So this is not one of them reviews where I completely moan about a place for moaning sake. I will start with the good things. Ok so arrival we were welcomed by very lovely staff, we were a little early so were asked to go for lunch while our room was being prepared. The hotel itself is stunning to look at and the views truly breathtaking, but that's pretty much all it has going for itself, except for the beach bar staff who are amazing. They work long hours and are nothing but nice at all times, same for the animation team, so friendly and talkative make you feel really welcome. There is not much more I can say that's good to be honest, as the holiday went on the cracks truly started to show, the restaurant in the main building was like a school canteen, loud and chaotic. The food was very similar each day even repeated and was never piping hot, just warm and a bit bla. The restaurant across the road in the other block was gorgeous, well laid out and a much better atmosphere, food was still the same as the other restaurant but at least it was clean and tidy and well presented in the 2nd block. Its extremely disappointing that the all inclusive does not include cocktails or cappuccino etc. I've been to a 3 star hotel in Spain all inclusive and these were included seems weird to be a 5 star all inclusive and not have everything included. The hotel provides beach towels which is Brill and the sunbeds are so comfortable. It was me nd my cousin and our teenage daughters staying at the hotel. While we were there it was my birthday, my cousin nd our daughters decided to arrange a surprise for me through reception, my cousin paid for a cake to be arranged and to put some decorations in the room, this was a complete shambles, I was unaware of the surprise until my cousin began getting furious I soon realised, so the cake was not delivered on time to the room our daughters had to go get it to which they were then overcharged, the decorations had not been done either, my cousin spoke to restaurant manager and reception staff about 5 times before it was sorted and by then the surprise was ruined has I was having lunch in the restaurant when the staff were blowing the balloons in front of me. My cousin was absolutely furious and when she went to complain it fell on deaf ears they didn't seem to care. Also the cake she paid for was just one from the all inclusive desserts not a special one or anything, so we could have just took it from the desserts nd not bothered paying. Shambles dont come close. Now the room. The room was lovely, very spacious and the bed that me nd my cousin shared was so comfortable, the sofa bed the girls had was really uncomfortable but they managed, we had to get extra blankets as kids only had a thin sheet on the bed for the 2 of them and the evenings were really chilly. There was a coffee machine in the room but u were only given 2 coffee pods, for anymore you were charged at €1 a pod. The room was clean on arrival, housekeeping came
