WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! We, were "EXTREMELY" disappointed upon our arrival when our Uber driver, drove us through a alley to get to the Entrance of this hotel. #1. We noticed immediately (all) the Homeless people standing at the entrance door of this hotel. #2. When we tried to open the entrance door, we couldn't enter because the door was locked ( we, have NEVER been to a hotel, that we had reservations for & couldn't enter). #3. Upon, the front door clerk, buzzed us into the lobby,(we) noticed some more homeless"family" with alot of luggage. We had we wait 30 to 45 minutes before the clerk assisted,me. Once the clerk called me to the counter I explained to her that we had reservations, the clerk act like she couldn't find my reservation. After i showed her my reservation on my telephone, the clerk said Ok, you do have reservations, at which time I requested to see the suite in which i had reserved. She said Ok, then it took her 20 to 30 minutes before, she gave me a key see the suite. Upon, my son & I going into the suite, we noticed ALOT of NEGATIVE,issues with the suite. My "son" said to me : "mom, we can't stay here (I) don't feel safe,we need to get a better hotel & location & I agreed." So, we went back to the front desk, where I asked to speak with the Manager of the hotel. And explain to her these issues & why we "couldn't" stay at this location & ( I ) wanted to cancel (my) reservation. At which time the manager : Ms. CHAVONNE JOHN'KEN, told me, that she understood my concerns & proceeded to cancel my reservation. Ms, JOHN'KEN, was "extremely, professional & apologized" for the long wait & rude behavior of the clerk.
