The place is very nice, but the pool has so much chlorine and pH (copper) that it discolours any hair. If you have a problem, they don't offer solutions, and they make you feel guilty because they insinuate that it's your fault. We go swimming frequently and this has never happened to us, in other areas of Thailand we have not had any problems.
If they had been decisive and had a better attitude, we would not have changed hotels...

Generally clean and enjoyable stay though the interior design feels a little dated and rustic. Great location located centrally in ancient city of Chiangmai with many eateries nearby within walking distance.
Only gripe I had is with the noise and poor soundproofing. The opening and closing of doors were so loud (and by no fault of the neighbours) that I thought it was our own room door. Also, in early morning starting from 8am you can hear children singing nursery rhymes and shouting as the kindergarten is just downstairs.
