The hotel is ideally placed in caldas de reis. Beautiful big rooms and a shower that was heaven after a day's walking. However no information given at check in apart from the fact they have a thermal pool out the back and time of breakfast. No mention of WiFi or the fact they have a spa with jacuzzi and stuff in hotel . Also the fact they offer massages and such was not mentioned. I only found this out when I went online to see if hotel opened for dinner I asked at reception about using it the next day before check out and was told it does not open until midday so was no use to me . A couple I met at breakfast were not advised of the services on offer either so it's almost as if its OK to use pool but nothing else A sign in the lift advising where entrance to pool is would save having to wander thru reception in dressing gown trying to find way. A beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities if guests were told about them at check in or perhaps put a booklet in room

Reserve as soon as you can as this place is often booked. They arranged a massage which was heavenly. Staff and service could not have been better. I went out to try to find something for dinner, but as usual, places don't open until 8:00. We should have stayed at the hotel. The avocado toast looked great, and the setting in the garden or restuarant is lovely. Enjoy. And, yes, it's right on the Camino :)

Wow!!! This place was amazing ! After a long day on the camino checking into this hotel with the beautiful backyard and pool was heaven. Worth every penny ! Very clean hostel which is styled very nice. Room was a little small but we spent our time in the beautiful garden so it wasn’t an issue. They have a lift so nicely accesible.

Pluses We stayed a wonderful four weeks in this lovely hotel from late July to late August 2022 , using it as a home base for extensive travel around western Galicia. Staff were very responsive and helpful. No request was too much trouble for them. Excellent estuary views on the side facing the ria and partial estuary views on side facing car park. Good, varied breakfast available. Attractive bar with light meals inside facing car park at back of hotel. Main restaurant and Bistro face the ria. Rooms comfortable and pleasant with excellent views from 'internal' glazed balcony with wall-to-wall picture windows. Outdoor pool area facing the ria was well tended with different seating areas. It opens late and closes late by UK standards as it stays light until late in this part of Spain. Bar service available round the pool. Generally, cleaning was good throughout. Staff wore masks. Minus Indoor Spa pool was payment only. I did not use ot as tge weatger was mostly very goid so used tge putdoor pool. It looked pleasant. Was not very big and every time I asked the price at the Spa reception I was told a different answer. It might have been a language problem. I could not see the price prominently displayed but perhaps it was written somewhere in Spanish. Reception had told me to ask at the Spa reception. The dining tables by the pool are for the restaurant menu only at lunchtime. No pool snacks available. However, bar service is available round the pool and there were two or three bar tables with seating next to the ria. Personally, I wore a mask in the breakfast room when not eating. Very few people did so aart from tge staff. I would have liked to see more bottles of alcogel around and disposable gloves to wear at the buffet for handling implements. Everytime I took something from the buffet I popped out to use alcogel or wash my hands before eating. There was no real outdoor area to take breakfast so I opened one of the picture windows a little near me each time to get some fresh air. This contrasted with the situation at the Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki where we had stayed recently and where there was a bottle of alcogel on each table and guests had to wear masks and disposable gloves at the buffet.

Es verdad que mi habitación daba un patio, pero es que solo iba a dormir, no a mirar las vistas . Buenas camas , buena limpieza, la comida muy rica , tanto el buffet de por las mañanas como la media pensión Ya que es un menú de varios platos de primero y de segundo muy elaborados y muy ricos . GGuest UserI put you 1 star because I can't put you 0. I called and I received a reservation of July date, as they assured you did not have the open agenda. I called again two days later to extend from 3 to 4 people, and they told me that the reservations do not exist. We sent back the reservation mail and they called us excuse, assured us that the reservation does not exist but did it by mistake. After weeks, I found out for myself that the agenda was already open on the internet and the prices were. They had not warned us. When they called, they don't want to explain why the agenda was open without having communicated anything. We were given a disordersed budget (nearly € 600 for two nights), when they offered a much lower price on the internet. The lady who attended us again cried and recriminated that we did not take into account the fact that they changed the reservation system. I ask for the data for the complaint sheet and they are dedicated to shouting and telling me that they have to take care of many people today. GGuest UserHotel familiar muy céntrico a pocos pasos de la estación de tren que está junta al centro comercial Vialia. Habitación muy limpia como también las zonas comunes. Personal muy amable. Recepción 24 horas abierta. Quiero nombrar a Francisco de recepción, muy amable y servicial. Ofrecen también desayuno. Calidad /precio perfecto. Hotel 100% recomendable. Volveremos.

Very good location practically in the city port. The room is very comfortable and well distributed, also having a small terrace-balcony with views to the outside. The best thing was the treatment of the girl at the reception, very attentive and pleasant, answering all our questions and advising us on places to park as an alternative to public parking (quite expensive in that area) and good places to eat and visit. Modest hotel within its characteristics but perfectly meeting the expectations placed on it. We will return if there is an opportunity.

El alojamiento eran 4plantas, las cuáles 2 y3 había ruido,cocina bastante sucia, la verdad es que optamos por no cocinar ni usar nada. Estabamos en un cuarto sin ascensor, la habitación que nos toca en un principio era menos de 4 metros cuadrados, donde había 2 camas, perchero, silla, televisor, y mesa de noche. Todo en ese espacio, con lo que conlleva moverse 2personas y 2 maletas...Buscamos algo económico donde nos daba igual compartir baño, pero que estuviera limpio. Y ahí está el problema cuando vamos acostarnos, una cama da olor a pipi de ratón, y tras una noche ahi, nos damos.cuenta, que es el colchón, no la ropa de la cama, que por cierto, estaban sucias con pelos y sin sacudir. Además, ese primer día usamos el baño ( estábamos solos en esa planta) y el lavamano estaba llena de pelos, de afeitarse, por tanto no se limpió. Al comunicarle a la recepcionista,limpiadora y responsable, nos.dice que esa habitación estaba cerrada pendiente de que el seguro les diera una valoración por humedad, pero ahí estaba abierta para sacar dinero, en esas condiciones, nos dice que no.hay ratones, pero vemos trampas por el suelo. Bueno, nos cambian a una habitación más amplia, con ropero y más limpia, ahí estuvimos dos noches, pero esa última, en la planta baja ocurre una pelea, se oyen gritos, golpes, hasta las 2 y allí no aparece nadie. Lo comunicamos, decidimos irnos, pagamos 8 noches, de las que usamos 3, para más INRI, nos vamos, la ofrecen, lo sabemos porque la recepcionista nos dijo que si volvíamos teníamos que quedarnos en otra habitación que ya que esa estaba ocupada. No devuelven la parte proporcional, sino que a los días nos reclaman el dinero porque no habían visto que el pago se hizo incluso antes de la llegada.

GGuest UserSound proofing not great as the wooden floors get creaky. But noise beats quiet eerieness. Good place to start for the last 100km of camino. Walkable to church and the pier area. Only 1 small convenience store nearby, so difficult to find supermarkets in Portugal.
