Very nice and well-maintained hotel. Quick check-in with a friendly, helpful receptionist who spoke excellent English. The hotel has a small indoor pool and offers a breakfast for 200 baht per person, mostly savory, but with a small corner dedicated to sweets. I booked a suite with two bedrooms: one double and one with two single beds, both with private bathrooms. The rooms were large, clean and had two balconies. A refrigerator and free bottles of water were also provided.

The hotel is beautifully designed and in a good location. The hotel is relatively new and has a bit of a decoration feel, but it is also equipped with a purifier. The sound insulation effect of the room is not good. There are too many steps in the room, which is easy to stumble. The air conditioner outdoor unit is on the top of the balcony. When the air conditioner is turned on, the sound in the room is too loud. The toothbrush is too hard, so I dare not use it. The toilet paper is too thin, you know.

Hi Chiang Rai is a relatively new hotel around the area that we stayed. Not sure whether it’s due to the recent flooding at Chiang Rai, feels that there isn’t many tourists staying in the hotel during our stay there. Hotel was clean & thoughtful, and provides 2 umbrella in the hotel room in case we need probably cos of the rainy season now. Very near to the night bazaar and small bus terminal with many eating places nearby. Hotel breakfast was so-so with quite limited options but good enough if we don’t want to go out especially if raining in the morning. Overall a good hotel option for us.
