The view from our room was phenomenal. I have not been anywhere or seen anything quite like it. Itโs was so therapeutic. My daughter said it was like living in Noahโs Arc โ come 3pm and a monkey family make their way to the mango tree outside our room. You can watch sheep and cows walking by in the distance too. Mountain peaks to the left and an insane sea view right ahead. You can see St Kitts in the distance. Itโs paradise. Unspoilt, tranquil and serene. The bed was so comfortable. Our room, which is more like an apartment is cleaned daily. All of the staff care about this hotel and the customers. We were greeted and looked after by Derrecka who is graceful, efficient and sophisticated in her approach to hospitality. The manager Christine is lovely and warm and goes the extra mile to make you feel special and welcome. It has a real family vibe. Christine gives us a special tour of the island and we love attending yoga classes with her. The teacher Moira is brilliant. We wanted a massage and they booked an amazing therapist who came to our room. The food in the restaurant is wonderful. The pool is amazing and warm. We chose to take the local bus into town and to the beach, they go fairly regularly from outside the back of the hotel at the bottom of the drive. Mount Nevis has natural beauty and sophistication. My daughter and I had the best holiday here.

I am very disappointed with this resort. Itโs a shame it doesnโt deliver to the level it should. We were traveling a bit off-season (mid-October): fewer people, less hassle, and more quiet. However, only one restaurant was open during our stay; they did not mention it anywhere. Ok, I donโt mind dining at one place during my stay. However, the food in the restaurant was waaaaay below average. No buffet, a la carte only. To give you a simple example: kids REFUSED to eat french fries because of how rubbery the french fries were. Everything we tried was embarrassingly bad (only the breakfast was ok). We did not expect black caviar or a molecular cuisine experience, but they charged extraordinary prices for something that was poorly made. Do not expect anyone at the beach or pool to make a beach chair for you; we set up the umbrellas and chairs ourselves. Their morning starts around 8:30/9 am, and no one is around earlier. There was also no food and drink service available for us at the beach. The drinks and dirty towels left at the pool the evening before were still there the next morning at 9 am. The seaweed was cleaned very casually, so assume the beach will always have it, which wasnโt a big deal for us, the ocean was still beautiful. The service is slow. The average wait time to get your food is 45-50 minutes. There is a kids' club (3+). The babysitting is $60+$20 in fees (not tips) per hour. Itโs more of a free play, and the organized activities are mostly only on paper; they take kids outside per your request, but not to the pool/beach area. Make sure you specify no TV if you get babysitting services; otherwise, youโll end up paying almost $80 per hour for your kids to watch TV. Overall, I would love to return to St Kitts and Nevis, but definitely not to this hotel. I hope they will fix their food and beverage situation and add at least a Breakfast buffet for customersโ convenience.

Where should I begin??? My family and I was veryyyyy skeptical about booking the Royal St.Kitts Hotel because of all the negative feedback we've seen pertaining to the water situation. But we've decided to experience it on my own, which we didn't regret taking that leap. Our time spent there was exceptional, the check in process was real quick and informative (shout out to Ms.Shermain Paul, you did your thing ๐)I really wish the other agents would take a page from your book, not all of them wasxas pleasant and helpful. But never the less... moving on...Our room was very lovely with a wonderful lake view. We had everything we needed(home away from home). 2 restaurants on site, also on the outside you have other options. Supermarket at your convenience, also beach access and quick taxi service. It was a great 5 nights there. Who knows, maybe next year same time same place.

Having spent 3 weeks here to really experience a โholidayโ rather than staying at our beautiful family home from home on the island- this review shouldโve been better but unfortunately itโs down to individuals who clearly do not understand the importance of hospitality and customer service OR itโs probable that they are selective with which guests they treat appropriately. This hotel really needs to revisit staff training to educate staff etiquette to ALL customers from ALL parts of the globeโฆ Mumbling comments between themselves in native tongue thinking guests do not understand what is being said is PURE ignorance and demonstrates slack attitudes. You would expect staff to remain professional at ALL times and represent the brand you work for in a positive light. Perhaps feeling just a little too comfortable in job security and relaxed here to care that much. Some of the attitudes do not match the beauty of the island. We do recommend you donโt believe the hype and try a different hotel on the island as the praises sung about the Marriott do not in anyway match the service. We were told when asked which hotel is the best on the island that it was this one. However we had family members stay in the other hotel up the road and they were very happy. Clearly St Kitts is proud of this hotel standing out in all its splendour but sadly some staff are letting it down. The hotel itself - PROS are that you have no problem getting Sun loungers by the pool. The hotel room we had was spacious & sufficient. Albeit showing signs of tiredness and in need of much TLC for what youโd expect from the brand. Rooms quite clean. Hareem thank you for being so accommodating and one other male staff member in the snack bar- quite young, dark with a lisp, braided locs- maybe you could teach the others a thing or two about personality. Some of the pool staff were nice and a guy who dealt with the cabana for us. Emerald Spa staff were nice. Sorry didnโt catch names. Gym was decent and itโs Lovely that locals can use the hotel facilities and beach. CONS some staff demonstrate questionable mannerisms as if they arenโt used to hearing different accents. Very inconsistent room service, more often than not you donโt get what you ask for on the menu. Then to rectify it you are charged again the room service charge (I did finally speak to deputy manager about this and was dealt with courteously - thank you). Nothing really here at the hotel to do for children- think youโre missing a trick there. No real greetings during our stay in the lobby, some staff look miserable and unapproachable. Again selective attention only to those I presume they think theyโll get a โtipโ from. A few bottles of complimentary waters handed out on check-inโฆmeh. On arrival to the hotel, I left my card on the room for charges and noticed numerous online debits all within the space of 10-15 minutes of each other for numerous amounts ranging from ยฃ30 to ยฃ400. Luckily they had all declined as I hadnโt

To be honest, the room was cleaned and the location was good. It is convenient to go to the airport and the city center. Downstairs ๐ถ Chinese supermarket, there is everything inside, very convenient. Open the door is the sea, a little luxury! The service industry is not very laughing, not very professional. In general. good!

Another amazing stay at Belle Mont. Frequent day pass and day room guests, this was our first overnight stay celebrating my husbandโs birthday. Exceeded expectations! The luxury, views and privacy Belle Mont offers are unmatched in St. Kitts & Nevis. Customer service from planning your stay through to departure is exceptional. Even in the slow season, the restaurant offered a full menu for dinner and breakfast, not to mention it is open when every restaurant in St. Kitts & Nevis is closed! The King Cottage with pool is to die for. We will be back in November with family in the 3 bedroom house, and I am sure a day room stay or two between now and then. Whether you are planning a trip to St. Kitts or a local who needs to take a break and feel pampered, Belle Mont is your go to.
