First time I've stayed in a Penta Hotel. Excellent & helpful communication with hotel prior to my stay. Like others I found checking in at the bar very strange and I found the guy at the bar doing this very curt (it was around 11 at night so maybe he had a hard day!). Decor on ground floor very modern, moody and dark - great they had a complimentary water cooler available. Rooms are very small but for one night it was fine - again modern decor and clean. My room could have done with a bit of maintenance however - curtain loose and paint(?) stain on carpet. The strangest thing about the room was how close the hairdryer was to the sink - couldn't really help splashing it when getting washed! Surely this can't be compliant with current safety regulations (see pic). All in all had a great sleep and would use Pentahotels again based on this short 1-night stay.
The hotel is about 5-6 minutes drive from Brussels Airport. The hotel environment is general, but free parking is available at the door. Next to the hotel is the train track, the noise is relatively loud, and the sound of the plane taking off and landing is relatively loud. The hot water is OK, and the sleep is OK.
So, if you have any allergies best avoid this hotel, they have no care for anyone with allergies. I am a celiac, on my first day we got there we were all informed the restaurant was on a small menu due to staff issues, so there was nothing at all for me on this small menu (I have come to expect this) what I didnt expect was to be totally ignored at breakfast. I took a sign that explained my allergies in the local dialect, I took 3 different cards to avoid any issues. I gave the sign to the receptionist who took me to the breakfast buffet and said there was nothing for me. Come the 2nd day, I did the same as the receptionist was different, he took the sign to the chef who informed him there was nothing they could make me. So at €120 a night for bed and breakfast, I couldn't have any breakfast, 3 nights I stayed and I didnt have a single item of food from the hotel. I asked to speak to a manager who obviously ignored me as she didn't want the hassle. When I got home I emailed the company who own ibis (it was a pain to find an email in the first place) they said it wasn't correct and would email the hotel to investigate the issue. After 2 days I get an email back from the manager of the hotel, the email said there was actually something I could eat bar the ham and cheese her receptionist stated. She also explained there was no cross contamination even though I was watching her staff contaminate all the food she claimed I could have. I emailed back and obviously she couldn't be bothered to reply. I tried to email the initial company who now ignored me and refuse to solve this issue. I have never experienced anything like this before, I had nothing to eat for breakfast and as we were on the spa f1 trip when we all got to the track again there was nothing for me so I ended up loosing alot of weight due to this. At €120 a night its ridiculous to think there was no breakfast for me, its even worse to think the hotel refused to dp anything about it. They have a sign above the buffet that had all the allergies on it but clearly this is just a facade as if you ask the staff they have no clue and just stand there going well you can't have any food, it's a shame. Please bare in mine this hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate and there are no other restaurants or takeaways nearby so if you can't eat at the hotel you have to travel to Brussels to get something. So the hotel its self. As stated the staff are all useless and have no care whatsoever The room was small, cold, dirty and unsuitable. There was no safe, the tv didn't work, the window wouldn't close properly, the room was always cold but they provided massive duvets to counter this. One night at 4am there was some kid in the hall having a shouting match with himself, this wouldn't have been the hotel's issue, but I was the first room on the ground floor next to reception, so when this guy was shouting and waking up the whole hotel, he was 5meter away from the receptionist who didn't do any

Friendly & helpful reception . Good & cause room . Free soft drinks ( water & cola) , coffee & tea. The room has to be cleaned better. The train station is close the hotel. 15 minutes by train to downtown of Brussels
This hotel is not what it seems online. First of all the rooms were untidy and there are not enough sockets and bed linens. In addition there was no soundproofing.Secondly the breakfast was lacking. Last but not least a black man (he was one of the hotel staff) came in our room and start yelling at us because we made a fuss (we never did that) We got upset.
