Family-friendly Hotels in Chun＇an

I loved the lake view from my room, and highly recommend higher floors. The bathtub with the open view was also amazing,the beds were soft and sleek. However,I would not rate this hotel as 5 stars; the decor is quite old with its dark colours, a bit worn out wallpapers and quite old carpets in the corridor. It was very noisy with lots of families and their kids. Buliding 1 has two lifts only and you end up waiting and being squashed in a lift all the time. Coming down to breakfast restaurant was about strange as the lift takes you to the basement parking so one needs to go past the cars unless you want to walk outside the building.The breakfast was buzzing with too many people impatient to que politely. Most importantly, I really feel the front desk service needs a lot of improvement; I understand that nobody speaks English, we can use translators,but noone welcomed me properly and wished me a nice stay: my Alipay and passport only mattered. I was lucky with Xio Qian ( front desk boy) who offered to help and share the information about amenities and trips around the lake. I am very grateful to him. The gym in building 5 was a disappointment; One swimming pool is to be shared between 4 other buildings. Because it rained, the water was quite cold in the pool. Overall,this hotel would suit families and kids mainly,but i would not recommend it to single expats and certainly would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.

I strongly recommend you experience a stay at Hilton Hangzhou Qiandaohu. It was one of the most comfortable stays ever. Maksim, one of the hotel employees, helped us from the start to the end. As a Korean, traveling in China is extremely difficult because of the language barrier. Although, I speak English, most of the Chinese do not. But, Maksim was able to speak 4 languages fluently; Korean, English, Russian and Chinese. He was happy to answer any questions regardless of time. So, if you are a foreigner considering a visit to Qiandaohu, Hilton is the place, and find Maksim when you do so. The hotel upgraded my room when I got there and prepared a nice welcoming fruit in the room. The hotel has a lot of fun activities, and nice restaurants. My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable memories here.

We had an unforgettable experience at Bright Resort in Qindaohu. Everything was absolutely perfect. Spectacular views, amazing villa, delicious food and very kind staff. We enjoyed walking in the nature, the fresh air and the amazing views. We spotted big fish, eagles and aquatic birds. The breakfast and the food at the Chinese restaurant were delicious. Totally recommended for families, couples and singles.

We came for a short getaway from hot Shanghai. The hotel was very clean and the room spacious and comfortable. As the only foreign family in the hotel, we were treated very well and helped by the staff to get COVID tests in the town. Breakfast was good and the food and drinks on the menu were really affordable. The main reason to come here is the water park. Our balcony faced directly in the park, which is clean and pretty good fun. Crowded on the weekends! Make sure your room reservation includes tickets. We didn’t realize we had to pay extra and had to purchase tickets on both days. There is no additional pool available, so there is not much to do if you don’t use the water park. There is very little else in walking distance of the hotel, but we did find a few nice little restaurants. Best to come with a car or make friends with a local taxi driver, as we did!

Super big room with nice view! Super awesome coming at low peak season. Only item is probably the lights are turn on slightly late. We saw a few ppl riding in the dark. Quite dangerous since cars are travelling in low lights. Feedback to staff and they mention they will bring this to the in charge to adjust the light timing

We chose the Sheraton Resort Hotel for our trip to Qiandao Lake. We read all the reviews praising this hotel. The location is very good and it is convenient to travel. We booked it without hesitation. After checking in, we enjoyed the service, beautiful environment, cleanliness and many other aspects. The experience was very comfortable and high-quality. Secondly, on the day of check-in, the concierge at the door took the initiative to help us with our luggage. The front desk lady patiently and enthusiastically introduced the breakfast location and time, the opening hours of the indoor swimming pool in the children's playground. During the stay, the room cleaner was very dedicated. The room was clean and comfortable every day. The service was also first-class and very cordial and thoughtful. In short, I deeply felt in the Sheraton Hotel. The beautiful environment, high-quality service and excellent team brought us a wonderful mood and experience that is unforgettable. The overall evaluation is full marks. The children's playground opposite the lobby is very large, with many items and facilities to play. The decoration colors are very eye-catching and dreamy. The indoor swimming pool is large and the water is clear. The gym is also a must-check-in place every day. It is simply great and must be shared. The hotel is in a good location and the environment is great. Building 2 is the best location for viewing the lake view. The environment around the hotel is first-class. It is surrounded by green trees and the air is fresh and pleasant. It seems to be in a natural oxygen bar. There are parent-child bicycles for rent at the lobby entrance. Cycling along the lake is super enjoyable. The lakeside Liangrui Coffee Shop recommended by the housekeeper cora is a treasure coffee shop. 1. Wrong room allocation, no balcony, it took us more than half hour to clarify 2. Refridgerator did not work, they tried to repair but it still did not work, brought a new fridge in the next morning, we put our drinks in and went out, in the evening our drinks had been hot, the fridge was heating instead of cooling, they again changed the fridge. 3. They made the bed every day and ecchanged the towels, but did clean the glasses, coffee cups and the table. 4. A lot of Chinese TV channels, one russian, arabic, french and spanish each, but no english TV channel.

The room is big, the bed is comfortable, the service is very good, there are fruits every day for 2 nights, and 2 facial masks are given on the second day. The breakfast is also good, with noodles and rice noodles. It is convenient to eat out. High cost performance! Recommended!

Overall is ok, with a great restaurant, and a chef making superb omelet. But there are 3 points that made the experience a bit disappointing: 1. the gym was temporarily closed. 2. The room I booked, a king Deluxe, was very very small, too small for being a Deluxe, and for a leisure hotel like this. The bathroom has no bathtub, and even not enough space for towels. 3. The staff was always apologizing for some inconvenient, but didn't instead try to solve the problem. For instance in the pool side, I asked for a couple of drinks with ice and straw: they had no straw and no ice there, and didn't want to ask the bar or the restaurant to bring, so I only can take it in that way, with their apologies. Really not what you expect in this kind of hotel.
