The hotel is very close to the Kyushu Shinkansen ”Building the boat cabin” station, about a quarter of an hour walk. When we arrived, it was dark. I understand the concept. The worst thing is that it's just cold!! That's all there is to it. I kept my coat on in the room. There were three of us staying, so two of us were in bed and one was in the living room(?) on a futon, but this living room was even colder because there was no partition between the entrance and the hallway. I had to keep the bath open and keep the water running. It might have been a little better. The other thing was that the repairs and furniture looked too cheap. It would have been better if they had asked someone with more taste to do the interior! It's a shame. The food was neither good nor bad. I think it would have been better to have a hot pot or something in the winter. The baths in the evening and late at night are nice. The small baths in business hotels are sad. Also, I'm happy that breakfast is free. I'll go again.

Public transportation is inconvenient, it is recommended to drive by car, there are many hot springs nearby to choose from, the proprietress is very enthusiastic and proficient in Chinese, will carefully recommend the surrounding attractions 👍🏻

I came to Kyushu at the end of the year and the beginning of the year and looked for a hotel near Fukuoka Tenjin to go to Dazaifu on New Year's Day, but I was here because it was expensive and Yanagawa was cheaper than Tenjin, and the train flight was good. １ night ８３００ yen was cheaper than the center of Fukuoka, and it was convenient for sightseeing within １ hours by train for the distance to go to Dazaifu the next day. It is a few minutes walk from the station to the hotel (the opposite direction to the shuttle bus stop down the boat). The room was also very good for the price.
