Breakfast is a simple American breakfast, there is a free take-away coffee, hot water is available 24 hours a day, it is very convenient, the first time I stayed at this hotel feels good! I took two old people and asked for a room with two big beds. It was quite spacious and convenient for each other. In short, it was nice and clean and tidy.
First I was given a room that hadn't been cleaned...4th floor. Next room across the hall was clean but not in good repair. Window shade tearing, Curtain torn, bathroom plugin did not work. Soap dispenser in shower broken. Pillow liners zippers were broken. I did find 3 out of 6 that I could use on one bed. Towels were rough and thin. Hallways and elevator floors dirty and crumbs in corners. Outside trash cans emptied but sticky debris all over lids. I did not eat breakfast because if you can't see the obvious detail food has to be mishandled. First morning smoke detector went off at 6 am.
Our family of four (2 teens) stayed here 6 nights. Having a separate bedroom, suite style, made all the difference for us so we didn’t all have to go to bed at the same time for a full week. There was plenty of space for us to store our bags, but a luggage rack would have been helpful. A few more things that would have helped: more hangers in the closet, some hooks by the front door for jackets (had to go thru bedroom for closet), and a couple of “purse hooks” under the entryway shelf, a couple more towel hooks in the bath behind the door, and a hook or bar for a kitchen towel by the sink. Also, some usb charging ports are pretty much standard these days, and in our room could only be found on the bedroom clock. An additional comfortable chair in the tv space would be nice to fit a 4th person. We had to use the desk chair, not so great. The beds, blankets and pillows were very comfortable, and the room dark for sleep. We didn’t hear much outside noise, but the a/c-heat system had a loud hum and strong breeze. We found that even in winter we needed to keep it on a/c or the space would heat up overnight to the mid-70’s and become stuffy. The kitchen was quirky and pots for cooking were insufficient. I only cooked once. There was no pan for making eggs, just steep-sided sauté pots, but breakfast had eggs every day. I made my own one day when the eggs had cheese in them that I couldn’t eat. I washed everything by hand until the last day because with 4 people and 4 each glasses, mugs, plates, we ran out quickly. Breakfast was fantastic, with hot options and something for everyone, including bagels and pastries, bacon or sausage, waffle iron, oatmeal with toppings, fruit, snack bars, yogurt with additional toppings, sliced cheeses (even Brie!), cereal (mostly sugary varieties), I do appreciate the Udi’s gluten-free bagels every morning, and hand cut fresh fruit. I am celiac and never got sick from the food. It was a nice start to our day for skiing. The hot tub was a great apres-ski, with the pool for cooling off. The hot tub itself was large enough for two Mamini es and plenty hot. Towels were sp**** and there never seemed to be any clean ones when we would go so we’d have to go to the desk to ask, a bit inconvenient walking around in a swimsuit. Our room was on the second floor a few doors from the entry, which was really convenient for us. We still had a nice view of the mountains. The rooms were generally quite clean, but our bathroom needed a deep clean. The metal trim was grimy and the wallpaper was coated in a layer of dust. Everything else was adequately clean but I noticed this right away and it really bugged me. However, it was not enough to reduce my rating. The hotel layout was logical and easy to navigate. Location was good, close to restaurants and Costco, 40-45 minutes from Snowbird/Alta, easy access to the freeway system, friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay! Will likely return.

The rooms are almost identical as the real Hilton down town I’m not sure what that says about Hilton but this place was only 80 something dollars. The walls are just as thin at the Hilton that is 200 dollars a night. The only difference is that there isn’t a bar where you can take a 25 dollar bottle of wine to your room for 100 dollars. This place is completely adequate. I think the people with the negative reviews don’t have much experience in hotels. I’m in a hotel at least 90 nights a year. The Hilton brand is so good in Utah. I have stayed in the one on foothill like another person was mentioning how much better it was and the only difference is a a little shop where you can buy a Kirkland bottle of water for 4 dollars. When I want to stay somewhere like the people complaining we’re expecting for literally 60 dollars more you can stay at a Hyatt brand and in my experience it’s worth it if you don’t want to collect the extra money from your tdy allowance. You spend 90 dollars for a room and expect a luxurious experience I just find it humorous. Eat your waffle, yes the walls are thin, sleep in what you paid for because it’s not bad and stop trying to give a crappy review. My room as always been clean, the staff as always been friendly, I have never had my meds stolen like at the Marriott whose housekeepers have access to the safe in the room. You are in a bargain hotel if you want a completely silent room go to to the Hyatt regency and you will get what apparently you expect of all hotels. Other wise stop trying to ruin a business. Also if you have a daughter in a wheelchair in a sensitive medical condition spring for the extra 40 bucks. Again this place is fine comfortably and meets all my needs plus there is hbo. The one and only issue I have had is they ran out of towels so I can’t take my nightly sorry and they need to switch to a k cup coffee maker.
