Premier Inn Cheltenham Town Centre

Thank you so much to the team at the Cheltenham Premier Inn for accommodating us at such short notice. After an absolute disaster with our original accommodation we were able to book this with a same day reservation during the Cheltenham horse racing weekend Justyna is a real credit to the team, she was so helpful and kind to us both even assisting with taking our bags to the room as we were early Thank you so much to everyone for being so helpful and accommodating, we will definitely be back!

I have used Premier Inn quite often all over the country and have often used Cheltenham as my base when exploring the Cotswolds or visiting friends in the town. The last few visits have started to make me question staying at this particular hotel. No issues with the room you get what you pay for though the prices are starting get much more pricier than others when comparing like for like. Check in is sometimes slow it depends who you see I feel some are not totally trained with the system. Regularly hard to get the attention of reception staff it seems they are either on a regular break or in a back office sometimes blatantly ignoring a customer and when they do go for a smoke they do it directly in front of the door of the hotel meaning you are forced to walk through the plume of cigarette smoke or vape smoke. Breakfast has been hit and miss recently with sausages especially being either over cooked almost cremated or under cooked so badly. This does seem to happen more when there is a guy doing breakfast I have never seen a problem when the woman who normally works in the kitchen does breakfast. There has become an unprofessional manner by front of house staff lounging around on chairs in the bar area, drinking alcohol and swearing in front of customers seems to be the norm here now.

Great location for exploring Cheltenham. Really like premier plus as it gives that little bit more to enjoy your stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if we went to Cheltenham.

Comfortable place to stay and slept well. The breakfast was pretty good for a buffet - lots of choice and kept well supplied. The only thing that let this hotel down was the terrible WiFi. It was totally unusable. Would have been nice to have at least iPlayer on the TV too.

Great stay, staff are amazing and friendly always welcoming. Comfy clean rooms, breakfast is good. Shout out to the ladies on reception and bar. The drinks are good, great selection foods and snacks The shortage of orange juice never dampened the mood due to supplying great mandarin alternatives

Very quick through check in with lainey at reception and a very good night sleep, good breakfast very prompt service and room was great I think hotel overall was very clean and tidy and the bar service again from lainey was prompt and swift, thanks for a good evening in town
