The place is in the middle of the ticket office sightseeing car and the entrance of the attraction. The distance between the left and right is three or four kilometers. It is not possible to walk. 大酒店不如叫旅社，開門進去就是前台，一個服務員接待遊客，前台和樓梯就有2米的樣子，人多了根本站不下。室內有空調、24小時熱水。但設備比較老舊，衞生間很老的那種蹲便，水管直沖式的，洗浴用品也簡易。選擇這家因為在網上介紹説位置在火車站附近，距離太平古城直線距離1.6公里，然而實際步行的時候走了半個多小時，因為兩者之間隔了一條很寬的河，到河對岸需走很遠的路，才能過橋到對岸的古城。到了古城有點失望，幾乎沒有商户營業，建築風格雖然復古，但現代的感覺還是比較多的，與古城的概念有差異，比如古香古色的院牆配的一道防盜門，顯得很不用心，感覺特意乘高鐵過來很不值得。