This is an unsafe place to stay. The staff are the contributing factor in this toxic and dangerous environment . The place employs abhorrent and judgmental evening staff. During our stay, maintenance personnel were masquerading as security using intimidation tactics on the guests. The general manager is of no assistance in addressing these concerns. It was evident by his response that he just wants the guests to go away and keep their mouths shut. If you value your safety and well-being please stay elsewhere.
Very rude employees they acted annoyed when I asked for my platinum member room upgrade and late check out, they acted like they were doing me a favor for getting my room key reset. I said hello to the front desk staff numerous times while passing through they literally just scowled at me with out saying a word. This is a problem with management considering it was every clerk. I was here on business I work for the federal government and they treated me like a bum I have also stayed at 75 Marriotts this year I was expecting to be met with at least common courtesy. Their GM is impossible to get a hold of. In closing if you feel like getting treated like garbage stay here. Also when I was leaving and asked for a copy of my receipt the lady printed off a receipt from October when I stayed here then proceeded to tell me I had not even stayed there, it was so confusing. They need to hire new staff. Oh also the cleaning staff took the liberty of rearranging my medications that were out. Im pretty sure they did this to read them and find out if there was anything worth taking good thing I don’t take anything like that. I will never stay here again it’s ran by red stone hotel group I can’t imagine what kind of llc this is they did not even have contact info, lastly it’s the same price as the Sheridan. I don’t know where they get off charging 140 dollars for motel 6 accommodations.
To begin with the people at the front the front desk were extremely rude, couldn't speak English very well and then there were booking issues that my wife had to deal with before we even got there, then there was the Construction issues (streets all dug up) that blocked us from even getting into the building/parking area without spending almost 45 minutes hunting for a route that would get us in even after calling the front desk asking for alternative streets to get to the building. They didn't even know the name of the streets around them to provide directions. This went on all week and several people who had reservations there experienced the same thing and voiced their dissatisfaction the the front desk only to be dismissed, again very rudely. The halls were dirty as was the room. We had no water on Friday for over 12 hours due to the afore mentioned Construction. The outside doors at the end of the halls did not lock allowing homeless folks to come in at all hours of the night to use the vending machines, we didn't know who was supposed to be in the building and who wasn't, therefore we did not feel safe the whole time we were there. We checked in on 9/6/21 for a Convention for our business. We had no pets, but when we checked out they did not want to give us a copy of the receipt. My wife insisted and they finally provided one. She stood there and reviewed the receipt and found where we had been charged a q”Pet Charge” on 9/8/21, the third day of our stay. She confronted the Desk Clerk who started making up stories to justified the fee. She told him to remove it because did not have any pets with us and they said they could not do so at that moment and would do it later. We checked our credit card a few days later and again after we returned home to Tennessee on the 24th and the charge had not been removed. We have disputed the charge and asked about how we can file credit card fraud and thief charges against this hotel. The information is being sent out to us. There room was never cleaned, nor replenished, we had to go to the desk every day to get towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and carry our own trash down to the lobby to get rid of it. We would have changed hotels had something else been available, but with the Convention and a couple other large events going on in the area, there were none available that would work out and then we are told that even if we had found another place we would still be charged the fee for the entire 8 days whether we stayed or not. We were stuck. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and we certainly won't be going back there.
Very nice facility, clean and comfortable, and friendly, helpful front desk staff. Good location for access to ski areas. Their “signature hot breakfast” was awful; if not for that, I would have given a five star rating. The turkey sausage patties were like eating shoe leather (I couldn’t eat it, threw it out) and the omelettes were institutional with what looked and tasted like processed cheese inside. I was told they could not serve anything better, that this was a “brand” requirement. Reflects very poorly on the brand, I’d say. Fortunately we were traveling by car and could bring our own breakfast food. I went downstairs every morning to get bananas (which were just-right ripe) to go with the unsweetened yogurt and homemade muffins and granola that we’d brought, so I can’t speak otherwise to the quality of their cold foods.
Stay away from this hotel. This is perfect for homeless people. Almost everything is broken. The table is broken. The chair is broken and you may need to go to hospital if unlucky. The bathroom tap cap is broken. However, water comes normally though. The shower curtain holders were displaced. However, didn’t fall down though. The room was non-smoking, but the blankets and bedsheets are full of holes from cigarette. The room is very dirty. The closet is dirtiest having only 2 hangers from ancient times. The room lock does not work always. The room entrance rubber pad hinders the door to open and close. The bathroom is too small and not having enough towels. The side bed seems taken from dumpster and put out there. No light breakfast is there even advertised.
