The hotel is designed and transformed on the basis of traditional houses, with simple and stylish supporting facilities, and a rare boutique hotel in the city. The best part is that there is a stepped well next to the hotel, which is relatively clean and not as big as the ”famous” moon well under Amber Fort.

Our experience say, The Taj is always best. Ummed Bhavan property is excellent. Maintained very well. All staff were fantastic, obedient and helpful. Chef Shobhit Mathur was personally asking everyone about food. Karan was extremely helpful. He was always on his toes for giving services. Aman is also young and very enthusiastic and energetic. Aryan and Swaroop were best, they were always ready to give services in the restaurant and helping us to click our best moments on our cameras in the restaurants and in the hotel lobbies. Nishu, Alka, Malvika, Raj Nandini, Uday, Jaswant were best at the receptions at front desk. They welcomed everyone with warm hearted. Overall experience was great. Every single minute was very special and enjoyable. Thank you TATA’s for giving us such a great experience.

A hotel with an old-fashioned aristocratic fan, the hotel environment is quiet, the service staff is warm and courteous, the room facilities are a bit old-fashioned, foreign tourists are mostly not from India. Breakfast can be ordered a la carte, overall I feel the hotel location is a bit biased, fortunately, taxi is convenient.

The room is quite big and quite distinctive. At the time of check-out, a waiter came to carry the baggage and check the room. In front of me, I ordered every item I spent, and then asked me to go out and lock the door. The hotel in front of the hotel in India was very good. That is, this operation made me drunk. Also, there is a waiter who picks up the station, can't speak English, we find him, he also confirms to confirm, big night, really pretty SB, hehe. There are a lot of people practicing yoga at 7:00 in the morning.

Family from Fiji Islands, stayed for 3 nights 04/01/24- 07/01/24. The family room provided was very neat and well organised, kids loved it said being like home. Food was very authentic veg meals, breakfast exceptional, served hot. Staff were excellent and very friendly, helpful and loving. Requested for extra bed for kids and 2 beds was provided which kids loved it as they had their each separate beds.

The haveli is actually a homestay managed by a lovely couple. The property is lovely, very well kept and managed. It's located in the old city, so some amount of small dirty roads to traverse, but not too much. I cannot overstate the advantages of staying in the old city. Most attractions are within walking distance be it the ghanta ghar, mehenrangarh fort, main shopping area and loads of street food! So location is definitely a BIG plus! The rooms that we got were very very comfortable, simply decorated and modernized. My mum had leg pain due to arthritis and they were very kind to give us a room on the ground floor. However, they have their dining room on the 3rd floor, for which she had to climb. They did offer to deliver the food to her room, so that option exists too. Also, they are doing some renovations to include some more rooms and a lift facility. The food is simply delicious! Simple typical home cooked indian meals that are satisfying. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had absolutely no complaints. The view from their terrace is gorgeous!! Definitely recommend staying here.

GGuest UserDO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. WORST EVER EXPERIENCE WITH STAFF & MANAGEMENT of this HOTEL. I had booked two Superior Class Rooms in this Hotel for my family(incl. Sr. Citizen Parents, 1.5 and 5 year old kids) through Goibibo website on 9th Nov, 2023 and got booking confirmation on same day. Duration of Stay was between 28th & 29th Nov. I was travelling from Jaipur to Jodhpur on 28th Nov and I called to this Hotel at around 12:30 PM to inform that I am travelling and will check in late evening and the receptionist said OK. We reached at Hotel Reception around 8:30 PM in and told receptionist about my booking, he said rooms will be ready in 10 minutes and asked us to wait. After few minutes, another staff member came there and he informed us that due to some electricity issue rooms are not available at their Hotel and they have made rooms available at another Hotel(Named as Megh Niwas or Clarks Inn) which is 1 to 1.5 km away. We then moved to that Hotel with Staff but noticed that Hotel was located in very small lanes and which was 3 km away and not on highway location like City Square. The Manager of Citi Square By Keymagic Hotel was already present at that other Hotel. He told us that due to some Technical Issues they are shifting all their guest to this Hotel which is Heritage Property and Rooms are of similar or higher category than those booked by me in their Hotel. After looking at the rooms in this Hotel, I felt that we are cheated by Staffs of City Square. Rooms were not cleaned, there was no ventilation inside room, some kind of bad smell was coming from rooms as it seems those were NOT Cleaned for several months.(See the attached photos clicked in Bathrooms) I told Manager of Hotel City Square that we did not like rooms and we want rooms in their Hotel itself. He denied saying he can not give rooms in City Square as no room available there and can not help us. It was around 9:45 pm in clock and I then called customer care of Goibibo to informed them hardships faced by me and my family. I informed Goibibo representative that Staff Members of Hotel City Square lied with me several times and did not keep their commitments towards customer. I asked the representative to contact manager of Hotel and request to make room available at City Square only but again Manager did not agree. Then I told Goibibo representative that I can stay in Hotel Megh Niwas on condition that Hotel City Square should refund 50% of amount paid by me as compensation because quality of rooms in that Hotel was below average. But this proposal was also rejected by Manager of the City Square. As I was with family and kids and it was already 10:30 pm I did not want to do follow up more and hence told Goibibo that I will check in Hotel Megh Niwas. I moved towards reception area of the Hotel for check in & suddenly Manager of City Square told me that I CAN'T CHECK-IN now as my booking has been cancelled by them. I was shocked to hear it. Great ala cart e dinner and a nice buffet breakfast, they also source in few local delicacies from nearby shops. Very pleasant stay. The only improvement area was availability of hot water.

