I was going to chalk up my experience as an isolated incident and let it fade away.
That was until I received a phone call last evening around midnight! A rep. from Trip calling me asking about for my input concerning my stay at this hotel. I relayed to her that I had called Trip.com a couple of months ago right after a friend and I rented a room.
We rented a room around 5pm or so. I had expressed that the power in our room - the TV, Lamps, Microwave, Frig., did not work. We put a complaint into the front desk around 6pm. Issue was not resolved until later on, around 10pm approx. About an hour after that is bedtime so 95% of watching TV, microwaving, etc, was wiped out.
When I put the call into Trip,.com a couple of months ago, I received no follow up, until last night. Last night the caller wanted feedback about my room. I went over everything that had occurred. She also wanted input on how they could improve. I said, it's very simple, just focus on basic customer etiquette and satisfaction. At no point has any type of recognition been expressed concerning my loss of enjoyment of here said hotel stay.
Customer service/satisfaction is becoming non-existent .
Very vibrant hotel! Much lobby, Coppin bar area, activities with weddings and proms. Our room was spacious, well appointed with contemporary updates which added to comfortable living.
Highly recommend for any visit to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Convenient parking, easy access to hotel. Will make this our “go to” when visiting family and friends in the area.
My husband and I spent one night with our granddaughter while she was attending a dance class in downtown Cincinnati. When determining where we'd stay, we always go to marriott.com and Marriott has a lot of properties in the downtown Cincinnati area and across the river in Covington and Newport. I determined that the Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter would be the best for us. And it was absolutely a perfect stay. No issues. Comfortable room and bedding. We are members of the Marriott loyalty so a very nice breakfast buffet was available to us in a room outside of the main lobby restaurant. Doris was the attendant the morning we had breakfast and she was so friendly and helpful. We used the valet service for our car and the staff was excellent! When not serving other guests, all of the front desk staff greeted us each time we walked by. That is consistently the way it is with the Marriott hotels we've stayed in. It is in the culture of the organization. (We just returned from a 10-day stay visiting five different national parks in southern Utah. In three of the locations where we were, we didn't have the opportunity to stay in a Marriott. They are national brands and each was nice and adequate places, but the feeling we get from the staff of ”we're glad you chose our hotel” just simply isn't there from each staff member you encounter!) Back to Cincinnati: When you are on the Kentucky side of the river, you are going to find a lot of wonderful restaurants and places you can walk to. Getting to and from the location of our granddaughter's dance class was a breeze from the Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter. Great stay, we highly recommend it!
The location of the hotel was difficult to get around without a vehicle, but if you go up along the riverside Samjang-ro, you can get a beautiful view of the sunset. The facilities of the hotel were excellent, but it was regrettable that there were restrictions on facilities due to coronavirus. There are many restaurants and fast food restaurants around, but there are no interesting entertainment options.
I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and always have the best experience. The rooms are super clean and the beds are always so comfortable. Breakfast is consistently top notch and the managers reception in the evening is just what I need to unwind, especially on business trips. During my most recent visit in March of 2023, I was so blown away by how kind and attentive the staff were…they truly made me feel like a VIP. Special shout out to the folks at the front desk (Tanesha and Robert) for being so welcoming and accommodating…y’all definitely take hospitality to the next level! Can’t wait to stay at this hotel again next time I’m in the area.
The rooms were extremely clean, the staff was friendly and checking through my Hilton’s Rewards App continues to make Hilton properties my first choice. The location is close to many attractions and it is a safe environment.

John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge
Llove is blueWe have been to Cincinnati many times over the years and the Robinson suspension bridge is a dark and dark relic. It has been well maintained for nearly a decade and now it has become a landmark on the lake. We didn't realize the mural project until we looked online. We entered Cincinnati this way so we could see the murals and nearby George Rogers Clark Park. It is worth a stop if you cross the bridge. The road to the bridge on both sides of the river is well developed and built.

RRiverBlueThis is a small business district. There is a viewing platform to see the river and see the scenery. The night is beautiful. The lights are brilliant. Sit here and drink a glass of red wine. Watch the river rushing. Watch the lights on both sides of the river.
