get ready to check out i voiced my concerns and thoughts that they would do something to make it right but instead I got a story about how they hire a cleaning company to clean. Well I will never stay here again nor reccomend it to anyone.
