Wij hebben al meerdere malen in dit hotel verbleven, wat midden in de hoofdstad ligt maar toch ook rustig aan de rand van een groot park met meertjes. Wij combineren dit met familiebezoek die te klein behuisd is om daar met ons gezin te logeren. Het hotel en naastgelegen zwembad (“club”) zijn aparte bedrijven, waardoor ook hotelgasten toegang voor het zwembad betalen. Voor west-Europeanen goed betaalbaar. Sinds najaar 2023 runt beheerders-echtpaar Maria en Mihail dit hotel en is de sfeer en service enorm vooruit gegaan. Dit echtpaar en de receptiemedewerkers zijn ook zeer behulpzaam bij het reserveren van restaurants, regelen taxi of bv. het regelen van een leuke excursie naar een van de vele wijnkastelen van het land. Het is een ideaal familiehotel, ook voor de sportieve zakenman die liever een dagelijks rondje hard loopt in het park of baantjes trekt in het zwembad, dan tot laat in de nacht in een rokerige hotelbar zit. Er is geen uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet, maar een gezond ontbijt met verse streekproducten wordt op verzoek bereid, ook is er a la carte ontbijt, lunch en diner in Club Royal Park mogelijk. In het park liggen nabij nog twee zeer goede restaurants en bij de uitgang van het hotel liggen tegenover een Pizzeria, Supermarkt, apotheek en de bushalte (lijn 4) naar het centrum.
