Find the Cheap Bourg-en-Bresse Hotels

One knows what to expect in an Ibis room. The hotel is easily found and has a free well lit parking lot directly adjacent. Our room was spotless and comfy. Quiet. Breakfast buffet ample and with great selection. Front desk staff very helpful, friendly. A short walk to the monastery and its museum. We ate at an excellent restaurant nearby although hotel does have a restaurant too.

The day was hot and the welcome was warm. Shortly afterwards I was in a nice clean room - almost straight away I had a thirst quenching welcome drink in the garden which is the highlight of this hotel - a airy peaceful spot to relax away from the traffic sounds outside. I went to the restaurant for dinner. Menu looked promising and wine carte was ample I took a bottle of localish wine. Starter arrived and looked fantastic, pity rather than a drizzle of dressing the salad leaves were drenched. I usually find that the French menu sounds really good and the English translation does not really match. Sautéed potatoes with French - cooked potatoes in English just doesn't make it very appetising. However much to my surprise the English translation was in fact correct the chef obviously didn't know how to make sautéed postatioes and what arrived was oven cooked potatoes - just a Little thing... The three waitresses in the restaurant did a wonderful job of trying to look after the guests - but might have benefited from some more support, and guidance, from the Gentleman in charge. My sleep was good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast managed by AVA was wonderful I felt welcome and found everything I wanted easily, this was well organised and managed with tables cleared quickly and made a great start to the day. Whilst taking out lagged I tripped on a loose paving slab just outside of the main entrance, fortunately regained my balance - could have been disastrous !! When I checked out I was not asked how my stay was just presented a bill to pay and this was quite cold, almost the opposite of arrival. I might have been given a chance to mention a couple of things but I guess this Mercure prefers feedback afterwards

The room was very clean and very clean. Just the floor bathroom and the shower it's not very practical ( water that goes everywhere ) and it's a little dirty with the gardens, etc ... Check out. Sinon top ! Lady à l'accueil très gentille.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due volte in questa struttura, la prima volta ci siamo trovati tutto sommato bene, abbiamo solo dormito, check-in fatto online, struttura abbastanza pulita. Visto che la prima esperienza non era stata male e spinti anche dal fatto che se prenotavamo una seconda volta ci regalavano la colazione abbiamo riprenotato. La seconda volta (ieri notte con partenza stamattina) non è andata così bene perché abbiamo trovato una ragazza alla reception svogliata, poco disponibile e al limite della maleducazione. Preciso che ieri sera il check in l’ha fatto un ragazzo molto carino al quale avevamo fatto presente che per l’indomani avevamo la colazione compresa nel prezzo e lui ci aveva spiegato per filo e per segno la procedura: far vedere il voucher alla sua collega e poi ci ha mostrato il posto dove ci avrebbero servito la colazione. Stamattina ci presentiamo in reception mostrando il voucher che c’era arrivato tramite email e che avevamo anche inserito durante la seconda prenotazione in app, ma la ragazza ci ha detto che al suo terminale non risultava niente e che quindi non potevamo far colazione. Niente è servito farle vedere le varie e-mail con prenotazioni e codici, per dimostrare che era la seconda volta a distanza di tre giorni che soggiornavamo lì e che come da cartello ben in mostra sotto il bancone alla seconda prenotazione si ha diritto a una colazione gratis, a lei non interessava niente e ci ha mandato via. Quello che mi ha fatto rimanere male non è il fatto di non aver usufruito della colazione, ma dalla mancanza di collaborazione e empatia da parte della ragazza per risolvere una controversia, che sinceramente non era neanche così insormontabile, cosa sinceramente imprescindibile in una struttura come questa.
