The place is clean and the service is good. Dining is average, no choice, only one restaurant and no other options nearby.

Extremely beautiful views and such a nice place to have lunch with friends, under the tree, with the birds singing and the waves crashing on the white sandy beach We had a warm welcome at the reception and Varun at the restaurant was the most pleasant, accommodating and provided us with prompt service. If you are looking for a casual place to have lunch, with an incredible view, this is definetely a place to visit La Mariposa is a true little gem

這個酒店硬件普通吧，感覺不值千元RMB。 離商場很近，旁邊一應俱全，周邊的路很好。可以看到印度洋的落日。圖中是我在房間窗口實拍的。 但是有兩個我覺得設計的比較奇葩的點： 1、浴室是部分無遮擋的玻璃設計，在外面的人可以透過玻璃看到裏面淋浴的人，對於帶娃的我，覺得有點尷尬，情侶可以忽略 2、廁所燈浴室燈是關不了的，衹能通過拔房卡斷房間電來實現關燈，很通透不關燈是沒有辦法入睡的。 關於這兩點，我覺得是存在着bug的，我認為應該有解決辦法，所以我兩次都打過電話和reception確認，這兩點酒店都回復所有房間都是一樣的，並不是單個房間的問題。 但是工作人員真是很好，他們幫我們訂車，幫我解決問題，都很熱情友好。

I stayed here two nights whilst doing some business up in the north of the island. The rate was excellent, the staff were very welcoming, room was exceptionally clean, the food was good thanks to a great chef, and all-in-all it was great value for money. Thank you to the team!

As a guest you need to be aware that All Inclusive is not available at this hotel, the choices are limited unless you eat in the buffet Restaurant for every meal, and many drinks are only available if you pay extra. The mini bar only has soft drinks as part of the plan, if you fancy a beer then it comes at a high cost, if you wanted a small bag of crisps then the cost was 190 ru which is around £3 way to high for such a small snack. We did speak to management on a number of occasions and his reply was you was advised of this when you booked, please be aware of this before you book as we don’t want others to feel let down as we did. Ducks and Frogs in the pool is not acceptable especially when you regularly see them pooing in there and yet in all the time we was there wOur friends who we travelled with became ill on their second week and spent the last 5 days in their room or asleep on a sun-lounger as they needed their room cleaned, we did inform the Management team but no one checked up to see how they were, they are awaiting tests on their return as to the cause Lastly as I could go on for a while BUT fighting in the Maree Bar between the barman and a waiter when security had to be called to remove them both is definitely not the 5* experience we expected As customers on a long awaited holiday we felt very let down and disappointed

A small boutique hotel, it might be unnoticeable from the outside, the inside containing 36 rooms with its delightful peacefulness & tranquility in lush tropical gardens. You are made so welcome from all the staff, some have become good friends. We stayed in room 34 for 12 nights, arriving on Monday 9th September. The staff are always so friendly yet professional. Special mention to Oumesh (room Divisional manager), who always greeted us, we spoke on numerous occasions. The concierge team- Micheal, friendly yet professional, gave us great knowledge on the local area & when asked suggested local speciality restaurants. Isaaq, again so friendly & helpful, he would always acknowledge us on seeing us. Also thank you to Jessica & Francesca for all their help. Food & beverage - Lamal, competent, efficient & experienced, knowing our food preferences & allergies, very professional at his job. The restaurant- food is excellent, plates are served with ”Flair”, tasting as good as they look. Special mention to the Patisserie chef, your deserts & afternoon tea gateaux's were the high-light of the kitchen in my opinion. (after tea served daily 4.00 - 5.00pm). Denis, always with a smile & cheerful attitude, made us laugh so much, whilst doing his daily tasks with skill & expertise. Make sure you book in advance the evening Gourmet cruise on Lady Lisbeth Yacht, with exceptional 5-6 course dishes, expertly served at your table by Denis our waiter. If you have a special occasion, Birthday, Anniversary or just a great evening, please note there is only availability for up to 8 persons per cruise, booking is a must. Also special thanks to Lindley Thomen, who took special interest in making our holiday so special, your kindness & great customer service. Nearly forgot Trevor your Water-taxi driver, so thoughtful, helpful & kind, always made our many trips to & forth to Grand Baie so memorable. First of all, the location is very convenient. I was driving by car. I picked up the car at the airport and drove 11 kilometers to the hotel. The hotel is not large, but the sparrows are small and well-organized. The swimming pool, bar, restaurant and garden are fully equipped. It's just that the room decoration is a bit dated. But the novelty is that the location is quite good, the hotel's private beach area connects to the famous attraction Blue Bay. My room is on the ground floor. The balcony door opens to the lower level garden. On the side of the steps, there is a swimming pool. On the other side is the cafeteria, where the exterior is the vast sea. While eating breakfast, I saw a foreigner and old couple snorkeling. At noon, I went diving with excitement. Under the sea are corals and colorful Nemos. Extremely excited. Tip: Be sure to apply sunscreen! Important things to say three times! I was too excited and thought it would be okay for a while. I forgot to apply sunscreen on my back. Tanning is small and sunburn is big! I read other people's reviews before and said that the food was average, but I used his buffet dinner, which is very suitable for my taste. Better than the buffet I used to eat at a hotel in Sri Lanka. The hotel really has few Asian faces.

The Oberoi Mauritius has been by far the best hotel that we have stayed, this comment is made based on traveling across the world and not limited to travels in Mauritius. The staff paid careful attention to satisfying our every need and personal food requests that were happily accommodated by the hotel’s chef. Having fallen ill while traveling, the hotel doctor was readily available for a consult and prescribed medication within a timely manner. The visit to the spa was relaxing and all rooms were well-maintained. The therapist was able to provide treatments on our individual needs. The room was beautifully decorated with a private pool and garden, this meant that we were lucky enough to have our breakfast with a magnificent sea view🌊. Overall a true five star ⭐️ hotel that delivers an exceptional experience to its guests. Well done Oberoi Team⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was just magic. The hotel is beautiful, staff are in small care. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. It was the best hotel in Mauritius for us. I recommend!

After a wonderful 14-day holiday in Mauritius, it was a break. You can only find a low-cost place in the local area to prepare for long-term adherence. The level of the hotel is like home, but with kitchen and living room. The boss is Dutch and fat. The proprietress is a local black man. The two stayed in the hotel. For the first time, they forgot to buy salt for cooking, so they asked them to solve it. The rooms are cleaned twice a week and the facilities are average. The last time I left was at 11pm. I discussed with the boss and checked out at 6pm. I agreed very easily. Oh, there are two very small swimming pools in the hotel. The place is hard to find, there are buses on the road, but I haven't. I tried to go out once on foot. Although this is a good community by local standards, it still feels very deserted, especially at night. Finally rented a car.
