We booked a 3 bedroom apartment for 2 nights for 5 adults. The room is spacious with nice modern wallpaper deco. The Wifi is good though you need to sign in daily. There are ample car parking space. Staffs are helpful. It has everything needed in the unit if you like to cook. The location is good with most attractions are only 15-20 minutes drive away like Tjong A Fie mansion, Istana Maimun, Grand Mosque, Merdeka walk. Around the corner there are Coffee restaurants. The only negative is the check in and check out is extremely slow. The wallpaper is torn probably due to mopping and there are cockroaches in the unit. The breakfast has variety but the bad side is they stop replenishing at 9.00am whereas breakfast time is till 10.00am Overall the stay is still comfortable and suitable for family.

Never ask for more for a minimal budget. Qualityly, this hotel is worth it. The room is a studio model if you just want to stop by for a sleep. For breakfast, I only took bread and tea, because in appearance, the other menus less flavored. The rest, good service, assisted check in and check out process, problems are handled quickly. If you get a room on the 7th floor, get ready to take the stairs, because the elevators at this hotel are only available to the 6th floor.

GGuest UserStaying for two nights in their most basic room. The moment i entered the room, i know this is such a good bargain and definitely best value for similar hotel at its level. Room was super clean, very well maintained, definitely 5 star level of maintenance. Its spacious and bed is super comfy (quite firm which i prefer), even bolster is provided! there is small fridge, safe deposit box, electronic water kettle with large mug and instant coffees / teas. The hotel doesn't provide daily bottled water, but instead, they provide water jug which i can always refill from dispenser right outside my room (room tips: choose any room with 07, the dispenser is right outside your door). There are lazy chair with small round table and ergonomic working chair by the desk. Aircon works very well to beat Medan heat. Overall, room is very spacious! Bathroom is also sparking clean, toilet is shining white and no sewage smell at all. its really that clean. kudos to the cleaning team. toiletries provided is basic. special mention to the wooden toothbrush and branded toothpaste. Bathtowel is huge and thick. Shower is very strong with very easy to adjust heating. i didn't opt in for breakfast, so can't review on that. Alternatively, Medan has plenty option for local breakfast. Although the hotel doesn't have fancy swimming pools or gym, but the cleanliness and quality of the room makes up. My only complain is the internet can get unstable / slow especially during the night. The receptionist refused to bring the food i order online upstair (while their cleaning staff said it was okay). One day i called and requested to get my room clean up when i grab breakfast outside, but when i returned the room is not yet cleaned, they said the room cleaning takes turn (i wasn't informed on this when i called). but overall, its really good hotel for the price. highly recommended

Ssyafriemuhammadactually i didn't expect more than this hotel,and it seems that this hotel didn't expect much either.the position of the hotel is indeed being a central city,but the surrounding environment is indeed surrounded by residents'homes. i stayed in a studio type room 16 which was the biggest type when viewed from the application where i booked,but it turned out that the size of the room was still relatively narrow. the bathroom in the room is also very narrow and the positioning of the curtain for bathing even makes the bathroom narrower. The hallway to the room also has no air conditioning and no lift while my room is on the 3rd floor so it can imagine a mix between tired and hot during going to the room. Another thing I would like to discuss is breakfast in the morning with frozen food, so the hotel provides a freezer containing frozen food bottled and we chose our breakfast directly. After that the clerk will cook it with micowave. this is my first time staying in a hotel with such a breakfast system. i don't know if this kind of system is good or not,but this system makes me feel that this hotel is indeed allocated for “emergency” travelers who want to be practical and fast. Fortunately the reception and the hotel staff including the security guard were so friendly that at least there was one good little thing I could praise from this hotel.

Lucky for me there is cordela that suit with the budget and more low if we booked from hotel website. The hotel is very friendly and helpful. Receptionist are already arranged the room that follow my request, such as hi floor, double bed, view, and smoking room. The room is clean, compact, cool air con, and nice tv channels. Elevator is running well. Nice and various breakfast options. Hotel location also near pirngadi central hospital. In ground level there is 24 hours small convenience store. This year the hotel conduct lucky draw for legoland at jb (hoping i win the prize). Brief summary if you looking for friendly national chain hotel in medan this is it.

WWangThis is a special homestay I stayed in Medan, because it is fully self-service, there is no staff, at least I haven't seen any since last night, but this does not affect our peace of mind at all.
The beds in the room are very clean, there are also charging sockets, and the security is also very guaranteed. You have to enter a password to enter the door. The shower and toilet are also very comfortable. There are messages from previous travelers on the wall of the front hall, and you can see that everyone praises it.

But there are a few regrets. All the beds on the first floor are a little wet, so I had to use a dry towel to pad them.
The stairs to the upper bunk are difficult to go up,
and there are no food and beverage stores or places to visit around!

Kama Hotel is located on a very good street. A delicious restaurant across the street. A few attractions walking distance as well. The staff, very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very delicious. Local food and very authentic. I did get a room with no window, but that’s not a problem, it was comfortable and equipped with everything needed.
