Those who come to the nearby colleges to work are very close to the College of Medicine, the College of Architecture and Technology of the Electronic School. You can enjoy the university town by scanning a shared electric car downstairs haha! There are restaurants downstairs, and the food street is not far in front. There are many local specialties in Chongqing, which are delicious. The room was very clean, the facilities were complete, the front desk was warm, the service was thoughtful, and I also printed the information for free. The room is large, and the bathroom is divided into dry and wet rooms. The decoration facilities and colors are relatively old, and the overall clean. The shampoo and bath products are directly from the brand (like Pantene?), and they are not bottled anyway. It is recommended to install a gauze curtain. Otherwise, if you close the first layer of curtains, you will have to turn on the lights in the room, wasting the view of the park outside. Breakfast is relatively simple with a single variety.
The location is very good. In front is the bustling University Town, a street of food, drink and entertainment. It is also very close to Sichuan University. Behind it is the University Town subway station across the park. There is Lucky downstairs.
The front desk was very welcoming, and the girl No. 7 was very gentle. She left her sunglasses in the store when she left the store, and sent me a courier (I have to bear the courier fee).

The room is not large, a small round table, bedside charging socket ~ there is one, but the room is relatively clean, the ceiling is not messy facilities (safe), because it may have been open for a long time, a small part of the wall and wooden floor look not very new. The bathroom facilities are relatively simple, the double occupancy seems to have one person and one extra towel, the floor is high, the water seems to be a bit small, not very hot, winter is good for heating, it is still clean. The service is very warm.

It is a top-tier mid-range hotel in the university town area, with an excellent location and well-developed surrounding business district. The room is clean, and although the facilities and decoration are not new, they are very practical, especially the service of the housekeepers is very enthusiastic. There are many people staying during the Spring Festival, and the breakfast variety is also rich, which definitely meets the needs of Chinese and Western combinations. The key is that Holiday Inn Express has always provided free but not cheap breakfast varieties, and the hotel staff have good service. It is a warm hotel! Overall, it's very convenient. It's just after getting off the light rail. It's so convenient to travel. I like the style of the room. The room is very clean and well ventilated. Opposite is Tianjie. After taking a shower, I went out for a while to eat and drink. It's not too convenient to have fun, the overall experience is very good, the boss is also very nice, everything you need will be delivered in time.

To be honest, the hotel's hardware facilities are very good, and the breakfast is also OK, but the service needs to be improved. 1. I was informed in advance in the morning that the room needed to be cleaned, but I didn't touch it when I returned to the room in the afternoon. It seems that they forgot? 2. Valuables were left in the room after check-out, and the hotel found it but didn't tell the customer. When the customer remembered it, they immediately said that it happened. It seems that they forgot again? 3. In terms of details, there was no shower gel when I checked in, and I was forced to take a shower without shower gel. 4. After pointing out the relevant problems, the hotel staff proposed measures such as service upgrades. After checking in for the second time with a try-it mentality, the promised service was not implemented, resulting in disappoin**ent and early departure before the subsequent room was fully occupied.
I probably won't go there for the third time.

Very close to the city and the airport, Pucun made me feel why Chongqing is called a mountain city. It is really a good place to relax after the hustle and bustle! It was such a surprise. Although it was only two days and one night, the boss's design aesthetic and the B&B experience on the terraced slopes allowed us to experience many different beautiful scenery. The room is simple and has good facilities and equipment. The Dyson hair dryer is very comfortable. I like it very much. It is warm and high-end! Experience the chirping of the robin during the day, and fall asleep to the sound of frogs at night, as well as the bamboo forest among the pines. It just happened to rain in Chongqing. The clouds and mist in the mountains in the morning and the new rain in the empty mountains were very healing. Chongqing is really charming! Chongqing has 3D and is also a mountain city! The ingredients picked in Pucun are hard to come by. The plums just came out recently, so sweet! The butler was attentive and accompanying me throughout the whole process, very considerate! I like Pucun very much and will come to Pucun next time!

GGuest UserJust finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room.
Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious.
Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable.
What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable.
Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced:
- A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty
- Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals
- One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it
- Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel.
- A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room
- Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness
Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too.
Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

There's a great food court and the #5 line metro station located in the basement- making the hotel easy to reach and excellent for any kind of travelers. Hotel is walking distance to the Jiefangbei Square, the Raffles Square; and close to many local attractions and restaurants. The suites are clean and well appointed; one even included a treadmill and an exercise bike. We highly recommend the hotel for family and business travelers. Lots of food just around the area and shopping too! The room itself is huge and the staff were so kind to give us a free upgrade. There’s so much space to open our luggage and lounge around. The toilet is also very clean and spacious. Not to mention the gorgeous view since the hotel is on the 46th floor - you can enjoy the beautiful night view of Chongqing from the room! Overall a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend!!

The hotel's meal price is not very friendly, and the first time I saw the hotel, I could not bring my own wine and takeaway. Eating is charged by the head, drinking tea is also, to be honest, in addition to the environment is good, other really... I like this hotel very much, I will choose to stay in the future.

SSarie BottWOWOWOWOOW location could not be better! Directly across from Raffles and the horizontal hotel towr on the waterfront. Bathtub room has an incredible view. Modern, industrial design. Massive bathtub. Soft mattress. Excellent service. My only notes would be to add some towel or robe hooks in the bathroom and to give a tag for the door if you want room service or ”do not disturb”. Highly recommend. I will stay here if I ever come to Chongqing again.
