The hotel was very good and the location was also very good. It was very centrally located in relation to shopping opportunities and places to eat. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We had a nice stay and our rooms were very nice. We would like to say a big thank you to the following employees Imran, Imdad, Nufar and Huk, who were very friendly and very helpful. We can definitely recommend this hotel to others and the price is also acceptable

Celebrated my sisters birthday !! As always the staff is friendly !! Thank you avantha and the team for support and making my sisters birthday memorable🌸 we really enjoyed the meal ! Food was very delicious !!! Thank you very much all of you🌸💯
A beautiful building in a very pleasant area of Colombo; the architecture and interior design of the hotel are a joy to behold and the vast majority of staff are polite and courteous. Plenty of amenities nearby to suit all tastes and interests. The breakfasts were great both mornings (both the Sri Lankan breakfast and the Western style), and they really lived up to the high expectations we’d had from the Instagram marketing we’d seen.
We were upgraded to the North West Suite, which was a larger room, for which we were greatly appreciative; a couple of issues with working plugs and appliances (coffee machine and hair dryer) were reported and rectified, although the wiring/plugs more broadly were temperamental and poorly placed (as expected, possibly, with the charm of an older hotel). However, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the bathroom was well appointed.
Our only qualm was with the overzealous Head of Housekeeping, who seemed to not grasp the subtlety required for such a role, or the privacy with which guests might like to enjoy the beautiful hotel. It appeared that he lingered all too often in search of a tip, and didn’t quite appreciate the boundaries one might desire when paying a reasonable fee for each night. My wife and I took to speedily locking the door and placing the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the handle to keep his incessant interrupting to a minimum. His deputy was, however, an asset to the hotel, who seemed to comprehend the subtle art of providing high quality service for a luxury stay in a lovely hotel.
All-in-all, a great choice for a hotel in the heart of Colombo, and hopefully, during a busier season, the aforementioned Head of Housekeeping might spread his overbearing attention across the many rooms of the hotel.

I have been staying at Renuka City Hotel from year 2007. Most of my stay at Colombo has been at Renuka City Hotel . This is value for money hotel located on Galle Road. Most of the other hotels in Galle Road are luxurious hotels, Renuka City Hotel has two blocks with rooms in the new block being more new and spacious. The old block houses rooms which are cramped with little space to move around, the bathroom and shower area are bit tiny. However the beds are comfortable, the bathroom functional. There is small desk to work, Wifi is decent. There is a swimming pool and small gym too. Aircon is of the old style and the air flow does not get controlled even if you regulate the temperature in the thermostat. The positioning of the aircon vents in some rooms directly hit your bed while in some rooms it is in the corner. So either you are getting too old air directly on to your bed or the room lacks sufficient airflow depending upon how the aircon vent is positioned. Clearly the rooms in old wing is showing signs of wear and tear. As this hotel is on the main Galle Road, the rooms facing the main road will encounter good amount of noise coming thru your room from the road specially during the day ( of vehicles passing by ) The room windows are not sound proof. For a light sleeper it's best to choose the rooms not facing the main road. The staff at the hotel are helpful and accommodative. The check in desk is small and managed by 1-2 person, so you might need to wait a little longer if there are more guest checking in at same time. Their in- house restaurant ”Palmyrah” is must visit if you want to experience traditional srilankan food. The restaurant is welcoming with choice of Srilankan Cuisine, Indian and Continental. The food is equally tasty though a little pricey. Overall a decent, safe, clean and neat hotel for short stay in Colombo.
Colombo Court is a smart, stylish hotel in a good spot in the city. Our room was spacious and comfortable. If staying again, we would ask for a quiet room further away from the road as there was some traffic noise. There was an excellent choice of breakfasts and we enjoyed our Sri Lankan breakfast selection. We also ate in the rooftop restaurant which was also very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The wifi/internet was ok although there was a tendency for phones to drop off the network as we moved around the building.
With a stay at Rococo Residence, you'll be centrally located in Colombo, within a 10-minute walk of Liberty Plaza and Nawaloka Hospital. This aparthotel is 0.9 mi (1.4 km) from United States Embassy Colombo and 0.9 mi (1.5 km) from High Commission of India.
Take in the views from a terrace and a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access. Getting to nearby attractions is a breeze with the area shuttle (surcharge).
Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, or stay in and take advantage of the aparthotel's room service (during limited hours). Continental breakfasts are available daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM for a fee.
Featured amenities include complimentary wired internet access, a 24-hour business center, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 9 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchens with refrigerators and ovens. Rooms have private balconies or patios. Wired and wireless internet access is complimentary, and flat-screen televisions with satellite programming provide entertainment. Conveniences include safes and desks, and housekeeping is provided daily.
The Western breakfast was great. I could eat it every day. The room was clean, but there was a problem with the door lock design. After entering the room, I had to use a mobile phone to light and light to lock the door! Very inconvenient! The room was very noisy on the street the first night, it was much better to change into it later!
It was booked for a family of three. It was a triple deluxe family room. Rooms are ok with one double and one single bed. They provide a kettle with a limited supply of sugar and tea. Water bottles provided are of 500 ml instead of one litre. Sri lanka is hot and if one requires more water, you have to go yourself with a jug to fetch water from the dining area! food options are ok and limited for breakfast. The hotel lacks professional behaviour. It is good if one wants to spend a night.
This is a small hotel that amazes me, an old villa remodeled. I am looking at the delicious Japanese restaurant in the Trip.com user reviews. I decisively chose to stay because Sri Lanka is very tired. The best choice is that there are delicious foods near the hotel. I don't need to charter a car to return to the hotel and go out to find food. Stayed for a few days, the hotel itself was opened by the Japanese, the management was very good, the staff was very high, polite, punctual, and helped me return the hand left in the restaurant to the room. The passport cash inside was complete. There are not so many choices of Japanese food, but the quality is very good! The hotel is spotless, it is recommended to install an exhaust fan in the toilet, and a self-service laundry room is perfect.

