Great place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel also offers a lot of programmes and activities in Chiang Mai. Superb place to stay in a quiet place in Chiang Mai. Breakfast was fantastic. Suitable for big groups or families too.

Joy's House is an oasis of sweet tranquility. The staff are genuinely hospitable. The grounds are gorgeous and well-tended. The property is a short 15-20 minutes into the heart of Chaing Mai. I also appreciated the a la carte food options available for lunch and dinner. I hope to return someday.

Endroit sympa, mais un peu loin de tout. Beaucoup de moustiques même s'ils allument des bougies anti-moustiques, ce n'est pas suffisant… Dans la chambre, la literie est bonne mais les oreillers sont trop durs. Pour l'eau chaude de la douche, c'est une petite chaudière à allumer manuellement. La piscine est froide et l'eau n'est pas très claire. Le petit-déjeuner est simple mais bon. Globalement, c'est un peu comme une maison d'hôtes.

What a lovely place. Family run old style Thai home with wonderful ambiance and lots of greenery. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we loved being able to borrow bikes to explore the local area. The best breakfast in Thailand too. We will definitely be back!

Une ambiance très calme, sereine. Nous avons testé le cours de cuisine thaï, un grand moment de partage et de découverte que je recommande franchement. Par contre, on ne peut pas avoir la sérénité sans être reculé, il vous faudra passer par les "grab" pour rejoindre le centre ville (application uniquement accessible avec une e-sim thaï), il vous en coûtera dans les 120BTH pour rejoindre le night market qui est juste immense. La navette le matin et le soir servent bien mais les grab vous offre plus d'opportunités si vous voulez bouger autour. Un chouette séjour de 4j dont nous sommes repartis satisfaits.

I cannot say enough great things about this very special place to stay. The accommodations and property were perfect for us and our introduction to Thailand. We made ourselves at home in a luxury room. It was quite spacious, with a comfortable bed, good bathroom with hot water in the shower, and ample living space. The property had a very nice pool and other amenities to accommodate extended stays. We thoroughly enjoyed their onsite cooking class and massages. Best of all, we took advantage of their travel program to Chiang Rai and further north. Shout out to Doe for making it al happen and for patiently answering all my questions before we traveled and once we were there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Joy’s House. We were fortunate enough to visit in the low season and had this wonderful place to ourselves. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. So peaceful and relaxing but not too far from old town. We had the family bungalow and it was perfect. It’s like staying at your sweet Thai grandmas home.the breakfast was delicious as were the dinners we had here.

Wir haben nichts auszusetzen. Essen egal ob Frühstück (Buffet alles frisch + selbst gebackenes Brot, Snack oder Abends einfach nur Top!! Die Anlage sehr schön und groß ohne das es sich verliert. Alles gepflegt und mit viel grün. Service: Einfach nur Spitze! Alle waren sehr hilfreich und super freundlich. Doe hat sich meistens um uns gekümmert und auch immer wieder mit unserer 1 1/2 jährigen Tochter gespielt damit wir mal was ruhiger essen konnten. Haben dort einen Kochkurs und 2 Touren gebucht auch alles sehr schön und unkompliziert wie man sich das vorstellt. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!
