MMarc GaldonFerrerWe stayed at hotel Blu Aran at the beginning of December in order to enjoy the opening of ski season at Baqueira Beret ski resort. The location of the hotel is in Vielha, just a short walk from downtown and still in a quiet side road. It has available free parking, which is not a common thing here, since many hotels charge up to 10€ per day to use their parking space even to customers. Breakfast is good but lacking a bit in variety. Rooms are comfortable and cozy with good condition appliances, we specially enjoyed the big bathtub to relax with a hot bath after the whole day skiing. Also the balcony is a very nice space with a great view over the rooftops of Vielha. Overall a good experience in Hotel Blu Aran

GGuest UserI must say that this hotel has met all the expectations it had and has overcome them with note. The location is enviable. You have to travel for 3-4 minutes by a curve road, but if you want a hotel in a mountain village, isolated and with incredible views of the Cadí's cordillery, to fields with horses, to the mountain, ... you take it with pleasure. The building, in a small town of about 10 inhabitants, is quite modern, but fully integrated into the architecture of the rest of the buildings. All of stone, persistent. The rooms are very spacious, with a large laundry, large and very new beds, TV, closet, chairs and board, heat with very efficient thermostat, ... just perfect. On the amability and friendliness of the staff, just say that improving. And breakfast is worth it, very complete and at a good price. The only thing we did not test for the activities we had scheduled was dinner. And we were glad to stay because when we saw the letter and some dishes we saw had a very appetited paint. In short, and very few SUPER RECOMMENDABLE establishments say so.

Very classy room fittings. Spacious and comfortable. Disliked · Parking situation was terrible. The hotel said they had reserved a parking spot for me in their underground garage, but I’m reaching there, I was told that the garage was full and that I could park out on the roads. But the city was very congested and it was impossible to park on the roads. Ended up parking in a paid garage about 300 m away at €17 a night. And in the morning, it took a while to bring the car to a convenient place near the hotel, to help load up the bags; since the roads are all one way and it’s hard to navigate in the congested neighborhood.

A disgustingly mediocre hotel. Looking at the booking page we were promised something completely different. The rooms, mostly, destroyed, attached photos of some of our rooms. Some had bugs, not just mosquitoes, everything. We couldn't open the windows because of the bugs. The corridors were disgusting, dirty, unkempt and stinky. On the website it said that there was air conditioning, the only thing we found when we arrived was a heater that is activated when it is a bit cold. The elevator was scary, it smelled like a wet dog and it made a terrible noise. Let's talk about the staff, very unpleasant, they did not let you eat freely in the buffet, they did not control anything and they were never at the reception. Disappointing. The common areas were saved a bit, but the pool was full of dead bugs, it had green water areas and not to mention the one for small children, it had frogs. The buffet was really disgusting, the food looked bad, it tasted bad, it didn't follow the sanitary rules. We had to file several complaints for them to put something decent, we went almost 3 days without eating. Not to mention the conditions, you could not take more than one piece of food, the cooks do not use the regulatory protections, so the food has hair, we have found several hairs in our disgusting food. The dining room was full, full of flies. Buffet with little variety and no drinks. The vending machines were almost empty, they are what we have eaten these days. The only salvageable thing about the hotel is the exterior, the views and the location, with activities nearby and the town next door. We expected much more from the hotel, we left very disappointed.
