Clean and sanitary, with complete facilities. The hotel also delivers items quickly. There are 3 washing machines and 3 dryers, which is very convenient. The hotel also has a wide variety of buffets in the morning. The wontons are good. Coffee and juice are available. I'm not sure what the late night porridge is. It seems that there is no porridge at night. Full marks.

Great service and excellent food! On our early arrival of 9am, we were allowed to check in. Room was clean and smelled fresh though it was supposed to be smoking room. One thing about this hotel is they never stop feeding you with their Sichuan delicacies, that you would be given free delicacies from afternoon till night. Of special mention is their house keeping team who timely pick up the bag that left behind by our son after we checked out. Will definitely choose this hotel when visiting Chengdu, and also recommend this to friends!

Good value for money. This Home Inn has been renovated. I'm very pleasantly surprised. It's very new and doesn't smell bad. It has complete facilities, but the space is relatively small. I'm 157cm tall and can sleep on a 1 meter wide bed. For taller people, I recommend a double room at the entrance of the hotel. There is a breakfast shop. The restaurants on that street are all delicious. It is very convenient to go to Kuanzhai Alley. The location is quiet in the bustle. It is very quiet at night. The front desk service is also very good. Recommended.

We considered living near Chunxi Road but decided to stay here for better food access and were glad we did! The food street Kuixinglou is behind the hotel and has everything you would need. It is not touristy. We went to get late night desserts and snacks during the day. The rooms were cleaned daily. We stayed in Leshan for a night and forgot to tell them and they were so worried about us when we didn’t come back. The front staff was very kind. We truly enjoyed this hotel and would book it again next time we’re in Chengdu. Beds and pillows are also very comfortable.

Hygiene: Hygiene is also very good, and the lighting in the room is also very good.
Environment: There is Douhua and Maocai nearby, and there is a shopping mall opposite which is very convenient
Service: Full smile service. I will stay here next time. There is no water in the room to drink. Auntie will refill two bottles when cleaning up, which is great.

I love this hotel. Although the building looks very old and torn, I wasn't expecting that the room is so good. Very new, clean and tidy. Room size is good. And all amenities are provided. The room is very clean n modern.
Especially the front desk staff is superb. Most of the front desk staff I have encountered in numerous hotel are just doing their job. But at this hotel, they made u feel at ease and home. The lady even offered to help me with my luggage which I have never experienced in china. Will definitely stay here again whenever I come chengdu. All thanks to the service and front desk staff..5 star hotel service.

The beds were clean, bathtub water was abit slow but warm enough, had a good soak at the end of every day. They provided free fruits as well.
Location wise was very convenient, walking distance less than 5 mins to the nearest MRT and you can get DiDi easily as well.. they have robots to deliver your food delivery as well and if you order Taobao, you can collect it at the pickup point just behind the hotel.
Breakfast wise could be improved though, most of the choices were quite heavy for breakfast 🤣

So happy with my one week stay in Dorsett Grand Chengdu!! Had a great service from 小余 Eva during check-in & she was so nice to upgrade me to a Suite!! Love the clean & spacious space… Furnitures & interior were well maintained. Housekeeping sisters are really nice people too, they always gave me things that I need quickly whenever I ask. I must also highlight about the security level at night in the hotel made me feel safe at all times, which are many male staffs looking after at ground floor… Every staffs had made this hotel a great place to stay, well done!! :D

Perfect
LLvsezhiziI stayed for two nights during the May Day holiday and was very satisfied! First of all, it is worth recommending that the service attitude is very good, and it takes all aspects of the guests into consideration. It makes guests feel at home, and the service is far better than that of a five-star hotel. Secondly, the environment is very good. It is located between two mountains full of bamboo forests. The garden design is great, and it has its own mountain trail and tea pavilion developed on one side of the mountain. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the garden and on the mountain trail. The room is a large Japanese tatami style, including goose*stone slabs in the room, which the kids love very much. Breakfast is served one by one, with a unique style. Dinner is a standard meal, very rich, and also suitable for kids. It's a pity that it rained for two days and I didn't see the fireflies. I will come to see the fireflies in July~
DDelboyThis was a first class experience at a first class hotel. Right from the start I was made to feel at home and was allowed to check in much earlier than 2pm which was ideal as I could freshen up before going to my future work place. In addition, complimentary breakfast was added to my reservation which again was a big bonus and the choices were fantastic. The grounds around the hotel are very nice to take a walk and the hotel is very near to many restaurants. The room itself was comfortable and great value for money and even having a bathtub was nice to use at the end of the day. This is a great place for anybody to stay and is family friendly which is convenient to go and see the pandas. All the staff were fantastic but I must mention Paul who really went that extra mile to make stay comfortable and even exchanged his Wechat in case I needed any help. His professional approach and English speaking ability is a great asset to the hotel. I will definitely be returning soon.
MMudanwangAfter a recent experience at Chengdu Ocean Springs MGallery by Sofitel, I felt that its services and facilities were superior. The hotel has a beautiful environment, quiet and warm, which makes people relax physically and mentally. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the quality is reflected in the details. The hot spring water is clear and you can enjoy the surrounding natural scenery while soaking in the hot spring. In terms of dining, the food is rich and delicious. The service staff is warm and thoughtful, which adds a lot of convenience to our journey. This stay experience left a deep impression on me and I strongly recommend it to friends who pursue quality and comfort. Overall, this hot spring hotel is worth a try and will definitely bring you an unforgettable experience!
GGuest User1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road.
2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm.
3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