Let’s start with the two positives. One, the staff were absolutely lovely, so incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to assist us. Perfect English and just genuinely nice people. Two -it’s quirky. As an ex jail some of the features are interesting, although the dark and tatty hallways did nothing for it I’m afraid. So, the reality of this stay. Uncomfortable. We had two single beds pushed together and they were like a bouncy castle. I fell off the edge one night because the very very poor mattress didn’t stay on the base. It was like a big inflatable. There are no facilities in rooms for tea/coffee. The hotel does not do food other than breakfast. This hotel accommodates many surgery patients who have to stick to a liquid diet. Not so easy when no food at hotel and no kettle in room. Patients are not always able to walk any distance to get into town to buy anything. The room was hat I called “surface clean” it was not clean to standards I’d expect. Thick pockets of Dust and the cleaning service did not come near our room in the 5 days we stayed. They have no till at the bar so It’s exact money only with no change given or use a card (which if you’re pounds sterling will add a charge From bank) At €120 per night, was it worth that? No it certainly was not. For that accommodation I’d expect To pay €95 a night tops. Again I must finish with how fabulous the staff all were. In a better hotel our trip would have been perfect Staff actually heated a tin of soup for me also which they didn’t need to do. So kind
Free shuttle is the key service I'm attracted to. But the shuttle missed 1 timing and we waited for an hour. Pls remember to contact hotel in advance for shuttle. Hotel is good and clean. If without shuttle, need to take train and it's just across the station.
The hotel was rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was courteous and professional. Check-in and check-out was efficient and quick. The airport shuttle ran frequently and was reliable.
On a one night stay, travelling on the luxuria coach with drivers Paul & Paul with Leger holidays on a 16 day Arctic Circle and the land of the midnight sun holiday, this was our last night I have stayed at this hotel before in October 2022 on a previous holiday with Leger, it’s a fabulous hotel, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, bathroom had a bath and a separate shower, excellent housekeeping, everything you needed for your stay, we had a lovely evening meal down in the restaurant, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, staff were friendly and helpful, the glass lifts are amazing and the seating area in reception is modern, I enjoyed my stay.

GGuest UserIn my experience hotels such as the Holiday Inn Airport Brussels are few and far between. They were prompt, efficient, had answers to all our questions, and catered to our whims. The lobby/main floor caters to the comforts of their guests with a lounge area, bar area, restaurant area, and an outdoor area. The breakfast and dinner was superb (I had the salmon for dinner). Perhaps an improvement could be made to the three slight level differences in the room as it would be safer for those who are a bit wobbly on their feet.
GGermano Brasileiro PinheiroLocation is great, service is very good too. The hotel, despite being quite new, already shows signs of wear and tear. One of the lifts was not working during my stay and I found the soap container in the bathroom on the floor (it had fallen off the wall). A bit of attention to detail and this place will be unbeatable for a quick stop in Brussels. I'd book it again.
Mmi youngAmong the hotels I visited during my trip, the service and facilities were very good. It was great for families to stay, and it had a kitchen so it was convenient to cook food. Parking was safe, and the free washing machine and dryer in the basement were useful. clean
ZZIDONGThe hotel breakfast is good, the dinner is average, not recommended, there is no lunch, and there is no restaurant nearby, it is recommended to come back after eating in the city.
About shuttle bus. Go down to the 1st floor, zone E, wait for the shuttle bus, and the timetable will be attached. I didn't wait, I took a taxi directly, and it was in the early 10 euros, which was acceptable.
It's not easy to take a taxi nearby, there is 272 when you go out, swipe your credit card when you get on the bus, and transfer to the subway after 272 when you get to the city, you can go to many places. There are 471 and 282 nearby. Use Google Maps to look at the time. The traffic is convenient, but it is troublesome.
I can go to big supermarkets such as Carrefour after reloading the car twice, and I can also buy something back to the hotel to eat by myself.
GGuest UserI was there only one night to catch my next flight the following day. Room was clean and comfortable. Service was good. Nothing else accessible in the area. So, you go the in the same situation I was.
JJ3357ERjanetbI stayed here with colleagues 3 times in 8 days. The first visit I was greeted by a most friendly, understanding, humorous and friendly man who could not have made the process any better. The second visit the man hadn't a smile or any warmth in his greeting. The third time possibly due to my colleague and I trying to discuss that we didn't like having to run the gauntlet of smokers outside the only entrance and it being enclosed on 3 sides we were met with distain, sarcasm, sideways looks between colleagues and frank rudeness. There was no attempt to even try to apologise, quiet the opposite in fact being told that ”it's outside so doesn't matter!” Customer service needs attention. Rooms clean, needs comfy, breakfast adequate. Restaurant available in the next door Ibis standard hotel. Staff here very pleasant. Food below average. Position was great for our needs. Plenty of car parking. Pay at reception for parking of you require a receipt otherwise the barrier doesn't give you one and you have to go back to reception to request one to be emailed to you.
