Stayed with travel support. One night with two meals. For dinner, choose a sashimi set meal or a tempura set meal, and choose the cheapest course where the room is left to you. Both the building and facilities are old and dilapidated. The room I was guided to was a Japanese-style room of 8 tatami mats, with a verandah and a front room of about 3 tatami mats. It is very comfortable except that the building is old with individual air conditioning, lighting with remote control, and a toilet with a warm water washing toilet seat. Too big for two people. The windows face the opposite direction of Sanbe, so you can see the setting sun beautifully. A system where employees lay out the futon while you eat. The hot spring facility is old and there is no partition in the washing area. The temperature of the water is high and the quality of the water is so acidic that my hands get so rough after bathing that I apply hand cream. It is not a hot spring facility where you can enjoy a relaxing bath. It seems that it was almost full due to travel support, and group guests seemed to have dinner in a large hall. We, individual guests, were led to a table with the room number indicated in the dining room, where the dishes were placed in advance. In order to handle the number of travel supporters who have increased at once with the staff who have been minimized due to the corona disaster, it is inevitable that the food is prepared in advance. Two women and one young man are moving vigorously. Well, it's unreasonable to expect a lot of food in such a facility, but I was satisfied with the dinner, which included warm dishes that looked good for the price. We used it as an inn after climbing Mt. Although it is comfortable, the buildings and facilities are aging, and there are no recreational facilities nearby. If you use it as a base for mountain climbing, Shimane Prefectural Sanbe Nature Museum Sahimer, or nearby hiking, it will be very useful.

It is my pleasure to add another praise to the Ryokan. They claimed not to speak English but in fact they did, even had somebody speaking it fluently : he became our “friend” ! As we travelled by public transport they came to pick us up at the station and dropped us when we continued our trip. On our second day we took a bus to the Silver Mine and walked back, and as it started raining half way we were soaking wet upon arrival. We were welcomed with towels and our shoes and coats taken away to dry. We got them back next morning, the shoes comfy dry and still warm. Thank you so much

Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine
Ffyqj1234On the way from Hiroshima to Izumo, I didn't think about going to Iwami Ginzan, but I couldn't stand the advertisements on the road signs along the way. Finally, I couldn't help but turn in when I saw the intersection. Rather than calling it a silver mine, it is better to say it is an exhibition hall, which is still quite a distance away from the real silver mine tunnel.
After buying a ticket, you can enter the visit. It mainly introduces the history and causes of Iwami Ginzan, as well as the mining situation over the years. You can also experience the production process of the ash blowing method. The exhibition is very thoughtful, but the road here is small and basically no one comes to visit.
Iwami Ginzan is an important silver mine in Japan. It can be compared with the gold mine in Sado. This is a household name in Japan, and silver is Japan's main export product. Of course, the destination is obvious. The prosperity of the Mori family who occupied this place is also inseparable from the mineral resources, especially after the invention of the ash blowing method, the silver mine output increased significantly, which guaranteed the economic development of the Edo Shogunate.
The tunnel of Yinshan is several kilometers long and has been dug into several different layers. A model has been made here. Overall, I feel that it is very useful to come here. It is worth the trip.
Mt. Sanbe
MM32***23Autumn leaves 🍁The weather was nice, so I went there briefly. I saw a place on Ctrip where I could take the water down and take off my shoes to get into the river because of the typhoon, but when I went there, there was a simple bridge to pull the water. Even so, there were still some places where there was a lot of water in the tributaries. The first half was like an adventure. I was disappointed that I couldn't leave unless I had the right equipment. In the second half, I felt like I was riding a trolley bus, and the autumn leaves and water flow were beautiful, and I was soothed. Next time I want to visit in the fresh green season.
Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Center
Ffyqj1234I had no intention of coming to Iwami Ginzan at all. Although this attraction is on the way from Hiroshima to Izumo, I couldn't stand the various advertisements along the way. I always felt that it would be unreasonable not to come here once, so I couldn't help but turn in. This is actually an exhibition hall of Ginzan. It is quite a distance away from the Ginzan tunnel, which is another attraction.
Enter from the main gate and buy a ticket to visit. The ticket fee is not cheap. It mainly introduces the history of Iwami Ginzan, the mining situation over the years, and various popular science and experience. For people who are familiar with this history, it doesn't matter. Although the exhibition is very thoughtful, I always feel that there is a sense of déjà vu of a village-run attraction.
In general, although it was unexpected, it didn't feel too wasteful. If you have time, you can really come and see it once to see the strength of their promotion. This is also an unexpected gain in the trip.
