if you are looking for the boutique hotel in the middle of shopping district, this is the hotel you should consider. it’s located on Chunxi road which surrounded by shopping malls and fashion stores. the hotel looks no different from the photos so you can ensure that you there won’t be any surprises upon your arrival. the room has enough space for bug luggages. it’s clean and ac works well. although staff didn’t communicate much in english, they were willing to help via wechat. on yop of that, delivery robot was cool! hotel also offers good breakfast.

Sometimes it is helpful to read the messages in the message area when booking a room. The hotel is actually Puyin Hotel. Fortunately, I read the guest reviews and left messages so I knew it, so I directly located Puyin Hotel. Otherwise, a tourist who does not have a Chinese mobile phone number may be anxious when he finds the signboard of Aifei Hotel but cannot find the hotel entrance!
It's a bit troublesome to go up to the second floor and then switch to the elevator, but I think it's not a big problem if I'm only staying for one night. The room is as shown in the photos. I like the antique design. It’s just that the room I booked has no window, so I don’t even know it’s raining outside😅
The waiters are all very nice, and it's really close to Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street without having to cross the main road. Next time I go there I will consider booking a room with a window.

Walk to Chunxi road takes about 15mins. Although it’s not very far, but have to up and down the pedestrian bridge which has more than 40 steps each side. It’s not really convenient if you are holding luggages. 7-11, mini mart and pharmacy is right opposite the hotel. Quite a lot of eateries nearby when it’s night time as well. Hotel room overall is clean, but not under the bed. We combined both single and double bed, so we discovered a lot of dust and hair underneath. We arrived after 4pm, only 1 room is ready. Receptionist let us stay in another rooms while waiting for our rooms to be ready. Kids toothbrush and slipper provided. Room is big and we are able to open up all our luggages.

Greeted by friendly hotel staffs when we checked in. Hotel room is spacious, comfy 2 twin beds. There’s also a sofa & coffee table, overlooking the main road. But that make a little noisy, but I’m okay with it
Bathroom is big enough & water pressure is excellent. Come with a refrigeration & 2 cans of soft drink & 2 bottles of water everyday.
One thing is room service never change our bed sheets for 7 nights. Guess I should have requested them to do so.
But overall stay is pleasant & location is superb, within distance to the pedestrian walking street ChunXi, tai koo li and IFS. I’ll come back again for sure.

Family with toddler, stayed multiple nights.
Mixed feelings about this hotel, there are both plus and minus points.
+points:
1. Hotel is quite new, nice and modern design.
2. Friendly and poliet staff, allowed earlier check-in.
3. Stayed in Family room, spacious. Cute bed sheet.
4. A short walk to Chunxi Road. 10 to 15 mins.
5. Strong water flow for shower & smart toilet, auto flush.
-points:
1. Toilet & shower area gets flooded after each use, even flowing outside.
2. The sheets on one of the beds not really clean, felt itchy. So covered it with own blanket & sheet.
3. One of the night, the ppl in the room beside us chatted and laughed loudly till about 3am. Unable to sleep that night. Maybe cause of the thin walls? Can be heard clearly in our room.
4. The kids tent in the room was unstable, fell on my girl a few times, have feedback to the staff they tighten it but not much difference.
5. No WiFi for foreign guests. 😕

This is probably your best option in Chengdu. The rooms are really cute with a tatami style bed and they are clean. The water pressure is awesome and the room is quiet. The staff speaks English so it is easy to communicate and get help/info.
The hang around areas are nice and the roof top has a great view but the beers are a bit expensive for being a hostel.
Zoey that works in the reception is the best! She is super service minded and will help you with everything!
She helped us much more than expected from the hotel/hostel staff. Without her our visit would have been much less nice and more complicated.
The hostel should be super happy to have her and should do everything in the world to keep her! If we go back to Chengdu we would choose this hostel over a nicer hotel just because of the brilliant service, thanks a lot Zoey!
The laundry service upstairs works great and it is cheap but there is only one machine and you can hang your clothes there and they dry quickly or you use the dryer. We didn't have any issues waiting to use them etc.

