Find the Cheap Furtwangen im Schwarzwald Hotels

We were too four in the cattle. And we were surprised. The hosts are very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean and noticeable good for a short stay. The host (and cook), Mr. Kletter, can not only cook, but also entertain. He presented us his son Luigi. Very personal and fine. A pleasure and a pleasure for it.

We visited the garden restaurant after a walk to the waterfall for coffee and cake. The garden restaurant is situated at the bottom of some steps and was pleasant. The waitress was initially friendly and as it was a very hot day we ordered black forest gateau and iced cappuccinos each, as thought they would be nice and refreshing. When the iced coffees arrived they were quite small in the glass (only about half full) - see photo before we tasted anything- and when my wife had a sip she realised it wasn't cold but was luke warm. I asked the waitress if we could have an icecube to cool it down but was told no, she didn't have any ice cubes (bear in mind this is a hotel!). We think maybe she just didn't want to walk upstairs to get any. Obviously the coffees were pretty undrinkable (they seemed to have been made with a hot coffee shot and room temperature milk). My wife had about 1cm of hers and I had less of mine. When we came to bill the coffees had been included even though there was obviously something wrong with them (as I had pointed out to the waitress when I asked for the ice cube). We questioned about the coffees and explained that they weren't iced coffees but tepid coffees. However the waitress just repeated that if we ordered them we have to pay for them. My wife hates any fuss so I reluctantly paid even though we couldnt drink them. The waitress had three opportunities to put the situation right after they sold something they obviously were unable to provide 1) provide an ice cube to cool down the drinks when we asked 2) noted that we weren't drinking the coffees and offer us a replacement 3) remove them from the bill. 3 wasted opportunities to do the right thing. We had been in Germany for 6 weeks up until then and had really positive experiences, unfortunately this happened on our last day and it isn't the image we want to take away. The black forest gateau was OK but I'm sure there are much better establishments in Triberg. I would love to hear back from the manager of this establishment.

Lovely hotel: mid-range price, very nice rooms with great views, clean and spacious. Restaurant on site is very good! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is secure in a gated garage. Location is in town but up hills so driving down to the center is recommended. The hotel included passes to the museum which is a really nice place to eat and the museum was very good! We spent more time there than expected.

Das Hotel liegt sehr in einer ruhigen Lage und bietet einige Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Es ist familiär und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und behandelt während des Aufenthalts. Das Personal unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr aufmerksam (nochmal Danke für den tollen Service) mit familiärem Flair. Große Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Getrãnke und Eier werden an den Tisch seviert. Am Ankunftstage haben wir im Restaurant des Hauses gegessen: absolut zu empfehlen! Regionale Gerichte mit einer guten Weinkarte und ... gute Laune, die alles noch erholsamer und achöner macht. Das renovierte, sehr saubere Zimmer war gross und ansprechend, das Bad war ebenfalls geräumig. Die Verdunkelung durch die Vorhänge war für die kurzen Tage im Oktober ok, die abendliche Beleuchtung im Zimmer ebenfalls. W-lan war meh als ok. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen, wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

Hôtel idéalement situé dans la montagne mais à 10mn de badeparadise. On y est au calme avec une très belle vue sur la nature. Notre chambre avait un immense balcon et était très confortable et spacieuse. Très douillette et propre avec du café et du thé à disposition. L'accueil est sympathique et familiale. Nous avons eu des petits déjeuners copieux et avec tout un choix possible. Nous avons dîné un soir et la viande était très bonne tendre et bien cuite. Le parking est gratuit ainsi qu'un sauna et son espace détente avec lit de foin musique etc. Nous n'avons pas testé le bowling mais c'est possible. Je recommande vivement me tarif était très correct vu la qualité des prestations.
