Plutôt satisfait de notre venue nous avons eu peur au vu des commentaires. A notre arrivée notre chambre était propre et sentait bon. Le lit est très confortable ! Petit bémol pour la salle de bain, propre en global mais présence tout de même de poil dans la douche et sur les toilettes à notre arrivée. Présence d'un micro onde et de la télé avec des chaînes type bain sport. Le petit déjeuner est à volonté. Je trouve très complet. La machine à café, et une machine pour jus de fruit, présence de jus de fruits frais en carafe à côté. Corn flakes, muesli, viennoiseries pains chocolat, croissant, pains au raisins... thé, des grands morceaux de pains avec au choix beurre doux ou demi sel, échantillons nutella, miel et confitures diverses compotes ou yaourt nature nous ne sommes pas déçus.

In the Cherbourg area it is really difficult to find a room. By pure luck we found one in this hotel outside the center and because whoever made the reservation didn't show up. Thanks again for giving it to us. Enjoy your breakfast.

This small hotel allows you to be close to Cherbourg and the city of the sea thanks to a nearby bus stop. Moreover, you can buy tickets for the visit at reception with a discount so there is no need to queue on the day of the visit. The room was clean. The very comfortable mattress and the pleasant reception team. Free parking at the hotel, very convenient. The only thing to say is that a color refresher would not be a luxury. There is a delicious Japanese restaurant right next to the hotel for your meals 😉

This Monday, October 3 in the evening, I wanted to order food. As the order is about to arrive, I rush out of my room and realize too late that the card is still inside; I didn't have time to hold the door. So I go to reception to collect my order which never arrived (this is not the hotel's fault but it is important to show the opposition between the way I behaved and that of the receptionist). So I call the receptionist to tell her the problem. Already on the phone no friendliness, I willingly wait the 20 minutes for her to arrive. When she arrives, without a glance, with an angry face, she asks me for confirmation of my room number, always without a glance and with an aggressive tone. She hands me another card, I kindly ask her how to return it, aggressive response, and just when I very kindly want to thank her and apologize for the incident, she slams the door in my face. I had already ruined the evening, I was very kind and I tried to apologize, she on the other hand made no effort to contain herself and remain friendly, it's quite scandalous. Besides, at the price of the room it is not normal that there is no 24/7 reception, cheaper channels have one! In any case, this behavior is intolerable. In short, this deplorable reception pushes me to not recommend this hotel, and honestly I was really hesitant to make a scandal the next day and go home! Fortunately the rest of the team is friendly! Other problems: - no elevator, and no presence detector for the light, so we struggle with the suitcases on arrival (then on departure) to turn on the light and go up to the room. And as a result the hotel is completely unsuitable for disabled people (I am not concerned but it is important to point out). - the time range for breakfasts is too short. If we have had a big evening, we will be woken up by a banging on the door to go and have breakfast before 9:30 a.m. (breakfast otherwise really average for the price, the pastries seem to be reheated frozen foods, there is a bakery next door, why not work with them to provide fresh pastries in the morning?). - Cleaning is done from 9 a.m. as well, it's not a problem but even if we put "do not disturb", we knock on the door, afterwards I anticipate because I don't like cleaning to be done in my room when I have this kind of short stay (I have unfortunately already had thefts in other hotels, since then I am suspicious) but I should not have to do it, the simple fact of indicating "do not do not disturb" should suffice. - the hot water in the shower comes and goes at random, so one day you will have cold water and then suddenly it will be hot, before becoming cold again later, then too hot again, e

For those who are afraid of taking a hotel in the middle of Cherbourg, rest assured, easy-to-access, large and free parking is available behind the hotel. Classic welcome, nothing to complain about there. The bedroom is spacious as is the bathroom. More than enough for 1/2 people. A microwave is even available in the room! /!\ If you are sensitive to noises that other occupants may make, prepare earplugs! /!\. Actually a small downside regarding the soundproofing of the rooms. Too bad for occupants lacking education. For one night it is largely correct in terms of quality/price.

2 nights in a triple room located on the 3rd floor without elevator. Limitless cleanliness, hair on the floor, dilapidated bathroom (simple shower curtain, shower hose in poor condition, limited lighting, no hairdryer, old-fashioned toilet bowl in shower room...). Presentation photo makes you want it, but disappointment on arrival. However, comfortable beds. Breakfasts limited to what is strictly necessary. Fruit juice dispenser broken, simple jugs placed nearby.
