"The plus side is that it's next to the pier where you depart for Rabbit Island. Breakfasts at the hotel are sometimes ordered individually from their menu, and other times they prepare a buffet. The food is so-so, and the drinks aren't great. They speak English very poorly. The hotel itself is clean, but it's next to a residential area and the roosters crow. After 8 PM, it's quiet and nothing is open around there. There's a pool, and it feels secluded and hidden from everyone. The rooms are spacious. We wouldn't go there a second time…"

"I think the service was excellent. the Staff were very friendly. The pool is massive and so beautiful. My friend and I stayed in the mountain view room, but there is a resort behind this resort, so there was music in afternoon so couldn't nap and also a rooster too which woke us up every morning. Kep beach is a 20min walk, so it's suggested to get a tuk tuk for 2 dollars. The onsite restaurant and Bar was perfect too. Our room bathroom isn't 100% concealed as there was a blind, also our bathroom door squeeked noises so when my friend and i used the bathroom it was noisy. "

"1. The hotel is clean and sanitary, and the service attitude is good. Many rooms are basically fully booked. The first floor is a bit damp, and the upper floors are better. 2. Ctrip published false information, marking that there is a kitchen, but none of the hotel's room types have one, and the hotel manager also showed us the situation they published. It is unclear why Ctrip misled us. Therefore, the seafood bought from the crab market cannot be processed, which is very deceptive. 3. Ctrip's room types with different prices are actually the same room after verification with the hotel. The area and room types are the same. One shows breakfast for 3 people, and the other shows 2 people. My order is for 3 people, but there are actually only 2 people and the hotel has never had information about breakfast for 3 people. 4. Due to the false information published by Ctrip, check-in was inconvenient and I could only check out one day in advance. Ctrip claimed that I could not check out, and the hotel disagreed, but I was at the front desk at the time. The hotel fully agreed, and did not receive the order payment, so the money was withheld by Ctrip and had nothing to do with the hotel. Finally, after feedback, it agreed to refund and claimed to return a symbolic red envelope of 36 yuan as compensation, which has not yet been received."

The location of the hotel is just perfect—beautiful views and close to everything you’d want to explore in Kep. One of the best parts is its proximity to Kep National Park—I even went for a run there, and the trails were incredible, with breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Whether we were enjoying a peaceful morning or winding down after a day of adventures, the view never got old. The breakfast at the hotel was another highlight. The variety and quality were outstanding, and it was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore. Overall, Vakara Kep offered a memorable stay with excellent service, stunning views, and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend getaway, with the added bonus of being so close to the beauty of Kep National Park!"

"Saravoan has the best location in Kep, overlooking a great little beach with excellent views of the islands,we have been staying there for holidays every year for the last nine years in which time a few managers have come and gone, the amenities have not changed much but quiet rustic and suit the rainforest environment,they now serve a free breakfast which this time was very good, service was as usual pretty good, sometimes requires patience but they are always helpful,to reception is poor and always has been but wifi is fine,pool is still clean and in great spot with views, moto rents are cheap and it’s a lovely ride to the crab market around the foreshore about one kilometre away, there are plenty of fancier hotels in Kep now but if you like location, views,close restaurants and reasonable service this one is the best hands down!"
