I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come to Redding in the future. I have stayed in a total of 3 hotels in Redding, Sheraton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Holiday Inn. Only the Sheraton lives up to its name.
Hilton Garden Inn has the worst service and facilities among the three. The front desk has a poor attitude towards non-native English speaking guests and is obviously much less patient.
Sheraton will not have this feeling of being treated differently. The front desk staff is very polite and friendly to Chinese people. The house facilities are similar to those of newly built five-star hotels in China. They are new and comfortable. The rooms are relatively large and very clean. ; Moreover, the area where the Sheraton is located is very safe and belongs to a relatively good area in Redding. The nearby scenery is very good; the hotel restaurant is also very good. I was a little thirsty while waiting for a table. I wanted to buy a glass of orange juice and the clerk gave me a glass directly; I only stayed here. There is a real sense of vacation.
The room is like an American traditional hotel, no work, no work, it is very lively on weekends, many children go to the swimming pool to play, it is OK to come for a short stay for one night.
I would recommend this hotel 1000 times if I could! As someone who travels for a living, and stays at Hilton’s frequently, this one is by far one of the best hotels that I’ve stayed at. To start off, the staff is wonderful! From the beginning of the check-in process, to the cleaning, staff and housekeeping staff, everybody is extremely accommodating and nice, and do their jobs very well. We requested some sheets an additional towels, and they showed up to our room in a matter of minutes, as opposed to other hotels were, it has taken hours to receive items we requested. I even ordered some food and did not place a room number on the order. Despite the fact that the food was just left at the front desk, the staff went out of their way to find my room, call me, and personally hand deliver the food to my room. This is just one of many examples in which the staff exhibited above and beyond customer service when they didn’t have to. The hotel is quiet (which is a huge plus if you like sleeping in and don’t want to hear your neighbors). The rooms are clean, very well-maintained and well-kept, the sheets are clean and soft, and everything smells great - lobby, elevator and room. Everything is truly top notch! The amenities are wonderful, and the fitness center offers more equipment than most other hotels that I’ve stayed at. This hotel is what all Hiltons should aspire to be like. Truly a great experience and hoping that I get the pleasure of coming and staying here again.

When I went to go Check-in, they lost my reservation. The first room that they sent me to was still occupied by somebody else. The second room I went to the keycard. Did not work the third room I went to. We stayed in, but the toilets did not flush propbrilliant for it being considered an upgraded room. I was very disappointed. They did not enforce the no smoking policy. I was on the 2nd floor and the room beneath us would smoke and it would drift into our room with our children. They now charge for breakfast. The person working it. Walked away so many times it was hard to pay. I was very disappointed all around. I will not go back. The pool was clean.

We were looking for a place to stay just a couple hours before arriving to Redding. Typically we stay at familiar chain hotels, but these were booked and/or more than we wanted to spend. We were lucky to find this gem for a reasonable price and we had a great stay. It’s in a convenient location, has comfortable beds and is super dog friendly. We will definitely book here again next time we need a spot in Redding!
Check in and check out was fast and efficient. Jordan, Katelin and Jacqueline were three outstanding employees at the front desk that answered all our questions. They were very personal and courteous. Had breakfast in the restaurant and the food and service was spot on. Great variety of items to choose from. Server, Cathy, was very efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and quiet. All in all, it was a great experience. The next time we are in Redding, California. Looking forward to staying there again.

LLove 4 YahUpon arrival, the lady at the front desk was pleasant and allowed us to check in early. We rented a 1 king bed suite...when we got into the room it was very clean. Had a full fridge, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Couch and bed was comfortable...pillows were fantastic. For someone with neck issues, it was nice to have full neck support. Our suite was the handicap suite (204) which we didn't need but it was nice to see the higher level of service for those that don't move around so easily. Breakfast was the standard continental type, but they did make eggs without that nasty swine which most hotels usually mix into the eggs making them inedible for us as Hebrews.
The only thing I could find that needs to be improved on is their cheese grater in the room it functioned like a dollar store item, it's a good thing I brought my own from home as I knew I was going to need a really good grater for the horseradish for Passover.
QQ1745KVlynnwThis is not my first stay at the Fairfield in Redding CA. Each and every stay has been wonderful. Robin, in the kitchen puts out a full breakfast fare and if you don't see what you want she'll provide it if she can. The women who man the lobby desk, Lori, Valli,Courtney, Cambria, and Rachel take care of me like I was their own grandmother. Greg helps me deal with the complex t.v. settings. This trip was the same as the others. My daughter and I stayed the 17th, 18th and checked out on the 19th of September. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, the hot tub delightful. We will definitely stay there again.
Jjackie97Third visit there close to the hospitals that we have to use. Rooms nice and clean. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. Child under 17 free so is one pet under 80 pounds. Price is good for the area across the street from Safeway and there’s a restaurant in the same parking lot they also have a swimming pool.
It was clean quiet and comfortable room. AC worked great during a little heatwave when I stayed there. Great value for price. I would definitely recommend. Employees were friendly and they have a large TV channel selection including 3 Business News Channels. I rarely see at other hotels. I did not use wifi. but it have free wifi and free parking. This is a great choice for a stay in Redding, CA
GGuest UserPrices werent to bad. Rooms are very nice and clean. Staff are all very nice. The free breakfast was a joke, oatmeal and fruit.... fruit was either not ripe or looked like the fruit that fell off the tree and the bugs had their way with before being picked up and given to guests at the hotel for breakfast. Oh and the juice machine has been broken the whole time ive been here, 3 night so far. but all in all this place is pretty nice and I will definitely stay here again.
AAnonymous UserOverall room conditions, amenities and cleanliness are satisfactory. The breakfast included are just basic stuffs, but coffee and tea are provided in the pantry throughout the day. However, the day front desk staff are the most unfriendly and unhelpful we have ever encountered.
448545250Room was large, comfortable and well equipped......We had booked a king room, but the room was L-shaped with sofa more like a suite.....it also had a large balcony......only con was that it was hard for a tall man to shave as the mirror over the sink was not tall enough...... Air conditioning worked very well and reasonably quiet...... Front Desk and Cleaning staff were all very friendly and professional..... Hot breakfast had lots of choices and was kept clean and replinished promptly......the only con was that the breakfast room was quite small and can become crowded quite quickly....... Didn't use the pool or hot tub......but it appeared to be an after thought.....small and located near the alley We stayed 6 nights and it felt like home.......would definitely stay here again.....
GGuest UserI'm a budget traveler, but look for cleanliness, friendliness, and a quiet place to stay. You know that when you stay here, it's just the basics. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, the bathroom had areas where cleaning had been missed, but in general it was comfortable, clean-ish, and our dog stayed for free. I requested a quiet room and was told to stay upstairs and closer to the office, and the room was quiet. Motel 6 is no frills, and that's what you should expect if you stay here.
