The most hospitable place ever!! We did not stay overnight but had a coffee and everyone who looked after us were so polite! It is also super close to the train station and so convenient to access the city centre. About a 10 minute walk from the gardens! Thank you, would definitely recommend!!

We just spent 2 days at the Hotel Royal Victoria and it was fantastic! Hotel has a great location in the square in Varenna with our room overlooking beautiful Lake Como! The staff of the hotel were so friendly and helpful. From Marco, the concierge, who made us a dinner reservation and arranged drivers for us, to Aziz the bartender who made great drinks with a friendly smile to the front desk staff who were very friendly and efficient, everyone at the hotel was great! Our room was clean and bed comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony looking out at the Lake. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Como and hope to return some day!

This hotel is located on the edge of Lake Como, in the center of Sorrento, an old villa, a few steps away from the town center church and the bell tower.
The town is not big, but it is very beautiful. It is built near Lake Como. There is a mountain next to it. There is a castle on the mountain. It takes half a day to walk around the whole town. You can climb the castle to overlook the scenery of Lake Como.
Environment: The environment is really super beautiful, the window is Lake Como, and the left turn is the center of the town. It is very convenient to eat.
Hygienic: The bathroom is in good condition, there is a shower room, the floor tiles are very artistic, the bedding is good, and the bed is super big.
Facilities: The room above the castle is a loft, and the restaurant is downstairs. The waiter prepares breakfast in the morning is a bit noisy. The facilities are relatively old and the sound insulation effect is average.

This is my 2 nd visit to this fabulous hotel this yr and my 2 nd review . One is greeted on arrival by the very charming Guest relations manager Frederica who escorts you to your room and answers any queries you may have . The staff treat you like a member of the Serbelloni family . And that’s what this hotel is … an extension of the Bucher family since 1918. Such longevity is so rarely found today . The facilities are outstanding whether it be the pool , fitness centre , breakfast room and 2 restaurants. Mistral in particular under the care of Luca is outstanding. And then there is the private garden and a view to die for … but not yet !

We just spent 2 days at the Hotel Royal Victoria and it was fantastic! Hotel has a great location in the square in Varenna with our room overlooking beautiful Lake Como! The staff of the hotel were so friendly and helpful. From Marco, the concierge, who made us a dinner reservation and arranged drivers for us, to Aziz the bartender who made great drinks with a friendly smile to the front desk staff who were very friendly and efficient, everyone at the hotel was great! Our room was clean and bed comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony looking out at the Lake. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Como and hope to return some day!

The most hospitable place ever!! We did not stay overnight but had a coffee and everyone who looked after us were so polite! It is also super close to the train station and so convenient to access the city centre. About a 10 minute walk from the gardens! Thank you, would definitely recommend!!
