Sungold Designer Hotel (Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road, Chengdu)

The room was not cleaned properly, the air conditioning leaked onto the bed. The bathroom had not been cleaned, there was a toe nail next to the bed. We originally booked for 3 nights but left after 1 night. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The hotel upgraded our room for free upon arrival, kind gesture that we really appreciated. The design is on top, futuristic, smart with new equipment we couldn't ne more seduce. The room are exactly as displayed in the pictures so no photoshop added. They served an afternoon tea with some pastries that were excellent also as small refreshment in the morning. The reception woman was really kind and could even speak english. Definitely worth for people on business trip who are looking for a place to stay that ally comfort and design.

Great location, truly on point with the city center, ideal for both shopping and sightseeing. I had a small problem with the room and staff changed it for free without any complaints. I recommend it, will definitely return there again

It's very convenient, just a 10 min walk to the majority of amenities and tube. Room was clean and had complimentary water and coffee, just as basic toiletries. There are literally dozens of small shops, eateries, hairdressers, beauticians and malls in 5min walk range. The staff was polite and helpful.

The location is perfect. Close to all the boutique stores, the Apple store, and really good restaurants that serve local and western meals. The hotel itself doesn’t provide breakfast so good food in proximity was a plus. The rooms are alsoa plus. They’re spacious; big enough for 3 friends to fit comfortably.

Overall, we had a great stay at Sungold Designer Hotel. The location is excellent, very close to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road, which made it really convenient for exploring Chengdu. The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. We especially loved the large bathtub—it was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel!
