Amazing staff and friendly people. Liz and Ariana are the absolute best. Super friendly and great customer service. They helped fix a problem that we had with the utmost attention to detail. I highly recommend staying here. Liz and Ariana made our trip special and memorable.
We were on our way to Los Angeles and had a flat tire so we had to spend the night in Carpinteria Never been there at all We had to wait until nect morning as we had to buy new tire The stayed at Motel 6 South and the check in super easy Room very clean, more than I actually expected I did laundry while waiting and they also let me had a late check out as per our situation with the car
It was dark when I checked in. It was a Motel, a row of beautiful small bungalows, and the car could be parked in front of the door. The map looks very close to the beach, but we have no time to go. The facility is okay in the Motel, because we have to leave early the next day and can't catch up with breakfast. The owner asked us to take a coffee pot from the reception into the room , And instant oatmeal. There is a mall nearby, with Alberson, a two-minute drive away. It was a little cold at night, and the heater was on, and I slept well.
Carpenteria is a nice town and the proximity to Santa Barbara can't be beat. It also has a nice, easy to access beach. This Holiday Inn is definitely trying and I think it will get there soon. I paid too much on Saturday night for what I got but Sunday's price was closer to the mark. Positives included a nice size room with a couch area which was great with our daughter in tow. This are gave us more space to spread out. Appliances in the room, including a keurig coffee maker, microwave and COLD refrigerator were a plus as was the welcome bag with water and socks at check in. USA Today is available in the lobby daily as is coffee and tea and the breakfast is a plus. Breakfast room is a bit small but it has a nice outdoor seating area which is nice. Offerings are the normal fair but include items like eggs, bacon, and sausage patties. The pool and hot tub are nice but get your towels from the front desk. The air conditioner worked extremely well and pillows included both soft and firm varieties that were marked as such. Our room window faced the freeway but we were not bothered by it at all. Management is very receptive to feedback and I appreciated that. It's worth a stay if the price is right.
Me and my family stayed at motel 6 north in carp. The staff There is great they are the most friendliest staff I have came across in awhile. I highly recommend this location for long term stay or short term.

1. The environment is nothing to say. One of the best luxury hotels in California. The facilities in the room are very good, especially the service! This is rare in the beautiful country. But the smell of money is everywhere. The house price is so high, and it costs 75 knives to park. Distressed!
2. The children's pool is great! Constant temperature, water depth can also be. It's not the kind of paddling pool that babies play in.
3. The scenery of the beach is slightly poor, especially the moldy sun umbrellas, I really can't help complaining.
4. When I checked in, I was given an ice cream coupon, but it turned out that it could only be redeemed from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, so I missed it perfectly. As a result, my son was hurt!
5. The question of tipping is confusing. The first bell boy told us to tip, the second bell boy told us not to tip at all. So, we didn't know whether to pay or not when we checked out.
Cute renovated old hotel with the vintage elevator very charming. However, I booked the hotel because it was promoted as a hotel with a spa. However, it did not have a spa and recommended a spa that was several miles away. Although I think I might go back cute.
