This property is gorgeous with the old world charm and the food and cocktails are amazing too . But above all, they ace in hospitality. The staff , right from GM to everyone else are so warm, courteous and helpful and they go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable.I had a ligament tear in my ankle while in Srilanka and be it GM Mr. Siddique , Mr. Emmanuel, the bell boy Mr. Sujith, and the rest of the staff , they were all so supportive and caring that I was totally moved by the way they took care of me. Strongly recommend this place with its beautiful people to all and I will surely be staying here again when I visit Srilanka

Best Hotel , Best Location and Best service ever we experienced in the stay. buffet Breakfast and a buffet dinner is Amazingly Delicious very wide spread all continental, local, Chinese cuisines.

This is a small hotel that amazes me, an old villa remodeled. I am looking at the delicious Japanese restaurant in the Trip.com user reviews. I decisively chose to stay because Sri Lanka is very tired. The best choice is that there are delicious foods near the hotel. I don't need to charter a car to return to the hotel and go out to find food. Stayed for a few days, the hotel itself was opened by the Japanese, the management was very good, the staff was very high, polite, punctual, and helped me return the hand left in the restaurant to the room. The passport cash inside was complete. There are not so many choices of Japanese food, but the quality is very good! The hotel is spotless, it is recommended to install an exhaust fan in the toilet, and a self-service laundry room is perfect.

Now talking about the disadvantages, the power supply in the room is very unreasonable, you need to use a large plug-in board (provided by the hotel), the bedding is too old, the bed is a bit collapsed, and it will ring when it turns over! And the most unbearable are crows and mosquitoes! Too many mosquitoes. I was awakened in the middle of the night and asked for mosquito coils at the front desk. Eating breakfast is more scary. Sitting in the house is too dim. Sitting outside and biting mosquitoes to coax the crow! Hurry up for breakfast and each person was bitten by five or six bales! Still sprayed with insect repellent! The crow fell on the back of his chair twice! Experience the worst breakfast ever! The hotel restaurant and lounge are very beautiful, it is recommended to have a drink and take a picture, not recommended if staying

I felt very happy. The entrance of the hotel is the track of the Miyazaki small train, and it is facing the sea. We originally set two double rooms, and then the hotel upgraded the room for us. It happened that my room was a very large floor-to-ceiling window. The curtains were opened to the sea. It was really perfect. The hotel was a little bit ahead of the train station. You can take a small train. Taking the small train forward is a beach 🏖️, we also found it by accident, and we also had a perfect sunset 🌇, in short, it was really a great experience, it was a city that I wanted to go to, I will come again, look forward to the next meeting!

My short trip to Colombo is not compete without stopping by Fairview Hotel for their signature Nilaveli Lagoon Crab Curry + Roast Pan dish. The visit is as iconic as visiting a national monument 😂 Under the careful watch of Mr.Siva and his brilliant team, it was once again a memorable feasting experience as my last one in Feb 2020. As an apprehensive traveller on arrival I just wasn’t sure about this hotel. However, as soon as we were greeted by Sharosh all my fears disappeared. He was so welcoming, attentive and his customer service was just great. I am type 1 diabetic and needed to make sure my medication was kept safe and chilled. He totally looked after me, which made me immediately relax so I could enjoy the start of my three week trip to Sri Lanka. This first experience gave me a great start to this adventure. Thank you Sharosh. Then the room. OMG, stunning! Had the biggest bath in the world. Just to note, make sure you wear mosquito spray (like anywhere in Sri Lanka) the enjoyed breakfast on my legs that morning - my fault for not wearing any!
