Hotels Near Max Mara(CD-IFS) in Chengdu

1) Good location over looking taikoo li with street food or restaurant available within the vicinity. 2) great service - front desk able to converse on English n polite. Offered few activities for me to explore in chengdu. 3) clean room n offer late check out. Maybe it wasn't a peak period during my stay. Things to improve. 1) would be good to have a universal travel plug for international travellers. 2) the automated blinds should be down with just 1 push of button instead of holding the button for 2-3 secs.

if you are looking for the boutique hotel in the middle of shopping district, this is the hotel you should consider. it’s located on Chunxi road which surrounded by shopping malls and fashion stores. the hotel looks no different from the photos so you can ensure that you there won’t be any surprises upon your arrival. the room has enough space for bug luggages. it’s clean and ac works well. although staff didn’t communicate much in english, they were willing to help via wechat. on yop of that, delivery robot was cool! hotel also offers good breakfast.

Facilities: The environmental design is very good, the air conditioning in the room is cold enough, and the sheets are clean. Hygiene: Hygiene management is poor. There is no need to change shoes. The bathroom on the floor is dirty. I haven't seen anyone cleaning the bathroom during my two-day stay. There are also restaurant employees who should be permanent residents. The sofas in the lobby are full of takeaway garbage that people have eaten, and there are food residues and drinks everywhere on the floor. Service: The front desk service is warm and drinks and alcohol are also sold.

The hardware is good but more can be done from service standpoint as well as offerings. Room was hot and while they promptly provided a fan, the noise from the fan greatly lowered the comfort of the room. Welcome fruits did not look fresh and indeed looked like the farthest thing from a 'Welcome'. Minibar drinks included nothing but sugary can drinks that are obviously cheap and mediocre for such an establishment. I found a hair in the notebook left on the side table next to the bed. The hair was still there after staying 5 nights. Breakfast was a complete mess and disaster - coffee machine was down and there was a shortage of milk for a while. Restaurant staff were unapologetic about the situation which is completely baffling. Kudos have to be given to the restaurant manager who apologised profusely and tried to make amends but alas, in the overall scheme of things, it would take so much more to save this sinking ship of a hotel.

Greeted by friendly hotel staffs when we checked in. Hotel room is spacious, comfy 2 twin beds. There’s also a sofa & coffee table, overlooking the main road. But that make a little noisy, but I’m okay with it Bathroom is big enough & water pressure is excellent. Come with a refrigeration & 2 cans of soft drink & 2 bottles of water everyday. One thing is room service never change our bed sheets for 7 nights. Guess I should have requested them to do so. But overall stay is pleasant & location is superb, within distance to the pedestrian walking street ChunXi, tai koo li and IFS. I’ll come back again for sure.

It is a walk from taikoo li of about 15 to 20 mins.it is 5 mins walk from the subway (2nd hospitals station). The building is in front of a big busy hospital (room facing city) and rather noisy ...even at night Hard to find the hotel entrance at ground floor as the hotel signage is not big or clear. There are many little shops or eateries around . The hotel reception at ground floor is small but the ladies at reception are helpful and nice. I have asked for a high floor room facing city. It is a mistake as the rooms at high floors are quite worn out and old and the room facing city/hospital is noisy. The carpet at the walkway on the floor are very old and dirty. The room is a quite well designed and nice. However they need to touch up and do renewal / renovation of the furniture and wall paints , floor., toilet...etc. once renovated, the room should be 1st class. I like the wooden furniture in the room. The bed is extremely comfortable. I am sure that the rooms facing the courtyard are quiet. The restaurant at 4/F has great food at good price. I have enjoyed eating my lunch and dinner. There is also a nice restaurant nearby (turn left once you come out of the hotel) . It is 20 meters away but you have to walked the stairs up to 3/F. Overall, it is a great place provided that they renovate the rooms and walkway and the elevator. Chengdu is a great tourist city with many good food, historical cultures and sceneries !!!

The location is great. It’s very close to the subway line 2/6, 5 min walking distance to the station. Easy to get there from the West high speed train station. It’s a bit difficult to find as there is no sign of the hotel. We contacted the stuff and they came to pick us up. I know Chinese so it was easy to communicate. There are also western restaurants nearby. There is a fridge and a washing machine in the room which is a big plus. There even was a washing liquid. The problem is that it’s an old place and not very clean, bedsheets are clean though. There is no soap and no conditioner. Overall suitable for the budget travelers.

Great location, walking distance to Wu Hou and Jinli Ancient Town. Hotel staffs are helpful too. There are shops - souvenir, restaurant, luggage in the same row as the hotel. Complimentary breakfast - would recommend to go earlier as seats are limited

We came to Chengdu to attend a wedding and travel at the same time. The accommodation here is very convenient. Just downstairs, there are food and shopping. Then it’s a short walk to the subway station Line 2, which is convenient to go anywhere~ The washing machine is quite clean, but the projector is broken in one room and can’t be used. The bed is a bit too soft. My parents said that they were a bit tired when sleeping~ It’s not a big problem~ You can wash clothes, use the microwave and refrigerator~ Watch TV, but there is no membership~ It would be better if there is~ Stayed for two days. Overall, it is very cost-effective, affordable and convenient

Afternoon tea or business dinner (for 1 person): delicious, comfortable environment, but I was a little uncomfortable to use it on the first floor Hygiene: very good Environment: very comfortable Service: very good, very welcoming I originally had a French comfortable king-size bed room, but because the floor was too high, I was given a suite for free. The suite was really great. The soundproofing of this hotel is the best I have ever stayed in. The anti-theft is also good. As long as you lock it, the cleaning lady's card cannot be swiped open. There is also a refrigerator in the suite👍👍👍
