Coming from a hotel ”snob”,saying that this Westin is one of the finest hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in means a great deal. Kudos to the professional and friendly staff - especially Adrionna, Autumn, Erwin, Guille and Marcos. Location perfect and interior and exterior first class.
One bottle of mineral water for 3 guests booking in the room! Front desk said this is as per State Law that only 1 bottle for 1 room! Room service needs 24 hours notice! Message of daily car park charges was not delivered clearly, we were charged 4 days x USD30 for zero use of overnight parking. Original charges was 7 days, hotel front desk took away 3 days and charged us 4 days, although this is out of goodwill, I still feel that this is badly handled.
A naval ship type experience. Smallest hotel room I’ve been in since NYC. Reinforced staying on the right side of the law lest you end up in a place this small. The shower glass was a part of the actual room. We love historic hotels but I’ll pass on this one. The great downtown location you’d expect for a historic hotel, but not even a dresser in the room itself. No room! Nowhere to even put one piece of luggage in the closet! Only plastic cups in the room, no room to put a toothbrush on the bath vanity, no floor length mirror (we were attending an event), and the room lighting was poor. We are only here for two days, and we were claustrophobic the first hour. Even the hallway felt like being on a ship. Truly considered upgrading or changing hotels. Nice ambiance and charm downstairs. Parking situation was decent but expensive (as expected), $29 for self park. I think it might be a nice place for an event, but truly go get a hotel room built for modern size humans. Hotel staff gave little help with taxi service which I found baffling.

The HP in Pasadena is beautiful ... more like a Regency, with a spacious, well-appointed lobby and spacious breakfast area. The room was clean & spacious, with a different layout than other HP's ... the bathroom was NOT situated at the foot of the beds where light/noise would bother those sleeping. Location of the hotel was great for our sporting event at the convention center and walkable to Colorado Blvd. shops. Will definitely stay here again!
The hard product at this Residence Inn is quite good -- great location with clean, modern and spacious rooms. We had the two bedroom two bath suite, which though pricey at around $500 a night, was great for our family and even better than connecting room options elsewhere. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the showers hot with good pressure. However, there were a number of disappointments with the soft product. We arrived late with a sick and very tired child, to find there were no linens in the room for the sofa bed. Moreover, the only person who could bring them up was on break for the next 20 minutes, and they wouldn't allow me to just come down to the front desk for them. These really should be kept in the room. Second, they have the large containers in the shower for soap, shampoo, etc., and once I was in the shower I discovered there were two shower gel containers, and no shampoo. The breakfast by far was the biggest disappointment, probably one of the worst I've ever had at a free breakfast property. The big metal warmers where you usually find things like bacon, sausage, or scrambled eggs, were filled with breakfast sandwiches (see photo). Specifically, the type where you buy frozen and heat up in the microwave, and keeping them in those warmers makes the buns a bit damp and unpleasant. I tried one, the soggy bun was bad enough, but it became inedible when I bit into the middle to find it cold from not having been microwaved thoroughly. They also were out of plates, having only small bowls, and apparently could not go down to Costco or the grocery store to restock. They also had limited juice options. I'm really on the fence on whether I'll go back to this property. The location and the large suite option make it hard to beat, but the failures from poor choices by management and lack of staff training make me want to try my luck elsewhere, particularly given the high cost.
The location is very convenient for Pasadena and surrounds. It's just a short walk to shops and restaurants and felt safe at night. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. Downsides: They were heavy-handed in using an industrial strength room deodorizer in lieu of giving it a deep clean. The smell barely faded after leaving the window open 24/7. We found kibble on the floor because they hadn't vacuumed properly. (Maybe the previous pet-owner occupant was the reason for the deodorizer?) The fridge wasn't working and they did try to fix it. But in the end it never worked so we had to through out all of our perishables. The room never felt that clean or well cared for. No, I would not recommend staying here.
The furnishings in the room are old but still very clean. The quilt core is very thin, almost non-existent, and it feels like it has been used for a long time and has not been changed.
When checking in, the front desk tricked us into upgrading the room type, adding dozens of dollars and saying that it would provide a room with a good view. As a result, we were assigned to the most remote room, a building where no one lives at all, surrounded by decorated railings and we could not see anything. Later, we went back and asked them to change back to the original room. They made up all kinds of excuses saying that the view of the room we originally booked was very bad and we could only see the roof. They asked us to pay more than ten dollars to change the room. After changing the room, we could only see the roof and a little bit of the garden. . . The car was parked in Valet parking for one night, and the tire was flat on the second night. Nothing to say... The garden is still beautiful, but it was a really disgusting check-in experience
The people at the hotel are very sweet and accommodating but they need to do better when cleaning hotel rooms…the sink smelled like sewer water. I thought it’s just one night but every time we turned it on it was a strong odor. I felt gross even washing my hands, let alone brushing my teeth. The drain should be cleaned at hotels. The vents were full of dirt. I had my baby and it just disappointed me more than anything..it felt dirty. It was too late to switch or do anything. Please do better for the health of others.
The room was very noisy near the road and the room smelled of alcohol disinfection. The surrounding neighbourhood is still relatively safe. There is a Thai restaurant at the door. The taste is good. The diagonally opposite supermarket is more expensive and the hotel's breakfast is still delicious.
The room is okay, the toilet is relatively large, the bathroom is very simple, blocked by a canvas curtain, there is a small amount of simple shampoo, skin care oil, towels, no slippers, toothbrush, the location is a bit off, the bed is okay Comfortable, with parking space, breakfast is very simple, bread, ham, sausage, coffee, cereal, and some fruit.

Pasadena Convention Center
Ccoo***anI don't know if I will choose this conference center for a large conference, the function here is quite complete. It would be nice if it was bigger. The bathroom here is always a long queue.
Old Pasadena
乐乐心0826Pasadena ~ A satellite city very close to Los Angeles, Feng Xiaogang filmed "See You or Not" here. In recent years, because the background of the hero of "Life Big Bang" lives here, it is also very well-known.
Pasadena City Hall
MM32***23We had to come over and take a few photos because we were a park and entertainment fan. The building is beautiful outside and in the courtyard, and the Jackie and Mike Robinson Memorial across the street is fantastic! Worth driving over and seeing, oops, and ah, taking a few photos. It feels like if the outside is so organized, their municipal services must be efficient.
