Dirty! Disrepair! Fungus! The door handle had one screw and was hard to open. The bathroom floor looks to never get cleaned. It had funky stuff in the corners and edge and the grout was gross. The tub was slippery ( maybe sprayed with cleaner and never wiped or rinsed) and had pink fungus growing in the corners. The shower curtain was splattered with blue stuff and the bathroom vent fan disgusting. The chairs were shredded, the wall paper falling off, and the lap shade was sloppily hot glued on. The air conditioning outside was covered in mold and the vent block falling apart. The pool handicap chairs were rusted so badly that I suspect they are a safety hazard to anyone that wants to use them, and the jacuzzi doesn’t get hot. The shower water in the morning was on the cooler side.

This charming, off-the-beaten-path Marriott offers a quiet and secluded location. While the rooms are spacious, they could benefit from additional lighting, especially on sides with limited natural light. However, the service truly shines at this Marriott. Edgardo at the front desk was incredibly kind, efficient, and professional. He even acknowledged my Bonvoy Platinum loyalty status. The MClub was well-equipped with the usual breakfast offerings. While the cappuccino machine was out of service during our stay, the 24/7 weekday access to beverages and snacks was a welcome perk. The highlight of our stay was the phenomenal weekend breakfast at the full-service restaurant. Hanane's omelet-making skills were truly impressive, crafting the most delicious omelet I've ever had. John and Mario were also exceptional during breakfast service. Overall, the dedicated staff is what elevates this older Marriott. However, the $12 nightly parking fee felt excessive, especially considering it's an open lot without apparent security patrols. I recommend finding alternative parking nearby to avoid this unnecessary expense. Additionally, the lack of valet and bell service makes the parking fee even harder to justify.

We stayed here while attending the 2024 LATAM Cup at the Florida Panthers Ice Den. The hotel is older but comfortable and the rooms spacious. Service was much improved from our last stay! The lady who worked the overnight shifts was amazing and the breakfast staff also phenomenal! Rooms were spacious and clean! The only downfall with our stay was the elevator being broken. With all the hockey gear we were hauling around it made it hard for us to move the large wheeled bags up and down the stairs. We would recommend this hotel, and will likely continue to return every year. P.S. Breakfast was great and plentiful.

Brand new hotel. Room was not big but comfortable, good bed, black out curtains and shower with glass doors! Nice microwave and coffee maker. Downsizing: no in-room safe! Ants all over the room ( on ground floor). Choose higher rooms!
Overall nice hotel.
It’s so rare these days to have such an incredible customer service experience and also an amazing hotel experience. The gentleman who checked me in helped me with directions over the phone. When I finally arrived, he was so kind and pleasant. I’d been in the car for several hours and my gps took me to an apartment complex nearby, I was frustrated and in town for business. He politely thanked me for being an elite member, I laughed because I was downgraded this year in status. Well, he still upgraded my room and rolled out the red carpet. There was another gentleman who greeted me walking by and offered fresh cookies/popcorn. It’s the small things that make a huge difference! When I got to my room, it was everything I love about Residence Inn with the bonus upgraded room. It just made me feel special and important, a small gesture but one that made a big difference. He even phoned the room to make sure everything was perfect. I frequent the Ft. Lauderdale area often for work and I will ABSOLUTELY return to this hotel! I only took one pic of the door but I wish I’d taken more. The room was amazing.
Apartment-style suite, very nice, one bedroom with kitchen and living room! Two 1500-bed beds, three-person sofa in the living room, the family is full, the space is large, the kitchen is also available... Free parking, hotel room, American breakfast, recommended family vacation!
The hotel is very rundown. It appears that it is being used as a halfway house, and there were people who lived in the hotel full-time. I have empathy for the residents, but we felt very uneasy when there were at least 20 young men hanging out in the lobby and parking lot after dark. It felt like this could be a security issue. There was missing concrere in the elevator. Our desk chair was torn and ripped in multiple places. The couch and footstools were so filthy that we couldn't sit on them. Overall, the hallways and common areas very filthy and rundown. It was a horrible experience!!!
