The nearest station is JR Nagato Yumoto Station on the Mikasa Line, but if you walk from there, you feel a little far away. This time, I took the bus to Shimonoseki by Sanden Transport Semi Express from the west exit of Nagato City Station on the JR Sanin Line and got off at the entrance of Nagato Onsen. The hotel is right across the left hand. (If you contact the hotel side in advance, it is said that the transfer bus will come. However, the station building is old and the hand washing at the station is difficult to say clean, so please be careful for women) The room I stayed in is ”away Nishi Kyo Tei”. It was the upper floor of the same building, but even on a day when there were many groups, the room was quiet and I could taste the atmosphere of staying in ”away”. The room was 10 tatami mats, and the room I stayed this time had a subsequent 6 tatami mats room. This room is a room where the river is not flowing (perhaps westward), so I think that even if you are worried about such sounds when you are sleeping, you can sleep well. There is an elevator to the public bath. Because it can be said to be ”only for guests in Nishi Kyo Tei”, I felt that it was easy to use a large bath and an open-air bath. ”Apart from Nishi Kyo Tei” Merritt is ”room food”. The specific dinner start time can be consulted with Nakai, so I was able to prepare it from the front of 6 p.m. The dish was made to ”the two person seat plan to enjoy all 19 kinds in the share style”. The dishes were delicious, but there were six kinds of dishes that ignite solid fuel and warm them. This is hard to eat. It may be good if two people line up during the meal, but if not, I recommend other course dishes. I think that there is an improvement point of this hotel because I have to call Nakai and others when I lower additional orders and dishes such as sake. However, in other words, it is not a meal in a place like a banquet hall, so you can enjoy the peace and peace only by the group traveling together. The bowling and humanity dramas of the night were fun, but if you want to enjoy in groups such as women's travel and three generations of travel with children, ”remove Nishikyotei” is recommended. It is also necessary to make an offer from here to put a futon. The towels necessary for bathing can be rented for free at the entrance of the public bath, so you don't have to take them from the room, and it is good to borrow clean towels every time you want to use a bath several times.
This place was clean and neat and the meals were delicious. The staff was very kind and attentive. The bathroom was nice, the lobby was nice. The bed was a little stiff for American tastes but more comfortable than most here in Japan. This place had its own chic style that I appreciated. They went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs.
WOW! This was the first Ryokan Onsen that I stayed in and I was blown away by the lodging, the amazing staff, and the food. I say lodging because my ryokan has as much square footage as my home—a balcony, an outdoor onsen, shower and changing area, two separate toilet rooms, an open configurable area with kitchen, dining area, living room area, and sleeping area. They provided a yukata and a cloth purse that I wore for meals in the restaurant, and pajamas for relaxing in the accommodations. Every corner of the room and the ryokan was thoughtfully decorated—flower arrangements, ceramics, pictures, and so on. Happy hour each evening was a relaxing affair in the low-key bar area. Our tuxedo-clad host was efficient and friendly. Guests have a choice of ”American” or Japanese breakfast. I tried each. ”American” breakfast is much different from what we'd have in the USA, but you won't get the tasty Umeboshi plum or Japanese pickles provided with the Japanese breakfast. I found that both choices were far too much for me. On two days I opted instead to get a pastry from the bake shop and eat in my room. The kaiseki was fabulous. I was with a group (10 total) so we dined in our own room each night. Each night had a different menu. If you want to get an idea of what the experience was like, see the photos I posted for each of the kaiseki courses we had on the first night. Thanks to Head Chef Junichi Takeda for the wonderful meals and to Otani-san for being such a gracious and wonderful host.

I am satisfied with the bath, the food, and the staff. I use it after traveling to Nagato and watching Kabuki. The bath is soothing and the scenery overlooking Yuya Bay is soothing. I think it's good to be alive during the sunset time. I won't let you down on the food. However, in the past, there was a local dish boiled cousin, but it is a pity that it is not now. It bothers me every few months.
The hot springs were comfortable and the food was delicious.
It was a pity that the open-air bath was too hot and I couldn't take it for a long time. I was able to spend a quiet time slowly and get rid of my daily fatigue. I would like to see you again.
Founded 80 years ago and most established hotel in Yumoto onsen. Located at the city center and buildings are seven stories. Our sea food cuisine from the Nippon Sea of Japan is pleased by the guests. Hospitality with smile is our motto.
Style. Traditional hotel, a bit dated Setting. Japan countryside off the beaten path 2 hours from Fukuoka airport Explore. Motonosumi Inari Shrine. Akiyoshido cave. @ the hotel. Hotel first built 1881 on site of a hot spring discovered by a monk 600 years ago. Open air baths with high alkaline. Spa treatments. Hotel hosted a summit with Shinzo Abe and Putin in 2016. Rooms. Various room options, I chose a 900’ corner room surrounded by nature with a stunning view of the Otozure river on one side & the mountain on the other side. Room had tatami mats & futon beds. Bathroom came with a jacuzzi that you can just soak in while enjoying the views. Toilet room very dated with an ugly urinal in it. Food & drinks. Multiple dining options. I had kaiseki dinner which included wagyu, Yamaguchi seafood i.e. fugu blowfish, abalone etc at Zuiun, & breakfast at Unyu Prices. Good value at US$556 for room & meals to feed two, especially since back in Hong Kong, a kaiseki dinner will easily cost $350 per person Rating. 4/5
The room is functional and the Japanese breakfast and dinner are excellent.
The hot spring has multiple special pools, but the hot spring water is not hot enough. It would be better if there is a vending machine selling frozen milk outside the hot spring door.
It was very useful as there are hardly any business hotels in the area. There seem to be a lot of bad reviews, but I think it's a normal hotel. The rooms are clean with wooden floors, so they seem to have been renovated, and the wooden shelves are convenient. The amenities are also normal. There is no bathtub in the bathroom, only a shower, but that's like Korea, so it's fine. It's a normal business hotel. The staff are aging, but I guess that can't be helped in the countryside. They are slow, but they are willing to help you with anything. It's close to the station, so it's easy to access, and there is plenty of parking for cars. It is eligible for nationwide travel support.
Hotel Nagato Harada provides flawless service and all the necessary facilities for visitors. Stay connected with your associates, as complimentary Wi-Fi is available during your entire visit. When arriving by car, you'll be grateful for the on-site complimentary parking at hotel.

Motonosumi Inari Shrine
摆摆渡修行Yuan Naishi Shrine at Yamaguchi. When it arrived, it rained, and my friend said a little depressed, it rained. We comforted him: "It's okay! The shrine on rainy days looks more solemn, magnificent, beautiful!" So everyone happily went to the pavilion to hide from the rain, imagining the scenery on a sunny day. It is said that when the weather is good, the waves will shoot the shore, and the shore will roll up the rainbow, which is very beautiful. When I got home, I returned the big camera to my friends. I was a little depressed. The big camera really still needed a real photographer to use it. In my hand, I just took a bunch of more high-definition garbage. "Not even on the focus. " The friend touched the lens: "It is the screw loose! Tighten it to focus on the focus! And, how mushy atmosphere! Good-looking! Look at this! "

CChenhutamuChangmen is in Yamaguchi Prefecture, the historically famous location of Changzhou. Qinghai Island is not far from the coast, you can take a tour boat around the island. When the sea is not good, the boat is still a bit bumpy, but the scenery is quite good.
