We stayed at this charming boutique hotel after completing our walk along the Cotswolds Way, and it was the perfect place to unwind. Our room was beautifully designed, and the bathroom was a real highlight—spacious, with both a luxurious shower and a relaxing tub along with incredible natural daylight. The breakfast was fantastic, with the avocado toast being especially delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel at home right away. The thoughtful design details throughout the hotel added to its warm, boutique vibe. Highly recommend this hotel for a cozy, stylish stay!

Quaint hotel with stylish rooms. Our stay was after walking three days along the Cotswold Way. Top floor rooms were spacious and comfy with large showers and bathtubs. Bar on the main floor made lovely cocktails for us when we arrived. Front desk was helpful and steered us toward a wonderful dinner.

I had a very pleasant stay here with a partner this past Friday. I don’t think I can fault this hotel. It’s a beautiful building, elegantly appointed and the room that we were upgraded to for free was marvellous. The staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast on the Saturday morning was delicious. If you need a room in Cheltenham I highly recommend the Cotswold Grange.

Stopped over to break the onward journey to Cornwall, nice pleasant room, very clean, staff very friendly and lovely breakfast, excellent value for money, parking not an issue and very easy place to find, easy enough walk into Cheltenham itself. Very pleasant experience

Our first time staying here, such a beautiful building, some parts do need a bit of TLC but overall we had a lovely stay. The rooms were huge, bathrooms were well equipped and large, with walk in showers and a separate bath. Spotless clean. The staff on reception were welcoming and very helpful, booking us a taxi to Cheltenham for our evening meal. Breakfast has to be pre ordered the day before but it was delicious. There is a bar which is open till around 10pm. Overall a wonderful stay.

Will share the positives of our stay ~ CG is very clean and tidy. Reception was always manned. A great spot close to town. Took us less than 10mins to walk. Food is homemade and the fruit compote was the best we’ve had! Free parking on site. The bath in our room could fit 2 people in ❤️❤️ the lady managing breakfast on 18/8 was fabulous. So professional, knowledgeable and offered for my breakfast to be made again as it was served cold. Such an asset to CG. Our room was upgraded when we arrived which was very appreciated ❤️❤️ The development areas ~ reception needs to be more welcoming with a flower arrangement maybe. It felt cold. We pre ordered breakfast as advised the day before, only to find we were the only ones who did the next day in the restaurant. If we knew it was not mandatory we would have preferred to have chosen our breakfast at the time in the restaurant. Guests should be advised it is optional to pre order. One of the reasons that we chose this venue was because of the outside patio area to only be totally disappointed. The patio area is nothing more than 4 tables with chairs and a dirty water feature, which has been unkept for a period of time. So sad as it would be a wonderful place to sit and relax. CG is not a hotel. It is a bed and breakfast venue.

My daughter and I stayed here while walking the Cotswold Way. This is the 4th hotel along our way and by far the best. From the time Becca greeted us and made sure we had all we needed after our 15 mile day, to when we left the next morning, it was wonderful. The room was generously sized and made up with 2 twin beds as requested, the modern bathroom had excellent lighting and room to store toiletries by the large mirror. Shower had no shortage of hot water - my daughter enjoyed both a bath and a shower. We were in Room 5 and none of the issues expressed in an earlier review were a problem for us. We thought everything was fantastic and our only regret was not planning to stay an additional night and explore Cheltenham. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

I enjoyed the warm welcome and beautiful and spacious room in this grand old, but beautifully restored house. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable and the nice hot and elegantly tiled shower was a delight. I would definitely stay here again.

We had booked a luxury double room. We were given the key to number 31, and pointed down to what had clearly been, in a previous age, the servants area. In estate agents language this would be a basement room or lower ground floor. The room was dark, needing lights turned on, this being a nice July evening! The window looked out on to an earth bank with a large electric cable running across, with a low wall above and then the view of three cars, looking up at their undersides. There had been no indication of any of this when booking, just very nice looking photos of different rooms. Very disappointing. Also, at the back of the hotel is an outside area, which could be made very attractive and a lovely place to sit out, have drink and a chat. Unfortunately it is run down, shabby and a hugely wasted opportunity.