GGuest UserWe had a great time in Chengdu and our stay at minyoun hotel helped make all the difference. It is quite a luxurious hotel with the reception on the 33rd floor and rooms even higher up meaning that all rooms came with an unobstructed view of the city skyline.
Location was also great being within walking distance ~7-10mins to taikooli (shopping area) and lankwaifong (bar/club area). It was also only 100/200meters away from a metro station which we honestly didn’t use, as taxis were all only 10-20rmb (~€2)
Finally the staff were excellent and particularly helpful at every request. Special shoutout to the 2 girls (apologies if we have the names wrong but Chris and Joy?), and Stefan Hu who took the time to suggest all the best places to visit around Chengdu - helping us add the locations to our maps and gifting us a tourist information notebook and panda!
We really enjoyed our stay at minyoun hotel and would highly recommend staying here. The staff brought our stay to another level, thank you ⭐️
WWen KaiGreat and convenient location, to the point we extended another night stay. Only 200m to People's Park station, subway Line 2, which can connect you almost anywhere. Able to walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley, even Tianfu Square if you can walk 2km. Also have a convenience store available downstairs of the same building, and Hong Qi store if you walk a bit further. Many tour agencies are on the opposite road, where you can book day tours. The tour bus pickup and drop off points are also only around 1km from this building, easy to walk to due to the extra-wide sidewalks. It's facing the main road so you can easily get taxis as well.
The building is easy to locate, but the check in counter is more confusing to find. When looking in from the main road, the convenience store is on the left, so you need to go to the opposite side of the convenience store. You need to walk to the back of the building and find the entrance facing the wall with a car park boom gate. There is a security guard and there are lots of online delivery boxes. Then, access the elevator and the reception is on level 26.
There was a washing machine and detergent available in our unit, which we utilized. Other than the clothes hanging bar in the kitchen, the rest of the unit lacked places to hang things such as wet towels. It was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with another queen bed in the living room. Hot water was always available though you have to fiddle with the lever and wait some time. The kitchen only had a water kettle and a few mugs. There's a primary school right beside the building and you can hear the students every weekday morning. (My photos were taken just before checkout so don't mind the mess)
The owners are an exceptionally friendly couple who are hardworking and provide excellent service. They are open to feedback and we've told them what we think was lacking in our unit. Hopefully they will implement the small improvements. They also recommended a few restaurants to us that had good local food and were reasonably priced.
Recommend to add them on WeChat prior to arrival and communicate your arrival time. They wait at the front desk past midnight if they don't know the guest's check in time. However, they can only communicate in Mandarin, so you may face some difficulty.

MM. NurhaikalGreat hotel. Located a mere 10mins walk away from Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road and the metro station. A convenience sits right beside the hotel too. Good variety of rooms to choose from. We got a free upgrade to a corner room that had a wider entryway. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Comes with a kettle however no mini fridge. Hotel comes with a laundry room with washers and a dryer. Service was generally good. Left luggage service available.
Would recommend staying here of you're looking an afforable place to staynin Chengdu.
GGuest UserThis is probably your best option in Chengdu. The rooms are really cute with a tatami style bed and they are clean. The water pressure is awesome and the room is quiet. The staff speaks English so it is easy to communicate and get help/info.
The hang around areas are nice and the roof top has a great view but the beers are a bit expensive for being a hostel.
Zoey that works in the reception is the best! She is super service minded and will help you with everything!
She helped us much more than expected from the hotel/hostel staff. Without her our visit would have been much less nice and more complicated.
The hostel should be super happy to have her and should do everything in the world to keep her! If we go back to Chengdu we would choose this hostel over a nicer hotel just because of the brilliant service, thanks a lot Zoey!
The laundry service upstairs works great and it is cheap but there is only one machine and you can hang your clothes there and they dry quickly or you use the dryer. We didn't have any issues waiting to use them etc.
SSoloWondersI’d say the hostel has a youth vibe and rooms with windows are spacious. Cleanliness could be improved big time as well the messiness in the hallways - apparently the hostel is being renovated so many debris can be spotted accumulated down the hall.
Location close enough to the Temple and Monastery complex and to an amazing restaurant street with delicious Chengdu food.
Make sure you buy water before coming in and select rooms with windows otherwise you may be assigned one that’s has none.
AAnonymous UserThe location is remote, totally unexpected. We arrived late past 12am, the person who picked us up came on time, however, a heads up would be well appreciated as the way to the hotel was a dark, unlit, small road. We were all alert and concerned about where we were heading. A real scare!! Other than that, everything is okay for a night stay.