MMD AZNIThe staff name Shukri at front desk should'nt become a front desk officer. No respect to customer, very bad body languange, voice tone so rude when speaking to guest, not only toward me. Most concierge staff far much better customer service rather then this particular front desk officer. Overall stay was good except that particular staff attitude.

GGuest UserEverything was excellent. Very good buffet for breakfast. Nice pool on the roof with gym and coctail bar. My room is on 24 floor has a fantastic view on the green lake, skyscrapers and a port of Galle face green. The room was always clean and fully equiped - much thanks for housekeeping to Dhananjaya!

Tteja vijayWe loved our little stay at Mandarina. However, the food (buffet breakfast) was below average. Service was snail paced, perhaps only for us.
Pros:
Location
Cleanliness
Cons:
Food
Delayed service
BBeeshman BahiradanGreat location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean and stylish. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for our first two nights in Sri Lanka. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful and gave us great service. Room service was devine and we were hooked on the locally made kottu . Dinner and breakfast the next day was also very good with a variety of foods to choose.
GGuest UserGood location, management needs to be systematized, guests have checked in, there is a problem with the room circuit, it took quite some time to repair
GGuest UserThe highest score of the hotel is related to the friendly and responsible behavior of the hotel staff. Our room did not have a refrigerator, and when it rained, water would seep into the room through the hatch. In general, the room was like a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star. The food was a bit spicy for our taste but almost acceptable. The quality of the breakfast was good. The pool on the upper floor is very small and almost unusable.

GGuest UserDined here yesterday at their restaurant, opted for Chinese - fried rice, deviled pork, Thai pork, batter fish and hot mushrooms. The food was great , service, very attentive - the staff made us feel special. Definitely value for money. Highly recommended!
「「taozi」Overall, it was okay, but things were a little slow. I had to wait for an hour to check in. The WiFi was sent by the housekeeper after contacting Ctrip customer service. There are basically no people in the area who speak Chinese.
The hotel has a swimming pool, breakfast is included, you can see the beach, and the train passes by at 5 o'clock in the morning. In terms of value for money, it's pretty good.
Go out to the main road, about 600 meters away, and then on the right, there is a supermarket and KFC
