I had a question before I checked in, I messaged the hotel in the Hilton honor app. I received a prompt and courteous response from Jenelle. When I checked in the hotel Jenelle was at the front desk and remembered me & my message, she Also went out of her way to accommodate me with my special needs. Shortly after checking in Bevz checks in on me and make sure everything‘s OK. When I left and came back Bevz still remembered what I needed before I did. These two amazing employees are just the type that I would want to be the face of my business. I stay in many hotels and rarely do I see this type of service.
Located within a 4-mile radius from Disneyland, Anaheim Convention Center and Angel Stadium, we provide you the comfort at home, whether you stay at our all-suite hotel for business or leisure. Your spacious suite includes a kitchenette with full-size fridge and dishwasher. Start your day with our complimentary hot breakfast or end it with a swim in our outdoor seasonal pool.
Wonderful place to relax with your kids. They have so many activities that keep the kids busy even when not in the water park. The stay can be a little pricey but, trip helped make the cost a little lower with only having to pay the added resort fee of 29 a day. We saved about $200 dollars plus by using trip.com for our stay.

Our hotel stay was smooth from the start. The staff was very helpful and a big thank you to the manager Hassant who went above and beyond to accommodate us on extending our stay here. It truly felt like home away from home. We will definitely recommend homewood suites garden grove to all our family and friends. Thanks, Ferdinand and Anita
Extremely disappointed in the service that I received at this property..especially being a Marriott hotel. To start off, arriving at the hotel the exterior was extremely dirty..trash cans overflowing with garbage, spills in the parking lot and stains on the concrete made it seem like theres no attention or care to the outside? Not too good on the first impression..arriving in the lobby it was nice however at check-in I was checked in by the front desk supervisor who didnt recognize my Marriott Bonvoy elite membership? no additional assistance offered? no breakdown of amenities? the check didnt seem like a check in you would get at a Marriott hotel. Upon entering the room, it was okay, only bad thing would be the mattresses, they are very hard and make a lot of noise if you are moving around on them. The next day I call down to the front desk to request my room to be serviced as I was leaving for the day and upon my return, I enter the bathroom, and the lights are on and women's make up is on my sink?? I also seen a water bottle on the desk area that is not mine? I take these items down to the front desk and show the supervisor and all i get is ”sorry about that”..no interest on how it happened, no sense of security for guests or anything else. I had mentioned that it looks like someone was in my room and there was no further action? On day of departure I had asked for a later check out, just 1 hour past regular check out time which is 11 and the front desk sounded annoyed and let me know I could only get 30 mins extra and anything after that I will be charged. As a Marriott Bonvoy member and a guest in general this was very disappointing overall..will not be staying again.
Nice place to stay but had an issue with parking. I have an accessible plate and parking was 20 feet from the door..and I parked myself. Then got a 30$ a day valet parking bill on my final bill. She. I arrived the valet guy said I wouldn’t be charged…anyway I’m a Hilton honors member and have also let them know I won’t be staying at a Hilton brand any time soon. And I travel every weekend in the winter for sports. Oh well…
Minutes from Disneyland, but the drive to LA is easily more than an hour given the traffic jams.
Plenty of restaurants nearby.
Rooms are spacious but there’s a bitter after taste as I lost something in the room.
Didn’t hang the DND sign on the door, thought it would have been sufficient to inform the staff at check in that I didn’t want my room cleaned when they asked.
We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Disneyland. We had an incredible room with a seating area and separate bedroom and the room was clean. There was no safe in the room which was the only downfall. The hotel was a 40 min walk to Disneyland but we took the ART shuttle bus, it was $16 for 3 day unlimited travel on the number 3 bus to Disney and back, arriving every 20mins or so. Room was very spacious.

GGuest UserVery nice and big bed! It's also very close to Disney, and the transportation is convenient. The neighborhood is also very convenient
In terms of facilities, the basic facilities are complete. In terms of hygiene, it is very good and cleaned very well. It is a very nice hotel
GGuest UserThe room is clean, the bathroom is large, equipped with a microwave and electric iron, which is good. Unfortunately, there is no electric kettle. The breakfast is great. Although it is an enlarged version of the traditional American breakfast, it is also rich and delicious, and the children like it very much. The service staff are very kind and polite, making you feel comfortable. Will stay at this hotel next time
The booking at Days Inn Garden Grove was most dissatisfying. I had difficulty finding the location and reached out to the hotel. The representative was extremely rude on the phone indicating there was no medical center nearby and he had a customer in front of him saying, ”you need to hold on.” Essentially, the customer who had just arrived was more important than me, who was lost on the phone. Turns out, the medical complex I was in was directly next to the Days Inn (Harbor Inn) motel. Upon arrival and check in, I realized the door was broken and wouldn't shut all the way. There was also a very strong cleaning/chemical smell that was truly overpowering. It smelled like a strong carpet powder had been spread all over the room. Lastly, there was very little water pressure and the towels were all very tiny, as if for small children. With these items in mind, and with the ironing board propped up under the handle of the door for safety, I attempted to sleep and checked out in the morning, an early checkout from my 4 night scheduled stay. The manager was unavailable and the same representative told me the manager would call me regarding a refund for the early check out. I had checked in around 9pm and checked out before 9am the next day. I was charged a full 4 nights' stay PLUS a deposit and never heard back from the manager. I had to send an email through the app and received a short response of ”Hi, we are sorry to let you know but the reservation was non refundable and non cancellation anytime.” I called back and asked to speak to the manager and was told by a representative that because I was offered another room, I cannot receive a refund. I left my phone number again and emailed again asking that a manager call to speak with me directly. I have not received a call. I was, in fact, offered another room. However, I was not offered quality/caring service, I had a room that wreaked, I barely slept because I felt unsafe (the screws were literally falling out of the door lock), and the shower essentially didn't work. I showed the representative videos and pictures of all of these things. I assure you he did not care and did not seem surprised. What was the likelihood that another room would be better? And the fact that a manager will not speak to me speaks volumes. I would highly recommend that you seek another place to stay. Best wishes to all for safe travels and a stay that affords you simple comforts like a working door and shower.
EeugenemtA first stay at this conveniently located hotel. The room was clean, there was minimal amenities, an outside ice dispenser which was free and a beverage vending machine. The lighting in the room was more than adequate. Most importantly it was quiet in spite of the closeness to a freeway entrance and car wash. The staff was efficient and professional. The only negative was that the internet was slow. Also, there was a free microwave in the office as the room did not have a microwave or refrigerator.
I love this hotel! My boyfriend and I were super happy with the service, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was excellent especially Mirka, who made us feel extra welcome!! I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to be back!
Great little gem off the highway for a 6 day trip to Disneyland. Entire hotel was under renovation during our stay, and the rooms are improved. Room is spacious and appeared clean and fresh. The renovation is one of those “surface” renovations where when you look close there’s a lot of things they didn’t and probably won’t touch. The staff were super polite and helpful when I needed anything. The AC unit was vibrating super loud and I asked them to look at it and see if they could do anything. When we returned it was silent! Be aware though, the entrance to the hotel is on Trask, and there is no way to turn left into the lot at the light. You have to go down a bit further and U turn. I do recommend this place if you’re on a budget but still want to be close enough to the parks.
