For the suite with kitchen, I originally booked a 70-square-meter two-room cottage, but when it came time to tell us that the toilet was broken, we replaced us with a two-bedroom apartment and a studio, not next to each other. Not very happy, so the front desk arranged two adjacent two-bedroom apartments. In fact, we don't need so many rooms, we just want to live in the kind of cabin we booked. But it had no choice but to. Said to be Resort, it is actually the standard of Motel, but the Motel is a little tasteful. It is clean. There are plants and trees in the small yard. It is lovely and comfortable to live, except that the bed is too soft. There are convenience stores, restaurants and fish and chips shops in town when you go out, and you can walk to the beach. I am generally satisfied.
We loved our stay at the Hahei Beach Resort! The room was lovely, complete with a private deck looking onto trees where the birds love to share their joie de vivre. Great beach location, wonderful for swimming and walking, fantastic hike up the hill to the lookout. The resort is like a club - very friendly, with camping facilities and a central area with a burger shop, pizza joint, and bar. The pizzas were amazing!!! Hahei town is an easy walk from the resort. Getting out of Hahei to see other Coromandel Peninsula sites requires a bit of a drive, but I think that keeps the town mellow. We would go back in a heartbeat.
The cabin facilities are good, a double bed and a sofa can be used as a single bed, with a child staying at 20$ per night, the bedding is more comfortable. Equipped with electric heating, kitchen utensils are more convenient, the pocket TV is 14 inches, and there is a small balcony facing the garden. The hotel has convenient parking and convenient transportation. It is 10 minutes drive from the beach and there are restaurants and small supermarkets nearby.

All the time I spent at Tatahi Cove was enjoyable and happy
I liked the friendly owner, warm accommodations, and many delicious restaurants around
If you are planning to visit Hot Water Beach, spend your precious time at Tatahi Cove!
The environment and facilities of this holiday camp are still very good. The kitchen facilities and facilities in the independent villas are complete and the sanitary conditions are very good. The disadvantage is that it is a bit far from the beach. In addition, there is no signal on the mobile phone. The 300M traffic provided for free seems to be used up at once. After that, it is equivalent to being out of contact, unless you purchase traffic again.
We stayed at the Esplanade Apartments for two nights (2 adults, 2 kids). We found everything to be excellent. Room was very clean, service was fantastic- staff were very friendly and helpful, view from our window was spectacular, it was conveniently located above a pub and across the road from an incredible park for the kids. Couldn’t fault it at all. Thanks for our wonderful stay- we were sad to leave but will be back again!
Stayed for 4 nights, Friendly staff and good family room with lots of amenities. great to have NetFlix for the kids to watch at night. Daniel made some excellent recommendations for supper we particularly enjoyed the coffee and curry place. We would definitely stay there again when we are heading back up as across the road to the beach and short walk to shops and restaurants. The only down point was no air con and with the heat at 29 the fans didn't cool the room down enough.
This place is a gem. We could have stayed days if we were able to. Fresh, loved, clean and amazing sea views. If you choose this place for a stay try for a ground floor unit and you will have chosen wisely. Walk to main centre and seafront. Good value for money. Very comfy and friendly staff.

Oceans Resort Whitianga was perfect for a relaxing three-night stay. The apartment, complete with washer/dryer and fully-equipped kitchen, was a welcome change from formal hotels. It was great to be able to casually plan our own meals, and a small grocery store was conveniently located just around the corner. A scenic cruise of Mercury Bay and the Marine Reserve was on our to-do list, and the boat docks were only a short walk down the beach. The Resort Manager and housekeeping staff were incredible. After our first night, there was a problem with the TV in the living room. When the Resort Manager came the next day to assist, she found a potential electrical issue and insisted that we move to a different apartment. After looking at several unoccupied units, we just moved to a similar one right next door. They are independently owned condos, so are naturally all different. Our new apartment was much nicer with better furnishings, tasteful color selections and decor, etc. We certainly appreciated being able to change from Apartment 6 to Apartment 7.
