This family-owned hotel is not glamorous but is nicely furnished with spotless, well maintained rooms. Bed linens are nice with comforters matching the draperies, tall windows that give an air of spaciousness. Our room opened onto the paved courtyard which is gated to the street. Bath towels are generously sized and the bathroom was also spotless. This was not a large room (we had a twin) but it had a built in luggage rack, desk, tall wardrobe and also hooks on the wall for coats. NIghtstands with sconces over them were by each bed. The family work hard to meet requests and make guests comfortable. Restaurant portions are generous; we found we could not hold a primi and a secondi as the pastas and risottos were so ample. The restaurant uses good quality ingredients and does not attempt things they cannot handle so while the meals are comforting and delicious they are good basic “mama” cooking. I am a tough “grader” so gave it a four because it is not grand but it is very comfortable and very, very reasonable. It is a five for value.
We stayed here our last night in Italy to be close to the airport and make the next morning as easy as possible. This place was great. You just call the shuttle to pick you up when you need and schedule your time to take it on the return trip when you check in. Nice breakfast offering, and there’s a good restaurant open on the corner for a late dinner. The night we stayed (Wednesday) they were open until 10:30. Would definitely recommend for the value. Very affordable and the staff were very friendly. Clean rooms and good water pressure.
A civilized haven after an awful experience. A stylish, welcoming and luxurious hotel despite check in receptionist being rather abrupt and aloof. Room very comfortable but air con too hot for us UK people..it is as hot at night as we get in summer during the day ! I was eventually assisted to get to the Arctic temperature of 16.5 ! Meal in restaurant was very good, service especially ! Lady serving in the bar was amazing...a real asset to the company ! A professional, someone who can speak to everyone, have fun and keep everyone happy..a real gem ! I will definitely stay here again, it was a real pleasure.

The staff are super nice. The location is so convenient for travellers.. its about 35 drive to Lugano. There are free shuttle to airport but you need to check the time in advance. We have ordered seafood pasta from the hotel restaurant . Its super delicious.
Idea Hotel Milano Malpensa Airport offers a convenient location close to the airport, perfect for short stays or early flights. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you need. The breakfast buffet is decent, though the variety could be improved. The shuttle service to the airport is a great added benefit, though it can get busy during peak hours. Overall, it's a practical choice for travelers seeking convenience and value.
The hotel only have lift in middle section and room at the ends (which is what I get) is very far away. After you go to the end side you have no motivation to go out anymore. People with big heavy luggage might have to ask for room closer to lift.
No view outside you only see the car park below. The room looks like there’s fight in it before… lots of cupboards have chips and looks old. See photo for one of the better one.
Room is clean and although have bathtub I just cannot get water to fill up (no idea how to let the drain hole close up, no instructions)
Water is super hot even though I just move to the hot side a little so need to be careful.
Check in and out counters are not clearly label so you need to ask and see where ppl are.
Beside location as I am flying off from T1 I really don’t think this is worth the price.
I chose the Moxy for a one-night stay because of its proximity to Milan Malpensa Airport. I reached the hotel very late, around 10:00 PM, but the staff was welcoming and efficient and checked me in quickly. Highly recommend it for those who have an early flight.
Truely lovely brand new hotel, very close to the airport
A genuinely modern and classy design and vibe in this hotel. It would be a great hotel for central Milan!! Previous reviews are correct. Walking to the airport isn't possible as the only route is along the highway. But the hotel provides shuttle service for a small fee. We stayed here due to a super early morning flight. Was perfect for this, though in hindsight, it wasn't necessary. It would have been just as easy to train from the city centre.
The hotels are located in 3, 4 minutes by car. Walking with luggage will not work, as there is no path-sidewalk to the hotel, this is a road.
There is a transfer, the cost is 2.5 euros, the transfer is available on a call at the hotel upon arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport

Exit number 10 is designated shuttle bus and is located at the end of the airport.
The hotel strikes the territory a beautiful building is a villa, friendly staff, the driver helped with the luggage.
The rooms have everything you need: - shampoo gel, white clean towels, a comfortable bed, the room is designed in a classic style. Breakfast is served at the hotel from 5 to 10 am!
There is a swimming pool you can spend time relaxing before your flight.
The hotel is quiet and comfortable. I recommend it for a stopover between flights.
Our flight was overbooked and we had to stay in a hotel near by. The hotel staff were excellent, after a very stressful four hours of not being able to board a plane, waiting for our bags to return and having zero communication from the flight company, we needed good people. The staff had held the kitchen for us so we had some food. They recommended ways to get to a different airport so we could get home earlier. Amazing people, very friendly, accommodating and helpful, thank you 🙏
