The room I was in was intelligently managed with a device you need to speak to in Chinese so that you can get things like the AC working. This wasn’t seamlessly integrated for foreigners since it only caters for Chinese speaking people. It would be great if the hotel offered tea or coffee sachets if they will have a kettle in the room. The room was not friendly suited for people to stay there for a while, the size of the room forced one to get out and find something outside to do.