GGuest UserThis was easily one of our favourite stays in our 2-week trip of Northern India. We stayed at some much more expensive places but this was very authentic being an old haveli. It has charm and the staff were so friendly and helpful especially the manager. We felt completely safe here and Jodpur and Varanasi were the highlights of our holiday. Amazing views of the fort, fantastic rooftop restaurant called Indigo. Stay here!

The coolest staff I ever had on a hostel! Everyone is so cool, friendly and helpful. They are not just staff, they become friends! Hostel full of activities you can join - tours, concerts, games, local celebrations... Rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. GGuest UserHaveli inn pal is not Pal Haveli. Keep that in mind. But they are in same haveli. Different parts. Room no.7 is one you are looking for. Great views of mighty fort. Bit overpriced. Best if you get around 4K. Main thing is location. All famous eateries are near. Allowed us early check in without any hesitation. Friendly staff, at least most of them. So overall decent stay. I reviewed good on Agoda but this bad experience came after our stay ended. On last day we asked for taxi from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer. They said 6K as it is season rate. They said one way is not available. We agreed thinking taxi has to take round trip. Next day they asked us to pay all money to us in advance in cash before leaving. And then while travelling we came to know it was a one way car. Car already came from Jaisalmer, it was on its way back from Jodhpur. So charge is half for such trips. So hotel could have been honest and take less money. But they wanted their commission. This is no good. Left bad impression and this type of things destroys trust of tourists coming from far places to visit these great cities of dignified kings. So you can go ahead for stay but do not book anything external like taxi or sightseeing with them.

MMridul GLakeside Inn Ratanada is a very good budget hotel centrally located in Jodhpur. We had booked one Deluxe room for my family of three after talking to the owner directly a few days before our arrival in the city. I would say that everything (the furnishings and the décor) in the hotel turned out to be pretty much the way it looked in pictures that were shared beforehand. The entrance to the hotel is right on the main road close to a roundabout and next to ***y stores. It is unlike we had been to before and were a bit surprised at first. As soon as we entered the main door, our thoughts started turning positive quickly and the kind gentle*** at the reception started with the check-in process. A staff member helped us with unloading the luggage and taking it up to our room by the elevator. Our room on the 2nd floor was spacious enough and as per the discussions with the owner, it had a Ratanada lake facing view which was unexpectedly enchanting. The furniture in the room included chairs with a center table, cupboard, side tables with the bed, a LCD TV with plenty of channels, a desk and storage for luggage, air conditioner, a mini fridge, and a kettle for tea. We were traveling with good amount of luggage but were able to fit it all in the room without much inconvenience. We had a comfortable king size bed and an extra mattress provided in the night for the third person, which also afforded a good sleep. A couple of drinking water bottles and a plate of cookies was also provided, which is a small thing but makes the hospitality standout for a hotel of this category. Even the towels in the room were arranged in the form of two swans facing each other giving a ro***tic feel to the whole welcome. Our hearts were filled with joy at these beautiful and thoughtful extras. The lake and its surroundings are well maintained and there is a water jet in the center of the lake that was operational from the time we reached in the evening until late at night. In the night, we were pleasantly surprised to see the musical fountain also working and we could enjoy it all from the comfort of our bed. The view from the room definitely made this room and the hotel a very good choice. The hotel doesn’t have a car parking and the vehicle needs to be parked in front of the hotel entrance on the side of the main road. Not a big concern as the neighborhood seemed relatively less crowded and the roads are very wide at this location. Breakfast was included in the room price we paid. Breakfast variety is good and delicious. There’s the regular white bread with jam and butter, juice, tea, some fruit, and some Indian dishes, such as poori bhaaji, parathas, etc. The breakfast is served on the first floor in a large setting with comfortable chairs and tables. The bathroom is modern and of good size. The hotel provides some toiletries like tooth brushes, comb, soaps and shampoos. GGuest UserThis is the second time I have enjoyed staying at Jee Ri Haveli. Hi***shu and his family were lovely hosts. The Haveli is outside of the old town but the views of the fort from the rooms and rooftop restaurant are spectacular. You are within easy walking distance of everything including the excellent Sardar Market. The rooms are comfortable but not ***y luxuries but this doesn't matter as the beds are comfortable and hot water in the shower!! The food in the restaurant is excellent as well accompanied by the aforementioned view - see photo . They can arrange cars etc for arrival and departure if needed. Hi***shu took us on a wonderful walk through the old town - the blue city- and took us to visit the Jaswant Thada mausoleum and the superb Mehrangarh Fort. We really enjoyed this as he took us to places we never would have discovered on our own , we saw some wonderful murals and we ate the most delicious local sweets and found out the next day we made the local paper! Highly recommended and I would very happily stay here again.

Mehrangarh Fort Museum and Trust
1138***04The castle can be seen almost everywhere in the city. It looks very close, but it is really far to go up. The higher the car goes, the closer we feel to the desert. The wind and sand are so strong that we can't open our eyes. The castle is almost submerged in the wind and sand. The driver agreed to wait for us for 3 hours and then send us back to the city for 400 rupees. In fact, he gave 500 rupees in the end because we got lost when we left the castle and wasted some time.
Here I want to remind everyone that you must bring your ID card to rent the Chinese audio guide, which is free. We didn't bring it, and the brother didn't give it to us at first. Maybe he saw my lost expression and sympathized with me and gave it to me reluctantly. Yeah yeah yeah
Mehrangarh Castle is really the most spectacular, dangerous, and breathtaking fortress in this trip to northern India. I am simply fascinated by the architecture of India.
