First you're afraid if the taxi can't find in the dark Smaids Room, but at last we entered a modern Resort. Directly a nice staff who helps you with everything. Sleep calm and a good breakfast in the morning, choose Thai or Europe. For the city exploration they have good bikes and staff gives additional information for the attractions to search. We had a good stay and go back to Lampang and Smaids Room in four weeks. We will give the route ourselves because we know the city and are happy to have dinner again in the street

Fantastische ervaring, best value ever for low price. Nice ladys on the reception, help and advice with everthing. Come back next time in lampang. Advice for restaurant baan paya surin in the center of the city. We want to buy otop wine, they recommend a licorstore name all drink ever.

I liked how they had some covered parking spots. The cashier didnt know english but was good with using the translator app which is very helpful. Location was close to alot of places, yet far enough from outside noise. The decorations are a bit outdated and cleaning could be better. Beds are a bit old but it was alot more comfortable than most I've stayed at in Thailand. There is no soundproofing. I could hear the room next door up until midnight.

Nothing fancy here, a new construction , large clean room with 2 table-desks, comfortable bed., tv, Immaculate bathroom. Free wifi. Free morning Toasts and coffee. Very quiet residential area, great for morning walk. Good price. Not very easy to find.

Clean accommodation.. good price located on the main road, close to gas stations, restaurants, lovely hotels, bright and beautiful photos, good service staff. Delicious breakfast, great value, delicious tom yum soup, fried pork, 10 full breakfasts. The menu is small but it tastes as delicious as having breakfast at home.

On Tripadvisor it only has one review (and now two) so you wouldn't have high hopes - but on other booking sites, there are hundreds of reviews all of which rate it very high - and upon entering your room, you will realize the high marks are very well deserved. First, rooms are spacious - if not downright huge - large bed, significant storage areas, built in area to work/study. It seems like this hotel has been designed for long stay/business though it is certainly relaxing as well. Coffee, tea, water restocked daily in addition to a couple bags of chips and soda/pop at no cost in addition to a small fruit plate waiting upon arrival in the full sized fridge (again see comment about being planned for longer stays) It might be the secret high end hotel in Lampang judging by the rooms and also by the brand and quality of cars in the parking lot! Rooms were clean with quiet strips under the door and black out curtains. Breakfast is a simple buffet including thai rice soup/porridge as well as sticky rice and chicken/pork skewers (again also not common in hotels.) Staff wear masks in the dining area and kitchen. So overall a really pleasant surprising find! It's location is down a nondescript street with not much around at first glance (dead at night but bustling during the day) and one street over from the bus station (very walkable in a couple minutes) so views from your windows if high up will just be of the flat expanse of Lampang City with hills in the distance. Along the main road there are many higher end coffee shops so if you walk toward the train station you will find several large hi so frequented establishments. Kad Kong Ta Walking/Street Market is 20-25 minutes walk away - so again, not in the tourist center but certainly very much in real downtown Lampang with it's wide streets which are fun to explore.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located on a small and quiet side street just off the clock tower roundabout. The night market road (Talad Gao Road) is within walking distance, about 1 km away. The bathroom is large and modern, with a good water boiler. Bed and room are perfect. Breakfast can be had at the very good Bluebird restaurant in the park at the clock tower. There is ample parking beneath the building. The owner is very helpful, and even drove me to the bus station. I believe this is the best price/quality option in Lampang.

Nnarasri99Hotels and rooms according to hop inn standards that are intended in the middle of Lampang city, on the main road, convenient to travel, clean rooms, comfortable beds. But the room walls are quite thin, hear the sound from outside, the bathroom is clean, wet and dry parts, free wifi, parking lot, coffee service in the morning at the lobby. Service staff Good, but the building condition and the room condition starts to be damaged. Older condition than Lampang City Center branch

GGuest UserThe homestay is beautiful, located right on the river. In the community area at the river there is coffee, cacao, water or tea, some fruits as well as small snacks, as well as a microwave. We had a room with balcony, better said a covered terrace with some seating facilities, a fan, bar, refrigerator, private microwave and water cooker. The bedroom has air conditioning, double bed, TV and make-up area for the lady. Washing basin is positioned in front of the toilet/douche. Deduction is available because unfortunately there is no full breakfast with what I am at the price of THB 1400. The morning or evening market is not far away, so this ear problem is not a real problem.

The price is not expensive. There is no breakfast service. There is a 500 baht key card deposit. It is in the city. It is quite easy to find. It is convenient to travel. It is near shopping areas. There are general facilities. There is a spacious parking lot.

GGuest UserWe paid 600 bath for 2 persons 2 nights. Cheaper would only be to sleep on the street. For this you enjoy a beautiful view of the riding fields in the morning, because the hotel is something outside, without car you can't get to or away. The next lively street is good 5 minutes with the car, and there is no restaurant in the hotel. For all who don't get away, there are finished dishes in the deep cool that love to warm the hotel. The rooms are simple, but sufficient, breakfast in the pavilion before the hotel also. Puddle coffee for yourself, a small buffet with toast, egg and rice gerechts. Just according to the price. Who comes with a group and has a vehicle with it can stay here very cheaply, otherwise it is rather inappropriate. The friendly lady at the reception, for the rest, spoke as well as no English, but was not a problem for us.

TTW2024Nice hotel and has a large parking lot. Electronic key card and need to use when entering the lift and staircase area. Good aircon. Hot shower water pressure can be weak a bit and back to normal. No problem to me. Almost next to Makro Lampang. BigC is nearby on the other side. Like in most hotels in Thailand, they don’t provide toothbrush set. I bring my own.

NnorafThe location of the hotel is OK, but you need to pay a cash deposit when checking in, the check-out is fast, and the facilities are simple and outdated. As a temporary residence for a quick overnight stay, you don't have to mind it too much.

AAudragon007Yes, the rooms are in need of some refurbishment, but who doesn't love old Thai granite benchtops and super spacious rooms? I was given a 3rd Floor room that even had a separate dressing room. Clean, neat, block-out curtains and an efficient air conditioner made my 5 day stay very pleasant. Breakfast was included and it was fresh and plentiful. Staff even sliced a fresh mango I bought in the markets. But the great thing about the Pin is its location. Being just 200 metres from the famous Saturday and Sunday walking markets in old China Town is a huge plus. Hint: At the main gate, if you turn right and right again, 500 metres down the road is a cafe in the Asia Lampang Hotel, but another 200 metres is an n 8.00 am opening cafe in the car service centre. The best coffee in Lampang. For value-conscious travellers, I recommend Pin.