The hardware is good but more can be done from service standpoint as well as offerings. Room was hot and while they promptly provided a fan, the noise from the fan greatly lowered the comfort of the room. Welcome fruits did not look fresh and indeed looked like the farthest thing from a 'Welcome'. Minibar drinks included nothing but sugary can drinks that are obviously cheap and mediocre for such an establishment. I found a hair in the notebook left on the side table next to the bed. The hair was still there after staying 5 nights. Breakfast was a complete mess and disaster - coffee machine was down and there was a shortage of milk for a while. Restaurant staff were unapologetic about the situation which is completely baffling. Kudos have to be given to the restaurant manager who apologised profusely and tried to make amends but alas, in the overall scheme of things, it would take so much more to save this sinking ship of a hotel.

We came to Chengdu to attend a wedding and travel at the same time. The accommodation here is very convenient. Just downstairs, there are food and shopping. Then it’s a short walk to the subway station Line 2, which is convenient to go anywhere~ The washing machine is quite clean, but the projector is broken in one room and can’t be used. The bed is a bit too soft. My parents said that they were a bit tired when sleeping~ It’s not a big problem~ You can wash clothes, use the microwave and refrigerator~ Watch TV, but there is no membership~ It would be better if there is~ Stayed for two days. Overall, it is very cost-effective, affordable and convenient

GGuest User1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road.
2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm.
3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

LLvsezhiziI stayed for two nights during the May Day holiday and was very satisfied! First of all, it is worth recommending that the service attitude is very good, and it takes all aspects of the guests into consideration. It makes guests feel at home, and the service is far better than that of a five-star hotel. Secondly, the environment is very good. It is located between two mountains full of bamboo forests. The garden design is great, and it has its own mountain trail and tea pavilion developed on one side of the mountain. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the garden and on the mountain trail. The room is a large Japanese tatami style, including goose*stone slabs in the room, which the kids love very much. Breakfast is served one by one, with a unique style. Dinner is a standard meal, very rich, and also suitable for kids. It's a pity that it rained for two days and I didn't see the fireflies. I will come to see the fireflies in July~

CChrissy_HankMy boyfriend and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden during our visit to Chengdu. We were really impressed with how beautiful the hotel was and how friendly the staff was. Upon check-in, they upgraded our room to a very spacious panda room, and I must say, the view from our bedroom window was immaculate. The hotel provided a shuttle to go to the Panda breeding park. My only disappointment was I didn’t stay long, as our visit to Chengdu was short. Despite the hotel's location, I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu. I really love my stay, and I will definitely be staying back here when I revisit Chengdu.

I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.

(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

MMoments of travelingA little dated, but overall still a good hotel to stay. Location wise not within walking distance to shopping streets need to didi. Breakfasts are good though. There are plenty of food around the streets behind the hotel. That’s a plus point. Lobby is on the 33rd floors and you will need to take 2 lifts to your rooms…😂 over all good experience still.

The door is a password lock, the water heater is gas-powered, there is a refrigerator, the water is provided by Nongfu Spring, and there are air conditioners in the room and the living room. There is a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, and the breakfast and hot pot restaurants at the entrance of the community are very good.
The room is three rooms, one of which is a little small, and the living room is separated and renovated.
The location of the house is very good, it is convenient to take a taxi and subway anywhere. Downstairs, across the road is the Kuanzhai Alley, and the People's Park is also downstairs. Take a walk, run, and experience the slow life of Chengdu.

CCatherine HumeThe reception girls are very polite, friendly and helpful. The room is clean and big, the bed is very comfortable. Chinese style breakfast is free and balanced diet, suitable for anyone who likes Chinese food! Free cherry tomatoes are fresh and sweet. Self-serve laundry service - washing machine is free to use on the 4th floor. The room has a slight smell of mold, but the manager have promised to solve the problem with the cleaning company. All in all, the hotel is value for money, I am very happy with the stay and I will recommend it to my friends and the family.

CCălinGreat location at the heart of Chengdu’s busiest area, perfect for shopping and nightlife. Also really well connected by metro. The hotel is new and well designed, and the room was spacious and really well equipped. Main con is that the hotel is in (and shares elevators with) a 30+ floors office building, and during rush hours it can take ages to get a free elevator. Our room’s “city view” was also quite poor.

HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.
