W Hotels in Chengdu

Got a free upgrade upon check-in. Appreciate the bigger space with the room upgrade. The room looks exactly as per the photos on the listing. I love that there is hot tea served on the carousel as the weather started to turn cold. There are cookies and sweets in the panda jar. Staff were nice. Location is just 5 mins walk from the closest subway station. Easy to get around on your own.

It cannot be denied that this is one of the best hotels in Chengdu. Located in the Chunxi road area, it is easy to find tatsy gourmets and is very convenient to take subway. Recommended! What's more, 小马 and 悦悦 were very helpful! Thank you very much for taking care of us. 😍

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was promptly shown to my room. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Chengdu. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower that had strong water pressure—a small detail that makes a big difference. One of the standout features of Crowne Plaza Chengdu is its excellent location. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, as I could easily walk or take a short ride to wherever I needed to go. The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was high, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local specialties. The facilities at Crowne Plaza Chengdu are top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the business center, which made it easy to catch up on work when needed. While the hotel is slightly older, it is well-maintained, and the charm of the classic design adds to the overall experience. In summary, Crowne Plaza Chengdu exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and convenience. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

The service here was outstanding.  10 stars is not enough.  My room was a small room, which was fine, but I had a couple problems and each time they took care of me amazingly.  Once was simple… no outlet near the tea table to plug the kettle. I shrugged and said no problem but just a few minutes later front desk called and asked if I would like a power ***** to help. Yes! Thanks for the good idea!  A few days later we had a big wind and rainstorm and I discovered my rooms window did not close fully. So a little rain and cold wind came in the room.  Solution?  Moved me to a much larger room that had huge windows which did not open. Wonderful.  Just every need the helped with. Also bed was comfy, room was very clean, towels weee big, and breakfast was huge. Really recommend

Toilet shower better have door so when showering water won't wet the floor and washing basing can be bigger more better. Laundry no Aircon Abit hot .carpet for my room see a bit dirty. Besides that all is very perfect.

The apartment was big, clean, and very comfortable with all the facilities and equipment (the washing machine + dryer were very useful since we moved a lot and we had to wash some of our clothes). The personnel at the reception was very kind and all of them were English speakers. The breakfast was good. Sincerely, nothing to complain about. One of our best choices in our travel around China.

Despite of the excellent location and hardware, what makes the Chengdu JW Marriott stand out from all the other competitors from the city is definitely the service. Floy is absolutely the best service manager I have ever met in my worldwide journeys and I will feel guilty if I don’t share my experience with anyone who is looking for a perfect hotel in Chengdu.

An excellent hotel , providing excellent services,  from the front line staffs , to the housekeepers, they are polite and always ready to assist travellers... A good choice for an hotel if you are deciding to visit Chengdu, it will definitely leave you an unforgettable experience. The hotel is well located,  right in the centre of Chengdu. The nearest metro station is only a 100m away.. from there,  you can basically reach anywhere within Chengdu. The breakfast offered by the hotel is fantastic too... It offer both Chinese and western food ... delicious food dining within a nice cosy atmosphere... Last but not least , I would like to give my highest compliment to one of the front line staff 李孟阳, for his excellent services and assistance... He had been very patient with my numerous questions about making plans to visit Chengdu's  tourist site. He been very helpful..

Great layover experience. Attentive and caring service from every staff at this hotel. Front desk staff Gali went out of the way to assist me in booking theatre ticket and patiently providing travel tips to me as a first time traveller to ChengDu. Carter Wang is also super helpful in offering me advice on where to dine/sight-see. THANK YOU all !! (End of July 2024)
