"Christophe's pad is convenient for the shops, markets and sights of Aix, is in a pleasant neighbourhood, and has parking which is valuable because finding anywhere to park in the city is difficult, once you negotiate your way past La Fada, a sad neighbour who stands in front of your car and rambles on incomprehensibly. The pad is well provided with pots, pans etc and supplied with tea, coffee, herbs, spices etc, though it could do with a toaster, as well as a rubber mat for the inside of the bath because one can slip easily. It's a pad best for people who are fit - it's on the 3rd floor, and who get up, eat and go to bed at the same time because it is very sonorous with the slightest noise reverberating around the flat. For example I was forbidden to wear slippers by my wife because very step sounded on the laminated floor - there are no carpets or rugs - and every cut and scrape on the Ikea crockery grated."
"Excellent hotel for small family with an early flight.
Booked a triple room for an unbelievable low price.
King size bed was super comfortable.
The sofa bed was already made into very nice, comfortable bed. The room was outfitted with everything you could want and impeccably clean.
The only down side was that room was a little warm and windows cannot be opened and air conditioning was not operational, presumably because it was April.
We checked in late and left early, so wasn’t able to take advantage of any hotel amenities. But the lobby and restaurant looked neat and modern.
Check in and out were easy and efficient."
"The stay went well. I arrived at night and luckily found someone who let me into reception where I called a phone number and followed the instructions to check in. The room was large and the night was fine."
"The location was perfect for our early morning flight from the airport. The Receptionist, Sophia, was very accommodating and helped us with storing luggage we didn't need in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities adequate. We were excited to learn that there was a restaurant on site for dining. HOWEVER, when we went to dine, it took quite a while to get attention to be seated. THEN it took ages before we received menus to make a selection. Staff just didn't seem to be interested in doing their job in a pleasant, welcoming way. Our dinner choices came quickly and were very tasty for the most part. My chicken caesar salad contained some tomato-like slices that were inedible so I removed them after testing one piece only. Check out was awkward as the fellow on the desk had difficulty understanding our need to pick up our stored luggage. He couldn't find our pieces in the room behind his station. I mimed that t was on a cart and he tweeted that it might be in a different cupboard/closet. Thankfully, he found it and did assist us taking the heavy pieces out to the taxi that had been reserved for us. We were appreciative of that. I suspect it was a communication issue as we do not speak French and the man clearly did not understand English as well as the day staff did. I down-graded facilities because the swimming pool was basically unusable given that the outside dining area now abuts it and the smoking permitted there made the air quality intolerable. We noted that half walls have been added around the pool that act as a barricade (different from our previous stay) and they give a ”Keep Out” message. Perhaps needed for safety if young children are running about but off-putting for us. We had been looking forward to a refreshing swim after a drive in 35C weather from our holiday location in the Luberon."
"There is a free shuttle bus from the airport, so even if you arrive late at night they will come and pick you up right away! The breakfast buffet had more variety than I expected, which was great♪
The only thing that was disappointing was that I booked two rooms for one person, but they put us in one room for two. Even though the price was cheaper for two people per room, they wouldn't refund me. I should have checked more carefully when I checked in, but in the end, I ended up paying extra, which was annoying.
But the facilities at the inn, the breakfast that you can eat on the terrace, and the access were all good!"
"The positives.
There was always someone at reception.
We arrived at 1 a.m. due to a flight delay, and the receptionist gave us our room, which we had to change because the shower was clogged. Not great for a hotel of this standard.
Clean and comfortable bedding. Adjustable air conditioning. And a swimming pool if you have time to use it.
Breakfast for three was €57. The selection was good, but it didn't justify the price. I'm used to hotel breakfasts, and this was far from what I've had for less. My daughter had a hot chocolate and two slices of cake. Breakfast was a bit pricey."
"Marseille Airport Hotel, there is a button on the pillar opposite the No. 5 bus stop to call the hotel car to pick you up. The room is relatively small, the toilet is unexpectedly large, and there is free drinking water on the first floor. The hotel shuttle bus runs until 12 o'clock at night."
