Very good hotel, reasonable SPA price, 20% discount for hotel guests, special technicians are in place to abide by the law, Ctrip also offers a buffet dinner and breakfast for low room rates, which is really a pleasant surprise! There is also a karaoke PARTY in the hotel lobby at night. In short, this is a perfect accommodation experience!

I have mixed feelings about this holiday in general. Although I enjoyed being away with my family in the sun I just feel a little robbed as this was advertised beautifully on the TUI website, hence why we booked. Food - I really enjoyed the food as I am a big foody and enjoy tasting all what was on offer. My partner and child however didn’t have many plain options and they lived on plain pasta and chips the full week. Getting to the food is like hitting a cattle market, people jumping in front when in the que, really busy environment as if they weren’t going to get fed. I also had a problem with the amount of flies crawling all over the food as this can result in illnesses. I enjoyed the al carte resteraunt because it was less busy, however limited options on what was on offer. I think food should be available whenever you want some, as this is what all inclusive means, however this is not the case with this hotel. My partner had a birthday and they provided a lovely birthday cake for him which was really lovely. Drinks - very outdated. Cocktails are meant to be exciting. However you get them on a little plastic 500ml cup and it tastes like diluted juice. I think the hotel would benefit from sending bar staff to a mixology class to make them more appealing. I enjoyed the wine. Service - the service was ok. As a person new to holidays, I thought it was the norm to tip on your last day, however speaking to other guests at the hotel I realised that a tip is expected each time, which is fine, however I’ve already paid for an all inclusive holiday and expect to be treated the same as other guests. We noticed by day 2 that our experience was altered and we were not treated by the service provider based on the lack of tipping. We realised our mistake and started tipping. But what really got to me was that once we asked for a drink at our table and where told to go and get it our self, which was not very pleasant because we witnessed other guests being waited on hand and foot. Again, I don’t mind tipping but we had already paid to experience this apparent 5 star hotel. Entertainment - the animation team are amazing and very skilful. I think they deserve a better stage built for them as it looks like a crooked wee wooden stall that’s falling apart. The animation team should be showcased more as they really are amazing. The pool party was an absolute hit. The kids club is really good too and my little one enjoyed going in and doing arts and crafts. Kept her occupied as she doesn’t manage well with the heat. I think to give this more of a five star experience when watching the shows, tables and better chairs could be provided instead of lining chairs up as if we are at a school assembly. I also don’t enjoy the culture of having to constantly put my hands up in the air, I want to watch and enjoy what I’m seeing without being forced to do this. I am aware this makes me sound like a scrouge but I really just want to watch and enjoy without being pressu

Me and my partner were both disappointed with the hotel overall. Our room was fine and the lobby area was also quite nice, however the carpets in the corridors have clearly been down since the day it opened and look very tired and dirty. Once we got through the swarm of flies that had beaten us to breakfast and lunch the food was fine despite the lack of hygiene and cleaning of any tables taking place. We did have to ask 4 times for some cutlery one evening which was quite tedious. It was a mixed bag with the staff, some were rude and borderline creepy and others were really good and helpful. The swimming pool appears to be falling apart with the amount of tiles missing too. The WiFi is also dreadful, be sure to download anything you might want to watch before you fly out. Going to bed before midnight sadly isn’t an option due to the pretty appalling and very loud evening entertainment taking place between 9.30 and 11.30 ish. They could at least play some different music each night🤣 You’ll also be harassed by people selling you camel and boat rides even after a few no thank you’s, one guy didn’t seem to get the hint. The beach was nice however and we based ourselves there for just days of our stay! The hotel was nowhere near full the week we went and I dread to think of the carnage it would be in the restaurant and around the pool over the summer when it is full. It just needs a total refresh/update before it can be anywhere near a 5 star hotel.

Wonderful from start to finish! I could not recommend this hotel more. For me, it was the hotel team. The hotel community went out of their way to connect with others and genuinely seemed to care. They showed pride in customer service and expressed that they take their five-star reputation seriously. The room standard was amazing. Due to rooms being fully booked over Christmas, I needed to switch hotels for the main Christmas days. I switched to the biggest and supposedly most “ luxury “ hotel in Sousse. Honestly, the switch was not worthwhile. I realized just how exceptional the quality is at the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. The housekeeping team visited daily providing toiletries, clean bathrobes and nice extras ( such as sweets and chocolates) to the room. Their friendly faces with their cheerful banter were a pleasure to embrace each day. The food quality was great! I do not consume meat or dairy but that didn’t make a difference, there truly is something for everyone. The fresh food selection was incredible and certainly unbeatable to those I had tried elsewhere in Sousse and Tunis. The cooks shared helpful recommendations and I tried a range of fresh local flavours. This hotel was comfortable, with a cheerful friendly team and positioned with an exceptional view of a gorgeous quiet beach. I would happily stay again, and I highly recommend the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the remarkable team.

Quiet stay, good reception, excellent services. The hostel needs renovation and more maintenance.
