Warwick Allerton Chicago

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I really like hotels with history and a sense of antiquity. The Allerton Hotel is a 1920s building that has lived through the Jazz Age, old Chicago, the post-war period, and several changes of ownership. Inside, there are many historical elements: the elevators, the bathroom faucets, and the door handles. The rooms are nice and spacious. A huge plus is its location on the Magnificent Mile, one of Chicago's most prestigious streets. The room amenities include coffee, tea, and coffee/tea making facilities. They charged $50 for early check-in (4 hours early). One downside is the charge for storing luggage before check-in and after check-out: $2 per item, which I've never encountered before. There's a bar and a cafeteria on the Lobby floor. You can ask for water at the reception. Overall, I recommend this hotel ✅👍🏻

I enjoy staying in older, grand hotels, and this one certainly delivered on that front. It's very spacious, feeling more suitable for families, and extra beds can be added. The environment is also excellent, located very close to 360 Chicago, making it a comfortable walk to the observation deck. However, on the first night, I discovered a window was open, and mosquitoes had gathered in a corner. Hotel staff had to come and take care of it immediately, so we made sure to keep the windows tightly shut afterward to avoid any further issues. Other than that, everything else was great, and the transportation was quite convenient.

The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and its location is excellent, making it very convenient to get anywhere. Many attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is like an apartment, and while the room doesn't have much of a view, it's spacious enough and quite good.

This hotel is right in the city center, close to the Harry Potter shop. It's very convenient for getting around and near shopping areas.

The service was excellent, and whenever I had an issue, it was addressed quickly. Very good service overall.

The service was just okay, otherwise everything else was fine. Compared to other hotels, they weren't as enthusiastic.

The location is perfect for shopping, but the elevator is quite slow, so you need to be patient. The room clearly shows its age, but it's comfortable, and they provide Starbucks coffee, which is a nice touch.
